Be Anxious for nothing. - Bro. T. Stephen

I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given for you, today is from the book of   Philippians 4:6,7 “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication,   with   thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Jesus Christ.”

From the above passage we understand that we should not be anxious about anything however big the problem might seem to be,  but in everything we need to ask God in prayer and supplication. There may be many people who think wrong or evil about you, God says, such people will fall but you will rise up and stand erect because victory comes from the Lord. The glory of the Lord is upon you. Your days of sorrow has ended. And the peace of God which surpasses, all understanding will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

The Lord says, I will come and bless you in the place where  My name is glorified. Read this message with faith. You will see the glory of God. Many parents are filled with much sorrow regarding your   children about   their education and about their settlement. It is only God who can deliver you from your sorrow. Your friend may take you to a bar and get you drunk to make you happy. Or he might take you to a dance show, to make you happy.  Or you might watch a movie, but the joy is for a moment when you return back home you have  the same sorrow as before. So God wants you to reveal your sorrow to the Lord. Pour  your heart to Him because only He can solve your problem.

The Bible says, “Until now you have asked nothing, in My name.  Ask and you will receive that your joy may be full.” He is a God who fills the empty space. In the word of God we see Isaac. His mother who begot him in her old age suddenly died even before he could get married. So in order to forget his sorrow, Isaac went to the meadows and meditated in the word of God every evening. Abraham sent his servant   Eliezer to look for a bride for his son Isaac among his own people. And one day as usual while Isaac was meditating he lifted his eyes and there he saw  Rebekah dismount from her camel. Then   Isaac brought her into his mother Sarah’s tent, and he took Rebekah, and she became his wife.  And he loved her. So Isaac was comforted after his mother’s death. God replaced his mother through his wife and brought joy into his life. The Bible says, Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but when the desire comes it is a tree of life.

Prayer:

Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Lord, teach us not to be anxious about anything, but to make our request through prayer   and supplication.  Help us to rejoice in you. Let your joy fill us and let it become our strength .

 In Jesus name we pray,

Amen
