Isaiah 60:1, “Arise, Shine, For your light has come. And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you”.
My dearly beloved in Christ, I greet and bless you all in the Name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. The auspicious word of the Lord is taken from the book of Isaiah 60:1, “Arise, Shine, For your light has come. And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you”.
My dear children of God, the Lord asks you this morning, to arise from your current situation. He says, ‘Arises and Shine’. Unless you get up from your fallen state you cannot shine in your life. In what have you fallen? Have you fallen into sin or into something from which you were unable to come out? Whether you have fallen in disease, in testing, in the curse, today the Lord is telling you to rise up. Get up with the little strength that you have. Then God will help you to shine in your life ‘Arise, Arise, Zion, shake off your dust and arise’.
Secondly in the verse, it is said that ‘your light has come’. To rise and shine you need the light of God to fall on you. Your light has come indicates, that your time has come for you to shine. Many of you have been crying, as to when the appointed time for you to shine would come. For those of you who are thinking as to when will a change come in my life. The Lord is saying that the time, the day for you to shine has come. In the Bible, we can see that when Jesus and his disciples along with his mother Mary had gone to attend the wedding in Cana, there was a deficiency of wine in the wedding house. His mother took the matter to the Lord Jesus Christ, then the Lord said, “My time has not come”. That means the miracle could not happen as the time had not come. But when the appointed time came the Lord immediately performed a miracle and gladdened the heart of all the guests who had come for the wedding including the host of the house. By changing the water into sweet tasty wine. So, when the light comes everything will fall in its place. Jesus the Light must come, to perform a miracle for you.
Thirdly God says, ‘the glory of the Lord will rise upon you’. Now, why should the glory of the Lord rise upon you? If the glory of the Lord falls upon you then many glorious things will happen in your life. You will secure a good job, your ministry will do well in a glorious manner. Your education will be successful. All things will happen gloriously. That Is why the glory of God should rise upon you. God will help you to conduct many good events in your family.
Prayer Dear Lord, thank you for speaking to us through the verse “Arise, Shine, For your light has come. And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you”. Lord, thank you for granting the appointed time for my children to shine. Let the glory of the Lord rise upon my children as they read this message. Honor them in everything that they do. Fulfil all their desires and meet all their needs so that my children may live glorious and healthy life.
In Jesus Name We Pray.
Amen.
