Call Upon Me - Bro. T. Stephen

Beloved children of God in Christ, I greet and bless you all in the name of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I’m delighted to meet you today, July 8th, through this Auspicious word.
Psalm 50:15 tells us, “Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me.” God’s promise is that when we turn to Him first in trouble, He will run to us, perform a miracle, and deliver us. Too often, when danger comes, we rush to friends or family first. Yes, we should make efforts, but before anything else, call upon Ebenezer—the Lord who helps. Speak, “Lord, I’m in this trouble; help me.” Just as your mother or father picks up your call only after you reach out, so must we first intimate our trouble or joy to the Lord, and then inform others. This verse isn’t conditional (“if I want to, then I will deliver you”), but rather a clear promise: “Call upon Me… I will deliver you.”

What God wants us to learn from this is the habit of prayer: in every trial, interview, celebration, expectation—call Him first. Before going to a doctor, seek the Lord; miracles often happen through medicine but only because He empowers them. As Scripture says: “Paul planted, Apollos watered, but the Lord gives the increase.” Whether healing naturally or through hospital care, God must enable the outcome. Therefore, He must take first place in every situation: sickness, admissions, meetings, debt, or any need. Stand in union with Him—He will be responsible to fulfill His promises. No matter how severe the sickness or accident, He will deliver.

Testimony
Sister Evangeline Uma shares that her niece Sharon was critically ill, in ICU with only 4% blood, on a ventilator, struggling to breathe. After earnest prayer at God’s Love Ministries’ prayer tower, Sharon recovered day by day. Now she is fully restored, healthy and strong. Indeed, the Lord will do a miracle for you, too.

Prayer
Loving Lord, we thank You. I bless every child who is reading this Auspicious word. Protect them from trouble, and if trials come, give them the gift of prayer—to call upon You first. When they do, run swiftly to deliver them, honor them, and grant them victory. You are our Deliverer, Victory-Giver—deliver them from sickness, sin, shame, curses, witchcraft, debt, deceit, imprisonment, and all entanglements. Look upon those celebrating birthdays and weddings; fulfill Isaiah 54:8 in their lives this whole year.
In Jesus’ mighty name,
Amen.
