Affliction to Joy - Bro. T. Stephen

Beloved children of God in Christ, I greet and bless you all in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. I am delighted to meet you all this 20th of December through this Auspicious word. May God bless you.

Let us read Psalm 90:15: “Make us glad according to the days in which You have afflicted us, And the years in which we have seen evil.”

As we come to the end of this year, we too should place this prayer at the feet of the Lord, just as Moses did. Lord, we have faced affliction in many ways. We have seen evil, pain, and injustice in many areas of our lives. Therefore, we cry out and pray: “Make us glad according to the days in which You have afflicted us, and the years in which we have seen evil.”

According to this word, the Lord is now going to make you glad. In this joyful festive season, He will come and be seated in your heart and reign over your life. He will sit upon the throne of your heart and make the work of your hands prosper. He has planned to create a new path for you. From today onward, you should be able to say, “It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me.”

This morning of December 20th, you may say, “Until yesterday something else was ruling inside me—my struggles, my fears, or my flesh.” But today declare: “Jesus Himself reigns over me.” No matter how much you struggled or how deeply you were afflicted, in those very places the Lord will lift you up. He will make your name great, seat you with kings and princes, and glorify you.

I often say, if there is a deep pit, a great elevation will surely follow. After every downfall, there is an upliftment. For those who experienced continuous setbacks, the Lord is now bringing divine elevation. From this day onward, He will make special arrangements for your growth and progress.

According to this verse, “Make us glad according to the days in which You have afflicted us,” the season of pain is coming to an end. From today, the Lord will lead you on a joyful and victorious path.

Some of you may say, “How can I celebrate this festive season? My child is in jail. My child is missing. My husband is in prison.” If you desire to celebrate joyfully, cry out to the Lord: “Lord, redeem my husband. Lord, bring back my lost child. Lord, transform my wayward child.” In these days, wail, pray, and seek the Lord earnestly. Say, “Before these festive days end, something good must happen in my life.”

Pray boldly: “Within these days, let me receive the blessing of a child. Let my marriage be fixed. Let my life partner be confirmed. Make us glad according to the days in which You have afflicted us.” The Lord is not far away—He is close to you and dwelling within you. Keep Him in your heart, and He will reign with wisdom. Under His lordship, marriages will be settled, breakthroughs will come, and good things will take place. As you enter the new year, the Lord will help you enter with joy and celebration.

Testimony

Praise be to God!
It has been 14 years since we got married, and we were without the blessing of a child. Because of this, we faced shame, insults, and many problems. In such a situation, we participated in the January 1st, 2025 Prophetic Festival. The promise verse for that year was Zechariah 9:12. The Lord fulfilled this word in our lives. After 14 years, I conceived, and during the medical examination it was confirmed that I am carrying twins. According to the prophecy spoken by Brother Stephen, the Lord gave me a double blessing. Now I am six months pregnant.

Prayer

Loving Lord, we thank You. In the name of Jesus, I bless Your children. You are the God who fulfils every word spoken by Your mouth. Just as You ended 14 years of shame and gave double blessing to Your daughter Rebecca, bless all those watching this program beyond what they have thought, asked, or prayed for. Honour them exceedingly, Lord.

We offer millions of thanksgiving offerings for the miracles You have done and will continue to do. Even now, look upon the children who are celebrating their birthdays and wedding anniversaries today. According to this Auspicious word, be with them throughout this year and do great and mighty things.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
