February 23, 2026
Beloved children of God, I greet you all in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. I am delighted to meet you this 23rd February through this Auspicious word. May God bless you richly.
What is the Auspicious word the Lord has for us today? Let us read from Book of Proverbs 19:17: “He who has pity on the poor lends to the Lord, and He will repay what he has given.”
Today, the Lord is calling you to develop a godly character—compassion for the poor. Some of you may have looked down on the poor or ignored them. Perhaps you kept your distance and preferred the company of the wealthy. But from today onward, the Lord expects you to show kindness and mercy to those in need.
When you show pity to the poor, it is as though you are lending to the Lord Himself—and He will surely repay you. How will He repay? He will bless you abundantly—pressed down, shaken together, and running over, poured into your lap.
Providing food and clothing to the poor is a powerful ministry. It strengthens them like life-giving nourishment. It is a great blessing in the sight of God. Remember this: food and clothing.
Until now, if you have not helped the poor, it is not too late. There can be a change today. Consider Zacchaeus. Though he was wealthy, he did not give to the poor at first. But when Jesus came into his house, his heart changed, and he gave generously. In the same way, through this Auspicious word, Jesus is coming into your home. Let there be a transformation in your heart.
When God blesses someone with wealth and income, it is so that they may comfort and help others. Just as Noah was named with the hope that he would bring comfort in difficult times, God has placed you in this world to be a blessing—to feed many, educate many, and uplift many.
In our ministry gatherings, thousands of poor people come seeking food and prayer. Some who once came just to receive food have now become prosperous business people. Today, they sponsor meals for others. This is the fulfillment of the promise: “He who has pity on the poor lends to the Lord, and He will repay what he has given.”
Do not ignore those closest to you. Sometimes people help strangers but neglect their own brothers and sisters. The Lord teaches us to love and care for those near us first. From today, extend a generous hand to them. As you give, the heavens will open for you.
From experience, I tell you—give and see what the Lord will do. He will bless you abundantly.
Testimony:
A retired man received a small monthly medical benefit. Suddenly, his card was blocked, and he feared losing his support. After prayer, the very next day, the amount was credited to his account again. The Lord answered swiftly.
The Lord will do the same for you.
Prayer
Loving Lord, we thank You. You said, “He who has pity on the poor lends to the Lord.” Give everyone a compassionate heart. Just as You went about doing good, help us to show mercy to those around us—by praying for them, feeding them, clothing them, and opening doors for their future.
As they obey You, may the gates of heaven open for them. Let promotions come. Let businesses flourish. Let abundance increase in their homes.
Today, we also pray for those celebrating their birthdays and wedding anniversaries. Be in their midst, Lord, and do great things in their lives according to this Auspicious word. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.
