Beloved children of God in Christ, I greet and bless you all in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. I am delighted to meet you all through this Auspicious word on this June 28th. May God bless you.
What is the Auspicious word the Lord has for us today?
Let us read 1 Peter 5:7: “Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.”
Perhaps you woke up early this morning saying, “My mind is not at peace. I am deeply depressed. My heart feels heavy. Something is weighing me down. My body feels weak because of this burden, and my mind is filled with confusion.”
To every child of God who is in such agony, the Lord is saying today: “Because I care for you, cast all your anxieties on Me.”
The Lord is saying, “Bring your cases to Me, and I will do justice for you. Bring your problems to Me, and I will solve them.”
The Lord has given us this promise, but instead of handing our burdens over to Him, we keep holding on to them, saying, “I will manage it myself.” The moment you decide to carry your problems on your own, depression begins to take hold, and you will struggle to succeed.
This verse tells us to cast all our anxieties upon Him.
Today, many people are burdened with different worries. Some are worried about their children. Some are anxious because they do not have children. Some are grieving over losses in their family. Others are hurting because of betrayal. Each person carries a different burden.
Students worry, saying, “I study so much, yet I don’t get good marks.” Some say, “My memory is weak.” Others are afraid of failure.
But the Lord says, worrying will not bring you victory. Instead, cast your anxieties upon Him. When you believe that the Lord will take care of your situation, that faith will bring success. That faith will restore everything you have lost in life.
What should we do? Instead of worrying, we must place everything before the Lord and pray: “Lord, I cannot handle this anymore. I cannot bear this burden. I do not know what to do, but You know. Please give me a breakthrough.” The Lord will surely give you that breakthrough.
David carried many burdens. He hid in fear among the foothills and caves while fleeing from his enemies, yet his troubles did not end. But one day, he came into the presence of God. He entered the temple with praise and declared: “You have caused men to ride over our heads; we went through fire and through water, but You brought us out to rich fulfillment.”
He offered burnt offerings before the Lord and surrendered everything at God’s feet. He no longer chose to hide in fear.
When David laid all his worries and sorrows before the Lord, God fought his battles. He destroyed all David’s enemies, crowned him with royal honour, seated him on the throne, and enabled him to reign over Israel for many years. The same Lord will do the same for you.
Testimony
“I am working as a doctor in a hospital in Nagercoil. My mother-in-law developed an abscess on her body. We took her to the hospital, and the doctor said there was a possibility that it was a cancerous tumour.
Before taking her to another hospital for further treatment, I brought her to the GLM Prayer Tower in Nagercoil. The prayer warrior prayed earnestly and said, ‘Go with courage. The Lord has done a miracle. It is not a cancerous tumour.’
We then went to the hospital, where the doctor examined her again and confirmed that it was only a normal abscess and not cancerous. Today she is completely healthy.”
The Lord who performed this miracle for Dr. mother-in-law will also perform a miracle for you.
See how she handled her situation. Instead of carrying her anxiety alone, she cast all her worries upon the Lord by coming to the GLM Prayer Tower in Nagercoil. After placing the matter before God, the situation changed completely. The Lord turned what seemed to be a deadly disease into a simple abscess. The same Lord will perform a miracle for us today.
Prayer
Loving Lord, we thank You. Look upon every child who is watching this program with tears in their eyes. Look upon those who are burdened with worry, grief, and sorrow, whose daily lives have been affected so deeply that they have lost the desire to go anywhere or even meet anyone.
As Your ambassador, I join with them in prayer and lay all their burdens at Your feet. From this moment onward, let these worries no longer bring grief to Your children. Let evil not trouble them. Let debt not burden them. Let shame no longer bring them sorrow.
Lord, just as You cared for Jabez and answered his prayer, protect each one of these children. Just as You transformed Jabez into an honourable man, do the same for them.
In the very matter that is causing them anxiety today, perform a miracle. Turn their sorrow into joy and their tears into rejoicing. May this Auspicious word be fulfilled in their lives from this very moment. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.
