Beloved children of God in Christ. I greet and bless you all in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. It is always beautiful to see how a mother comforts her child. However, this is not always the case with fathers, as they can be easily angered by their children instead of comforting them. Mothers often protect their children, even from their fathers’ anger. Likewise, today, the Lord is giving you a promise from Isaiah 66:13: “As one whom his mother comforts, so I will comfort you.” Just as a mother pampers and protects her children from anyone who tries to harm them, Jesus will console, comfort, and do good for you. He will also hide and protect you from harm.
At times, when children fail an exam, the father may be quick to anger and punish them. But the mother is always there to comfort, console, and encourage them with words of hope, assuring them that they will pass the next time. However, there are also strict mothers who are tough on their children—not out of cruelty, but out of love and concern for their well-being. Similarly, God also takes care of you like a mother.
I know a family where a 25-year-old young man suffered from kidney failure. Although many people offered to donate their kidneys, it was his mother who stepped forward first, willing to sacrifice for her son. That is a mother’s love—one that closely resembles divine love. If an earthly mother has such deep love and care for her child, how much more will our Heavenly Father love and care for His children? He is your consoler, your comforter, and the one who works miracles for you.
No matter what makes you sad or depressed today, even if there is no one beside you to care for or console you, know that the Lord is very near. He is ready to comfort, encourage, and uplift you. The Lord is saying, “It is enough! Do not remain downcast or hidden in darkness. Arise! Zion, I have given you power—stand up, run, and achieve great heights with the strength I have given you.” The Lord is blessing you to become a great achiever.
Testimony of Sister Jerusha Daniel
“My elder brother’s name is Vasudhevan, and his wife’s name is Preetha. She is three months pregnant. When the doctors examined her, they said that the child in her womb did not have proper brain development. Since this was their first child, both my elder brother and sister-in-law’s families were deeply sorrowful. In this difficult situation, we sent all the medical details to Brother Stephen via email and requested prayers. Brother Stephen prayed and replied to the email with God’s word. After receiving his response, they went to another hospital for a second opinion and took another scan. By Brother Stephen’s prayers and by God’s mercy and grace, the doctors found no problem with the child’s brain development—it had formed properly. They reassured my brother and his wife, saying, “You need not be afraid.” At a time of great sorrow, the Lord consoled my elder brother, sister-in-law, and their families through Brother Stephen’s prayers and God’s comforting word.” This is a beautiful testimony! Even today, if there is anything troubling your family—something that has stolen your peace—the Lord will perform a miracle and bring you comfort.
Prayer
Loving Lord, we thank You. As a mother comforts her child, Lord, You comfort us. For those children who are in depression, feeling abandoned with no one to console them—Lord, be their comfort. Wipe away their tears and embrace them with Your love. Enter their rooms, see their struggles, and take action on their behalf. Grant them victory over their troubles. Those who are trapped in darkness, depression, and mental distress—bring them back to peace and restore them. Transform them into honorable vessels for Your glory. Amen.
Beloved children of God in Christ. I greet and bless you all in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. The Bible says in Proverbs 13:12, “Hope deferred makes the heart sick, But when the desire comes, it is a tree of life.”
Today, many of you may be longing and waiting for something for a long time, and it may have caused you heartache. This is exactly what today’s promise reminds us of: “Hope deferred makes the heart sick.” When we do not receive what we expect or desire for a long time, our hearts begin to long for it.
For example, when a child asks their father or mother for a sweet, toy, or ball, they may start crying and become adamant. If they still do not receive what they asked for, their longing only grows stronger. Eventually, when the parents see the child’s persistence and yearning, their hearts melt, and they buy what the child has been asking for. If earthly parents have such compassion, how much more will our heavenly Father care for us?
Today, whatever you have been longing for—whatever has caused your heartache and weariness—God is ready to satisfy you with His goodness. It may be an incomplete degree due to repeated failures in exams. You may be a parent, longing for your child to complete the 10th or 12th grade, hoping to secure a job for them. Today, the Lord hears your prayers and will perform a miracle for you.
For those holding a degree but struggling to find a job, especially those desiring a government position, the Lord promises that He will provide. To those waiting for a visa, marriage, the gift of a child, or the resolution of a court case, our compassionate Lord sees your tears and the pain in your heart. Today, He will answer your prayers and grant you what you have longed for, honoring you in due time. In the coming days, you will surely witness the miraculous work of God in these matters.
Testimony from Sister Sumathi,
“Praise be to God! My sister’s name is Kalavathy, and she is 32 years old. Her marriage was continuously getting delayed. Though we made efforts for five years, no proposal seemed suitable. Relatives spoke ill of us and mocked us, saying that her marriage would never happen. Because of these challenges, our family lived in worry and sadness. I continuously sent emails to Brother Stephen, requesting prayers for my sister. Brother Stephen replied with an encouraging word. We held on to that word and prayed. By God’s mercy and through Brother Stephen’s prayers, the Lord arranged a suitable groom for my sister. Praise be to God, who blessed her with a wonderful marriage!” In the same way, are you worried about delays in marriage matters at home? Do not be discouraged—the Lord will perform a miracle for you today!
Prayer:
Loving Lord, we thank You. Lord, grant Your children the degrees, visas, and government jobs they have been longing for. Since they have waited so long, bless them with good life partners and the gift of children. Break every barrier and fulfill their hearts’ desires. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Beloved children of God in Christ. I greet and bless you all in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. The Bible says in John 8:32, “And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”
The Bible verses we meditate on daily are filled with words of truth. If you understand the truth, it will set you free. There is a difference between listening to the truth, reading the truth, and understanding the truth. Simply reading the truth without making an effort to understand it is of no use.
Therefore, you should ask yourself:
• What is God conveying to me through this verse?
• What truth is hidden in this verse?
• How is this word of truth guiding me in my walk?
If you meditate on Bible verses with such questions, you will surely understand the truth behind them, and the truth will set you free. It will free you from sin, curses, sickness, debt, and shame. You do not need to search for freedom elsewhere—just read God’s Word and seek to understand the truth. Spend time reading God’s Word to know the truth. As you continue following this “Today’s Word” message daily, the truth explained here will also set you free. Today, may the Lord give you the grace to understand the truth. May He give you the grace to seek and explore the truth. May He grant you the grace to recognize, understand, and walk in the truth. This truth will bring you the freedom you have not experienced until now.
Testimony from Brother Promod, Chennai.
“During my youth, I committed innumerable sins. Though I knew the Lord, I lived as if I did not know Him. I went to many places that were displeasing to the Lord. Because of this, the spirit of sorcery took hold of me. At night, I was unable to sleep. Without realizing it, I would cut and wound myself. I would even pull out my hair. During this difficult time, a friend told me about God’s Love Ministries Prayer Centre and brought me there. The prayer warrior prayed fervently for me, and at that very moment, the spirit of sorcery that surrounded me left me. Following the prayer warrior’s advice, I went to the prayer room at God’s Love Ministries Prayer Centre. I knelt down and began confessing my sins one by one. It was as if my past sins played before my eyes like a film. After confessing all my sins, I came out of the prayer room with a clear and sound mind. In another instance, another person also came to the prayer centre, where we counselled and prayed for him. As he knelt and prayed, all his bondages were broken, and he too came out with a sound mind. The Lord will do the same for you and set you free.
Prayer
Loving Lord, we thank You. Bless Your children who are reading this and help them grow in understanding the truth. Teach them, Lord. May the sermons in church, reading the Bible, and the lessons from this “Today’s word” be meaningful to them. Let them acknowledge, understand, and live by Your Word as a testimony to others. Free them from debt, sickness, shame, and curses. Let the truth they receive set them free and establish them in peace. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Beloved children of God in Christ. I greet and bless you all in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. The Bible says in Psalms 121: 1, “I will lift up my eyes to the hills—From whence comes my help?”
According to this verse, when we lift our eyes to the hills (heaven), we receive help from God, the Creator of heaven and earth. Today, the Lord is promising help to those who are in tears, saying, “I have no one to help me; I am alone.” To you, the heavenly government is ready and waiting to come to your aid.
To receive help from heaven, we must look upon the Lord and pray. In other words, to gain victory over all your problems, you should continuously fix your eyes on the Lord in heaven. If you have not yet received help, it may be because you have not sought heaven’s intervention. Your help will not always come from familiar people or friends—sometimes, they may even betray you. But the God of heaven will never forsake you. Our God gave His only Son, Jesus Christ, whom He loved so much, to save us. So, look to heaven and pray: “Lord, I am standing helpless in this situation. Please help me.” If you call upon Him, God will come down to any level to save and help you.
No matter your situation—whether it’s struggles with your studies, exams, forgetfulness during exams, nervousness in the exam hall, joblessness, an incomplete degree, family problems, or shame—if you pray and seek the Lord’s help, He is ready and waiting to respond to your call. Until now, you may have struggled to pray, perhaps feeling drowsy whenever you try. But today, if you kneel and call upon the Lord in prayer, He will remove all obstacles and make you a prayerful person. Surely, the Lord will help you and bring peace to your family. Remind the Lord of the things that have remained unfulfilled for a long time—today, you will begin to witness His miracles in your life.
Testimony from Sister Sangeetha
“My brother and I wrote our IT exam well, and to succeed, we sent a prayer request to Brother Stephen via email. He prayed for us and replied with Bible verses. Every day, we prayed with those verses. By the grace of God and through Brother Stephen’s prayers, we wrote our exams well. After the results, both of us scored high marks and passed with First Class. Now, the college has selected us for a higher-level examination.” This is what happens when you pray! Begin your prayer life, and you will see progress and victory. The Lord will do great things!
Prayer
Loving Lord, thank You. I pray for all those reading this promise. May their eyes always look up to heaven, and may a spirit of prayer descend upon them. Today, whatever they are desiring or asking for in Your presence, may Your eyes be open and Your ears attentive to their cries. Let a series of miracles unfold in their lives. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Beloved children of God in Christ. I greet and bless you all in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. The Bible says in Proverbs 12:12, “The root of the righteous yields fruit.”
Here in this verse, the root of the righteous denotes the children of righteous people. In Isaiah 11:1, it is mentioned as “There shall come forth a Rod from the stem of Jesse, And a Branch shall grow out of his roots.” It means that from David’s clan, through Jesse’s clan, Jesus will be born. It is a prophetic saying. The roots of the righteous will yield fruit which means the children of the righteous will yield fruits.
Today, you may be in a situation where your children, instead of yielding fruit, damage their fruits. Walking in an unwanted way, which affects the peace of your family. By their evil actions, bad speech, and illicit relationships, are you saddened in your heart? Today, tell the Lord: “Forgive me for not becoming righteous. I myself am living a miserable life, and because of that, my children also do not yield fruit. From today onwards, I decide to walk according to the gifts of the Spirit and ask You to change my children to be such a person also.”
If you pray wholeheartedly in such a way, you will surely see changes in the lives of your children. Your children who left the house will come back to you. Those children who beat their father and mother will start to take care of you. The wicked children who never stay at home will become virtuous and dwell in their homes.
Today, whatever struggles you face because of your children, submit them to the Lord and trust in Him. God will change them and make them good children. So, as parents, when we yield fruits, surely our children will also yield fruits. According to today’s promise, parents should be righteous and conduct their lives in the fear of the Lord. Surely, your children will also yield fruit, and their future will be bright.
Today, you may be thinking, “I do not have a child at all.” According to the Bible verse, “There shall come forth a Rod from the stem of Jesse, And a Branch shall grow out of his roots,” the Lord will help you bring up a good, righteous generation.
Testimony of Sis. Jeevalatha, Coimbatore.
“Near my knees, I had a black stretch mark that grew larger and turned into a wound. It became deep, almost like a hole. I also had a strange sensation on my head, as if lice were crawling, but whenever I touched my head, there were none. Because of this, I couldn’t sleep at night and was filled with fear. During this difficult time, I kept wondering when these problems would leave me. Then, Brother Jeffrin Stephen, whom we know as our little prophet, came to God’s Love Ministries prayer center in Coimbatore. The message he shared was a great blessing. After the meeting, during the individual prayer session, I shared my struggles and requested prayer. Brother spoke prophetic words over me and prayed. He also prayed over a bottle of anointing oil and gave it to me. I applied the oil on my knees and head. Within three days, the wound on my knee healed miraculously. The strange sensation on my head disappeared, and the fear within me was completely gone. Praise be to God!”
Prayer:
Loving Lord, we thank You. You said, “The root of the righteous will yield fruit.” According to Your word, let the children who are not bearing fruit begin to yield fruit in their lives. Help the parents make a firm decision today—to fear You, walk in Your ways, live righteously, follow a good conscience, and be a witness for You before their children. Let them remain steadfast in their decision so that their children may notice and begin to bear the fruits of the Spirit. I also pray for those who do not have children yet. Lord, open their wombs, bless them with the fruit of the womb, and grant them a miraculous gift. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
