My dearly beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, I greet and bless you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. The blessed word that the Lord has given for you today is from the book of 1 Peter 2:9, “But you are a chosen generation, a royal priest hood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.”
Jesus is called the king of kings and Lord of Lords. Our God wishes to dwell in the midst of His people whom He has chosen for Himself and considers them as a chosen generation and a royal priesthood. He is the blessed and only sovereign who is immortal and dwells in unapproachable light. Jesus the king wants to include you in His royalty. The God of Israel wants to remain as a king in the midst of you and your children. He wants you to be like the King’s children. He expects you to live in honor, dignity and freedom. Children of God cannot be slaves to anyone. You belong to the Royal kingdom. You are His children purchased by His precious blood. Therefore, you should have the personality and appearance of royal family. It is purely the birth right of every children of God. That is why He has drawn you out of darkness into His marvelous light.
Many people underestimate themselves. God does not want you to be cowards but wants you to be bold as lion. A lion represents majesty, strength, courage, justice and might. God wants us to be like the Lion of Judah; the symbol of the Israelite tribe of Judah. Jacob blesses his son Judah, referring him and his tribe to that of a lion.
You ought to acquire these qualities in order to belong to God’s royal kingdom. God has granted you His royalty. So, it is your right to make use of His authority and power of royalty in your life as chosen children of God. It is God’s plan that you be fruitful, multiply, fill the earth and have dominion over it. Because of the sin that man committed, he lost the power of dominion. God sent His only begotten son, Jesus Christ to restore the lost power of dominion. Therefore, Jesus died on the cross for you and re-established the status of mankind from fallen state to that of royal hood.
Hence, you will no longer be slaves to sin; neither will you be enslaved to any bondage or curse. Today, God is liberating you from all your sickness, financial crisis, joblessness, childlessness, broken marriages, and all kinds of bondage that you are going through. Receive the power and authority that you have lost in life and establish your high calling of God. Move forward in life boldly to achieve your goals.

Our loving heavenly Father we thank You for this blessed day. Lord, I pray that You may bless my children with sound knowledge and good understanding of the royal relationship that they have with You. Help them to inherit the blessings from God. Bless them to live a life with honor and dignity. May they realize that they are the chosen generation. In Jesus name we pray,
