August 16, 2025
Beloved children of God in Christ, I greet and bless you in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. I am delighted to meet you on this day, August 16th, through the auspicious word. May God bless you.
In Luke 11:10, Jesus says, “For everyone who asks receives, he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.” The Lord is speaking three truths here. First, “Everyone who asks receives.” When you have needs or problems, to whom you bring them matters greatly. Our Heavenly Father is the One who provides, gives, creates, and takes care of all our needs. Yet many times, instead of asking Him, we run to people and waste time. From today onwards, before you approach anyone, bring your request to the Lord. Only then will He direct you to the right person, place, or opportunity through which your answer will come. If you go to the wrong place, nothing will happen. But when you ask God first, He will lead you to the right source, and your prayer will be answered.
Secondly, “He who seeks finds.” Perhaps you have lost something—maybe an object, maybe a spiritual blessing or experience. Instead of lamenting over the loss, first seek the Kingdom of God and His righteousness. Seek His presence and say, “Lord, I have lost this—please help me recover it.” It is God who gives wisdom to find what is lost. When Saul went searching for his father’s donkeys, it was only through the prophet Samuel’s guidance that they were found. In the same way, if you seek the Lord first, He will restore what you have lost.
Thirdly, “To him who knocks it will be opened.” Jesus said, “Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in…” (Revelation 3:20). Many times, we knock at worldly doors that cannot open for us. But the Lord holds the key of David—He alone can open doors no one can shut. From today, knock at the door of God’s heart, and He will open the way for you—whether it is a door to marriage, a job, a ministry, a business, a home, or even the blessing of children.
Let me share a testimony. A sister named Geetha from Sivagangai suffered from severe stomach pain due to recurring uterine cysts. Medicines would make the cysts disappear, but they always returned. For three years she struggled with this problem. One day, while watching the Mangala Vaarthai program, she prayed along with me. That prayer reached the presence of God, and from that day the cyst disappeared permanently. Just as the Lord removed her affliction, He will also remove your bondages and sicknesses today.
Prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father, We thank You. In the name of Jesus, I bless every child reading this word. As You promised in Luke 11:10, let everyone who has asked in prayer receive answers today. Let those who have sought Your presence find what they have lost. Let every door they have knocked at Your heart be opened. Open doors for marriages, jobs, ministries, businesses, houses, and children. Bless those celebrating birthdays and wedding anniversaries today, and according to Isaiah 41:10, let Your grace and blessings remain upon them throughout this year. In Jesus’ name,
Amen.
