Beloved children of God in Christ, I greet and bless you all in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. The Bible says in Psalm 37:4, “Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He shall give you the desires of your heart.”
However, you may be wondering — why are my desires not fulfilled? Why does it feel like God is silent to my prayers? The Word of God reveals that our sins and iniquities can create a block between us and God. When we live in continuous sin or disobedience, our prayers are hindered. But today, the Lord gives us a simple solution — if you sanctify yourself and turn from sin, the next moment your prayer will be heard. God is not a God of revenge; He is a God full of mercy and love. Sometimes He delays not to punish us, but to lovingly draw us back into His path.
Many of you are carrying burdens this month —
You need to pay your child’s school fees, buy uniforms and bags, search for college seats that cost lakhs of rupees, and you may say, “I have nothing.” The Lord says, do one thing today — sanctify yourself and pray. Tomorrow, you will see a miracle. God will meet all your child’s needs. He will provide a house, a job, a way forward. Do not worry. Our God is a good God. If there is any sin you’ve been struggling to let go of, surrender it today. Step into His grace, and He will fulfil the desires of your heart.

Brother K. S. Prince Samuel from Choolai, Chennai shares: We attended the “Anbarin Paathathil Oru Naal” fasting prayer as a family. At the end of the meeting, I told Stephen Uncle that I desired to score well in my 12th board exams and join a good college. He prayed for me and prophetically declared that I would become an achiever. By God’s grace, I scored 450 marks and passed. I also cleared the merit entrance exam for Loyola College and got admitted into the BBA France Business Administration course. This includes two years of study in Chennai and one year in France. Before participating in the Chennai District Junior Basketball Championship, I once again came for prayer — and the Lord showed mercy. I won the tournament. Truly, God has fulfilled every desire of my heart.
Prayer:
Lord, I pray for all your children. According to Your Word, grant them the desires of their hearts. Fulfil all their needs. Break every barrier. Let this year be filled with good things for them. Protect them from all sickness and disease. Let them walk in Your blessings and grace. Amen.
