Dearly beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, I greet and bless you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. The blessed word that the Lord has given for you today is from the book of Genesis 17:1-2, “When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the Lord appeared to him and said, “I am God Almighty; walk before me faithfully and be blameless. Then I will make my covenant between me and you and will greatly increase your numbers.” Abraham was a righteous and blameless man. He loved the Lord. He was called the friend of God and was known as the ‘father of faith’.
The Lord had promised Abraham that He would make him a great nation. So, Abraham patiently waited for God to bless him with an inheritance. He was seventy five years of age when God had promised him. Years passed by. He reached the age of ninety nine. God suddenly descended to meet and speak to him. That was when God fulfilled His promise.
Abraham and Sarah were broken in heart as they did not have the gift of a child. Sarah had passed the age of conceiving a child. Abraham never murmured about it. But they were distressed as they did not have a child to carry on their generation. Both of them were too old to raise a child. Sarah’s womb was closed. There was no chance to deliver a child. When every hope was lost, God descended to meet Abraham. The reason was that God does not tempt anyone beyond their capacity.
1 Corinthians 10:13 “No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear” Abraham waited for ninety nine years patiently. He had great faith that God who made a covenant will keep his covenant. God honours those who wait on Him patiently. According to His promise, God blessed Abraham with a child and he held the child in his arms at the age of 100. He called the child Isaac, as God had told him. As Abraham was blameless before God and was righteous in all his ways, the Lord blessed Abraham in an exceedingly. Isaac was the chosen inheritance of Abraham. God fulfilled the covenant that He made with Abraham and changed their sorrow into joy.
Are there long waited promises to be fulfilled in your life? You might have waited for many years and would have lost hope now. My dearly beloved, I encourage you to stand firm in faith. Faith can move mountains. There is nothing that the Lord cannot do. He has an appointed time for the fulfillment of every covenant. Just wait patiently like Abraham. The Lord will do mighty miracles in your life.

I pray that You may fulfil the covenant that You have made with Your dear children in due time. You are their only hope. Father, may Your children be glad all the days of their lives. The blessed word that the Lord has given for you today is from the book of Hebrews 11:1, “Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things unseen”. Everyone will have to go through trials and tribulations in this world. During the time of struggle, you need to have faith and a strong prayer life.
The bible says that Job was a man of faith. Job said “I have lost my wealth, my cattle and above all my children, and my flesh stinks and has become rotten, even though he slays me, I will keep trusting in Him.” His faith was unshakeable. You need to have this kind of faith. It is this faith that will lead you to a bright future. Are you worried that you are not married yet? It is this faith that will lead you to conduct your marriage. It is this faith that will open your womb that had been closed for several years and it is this faith that will lead you to reach a glorious height. Faith enables you to secure a job and will help you to close all your debts. Have faith in God. Jesus sacrificed Himself on the cross for your wellbeing.
Job lived by faith. He knew that he should walk by faith and not by sight. That is why he was able to say, “The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away.” He had immense faith in God. Therefore God turned his sorrow into joy. The Lord blessed the latter days, of Job more than his beginning.
Similarly, just like Job, you must also develop this faith on God. Even if you go through the toughest situations, do not lose your faith in God. You might be put to test. Whatever be the situation, stand firm in your faith in God. The Lord will do mighty wonders.

I pray that You may increase their faith in you. Father, I thank you for instilling the spirit of faith in Your dear children. May they walk by faith and not by sight every day of their lives. Dearly beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, I greet and bless you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. The blessed word that the Lord has given for you today is from the book of Ephesians 3:20, “Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us”.
Everyone face trials and tribulations. When some people are unable to handle their problems, they go to the extreme of ending their lives. They fail to realize that there could be at least one last option. The most common problem that they get themselves tangled in is, debt. When you are unable to afford something more than your budget, you end up borrowing. To pay back that debt, you will have to work very hard depending on how much debt you have taken. If you are unable to make up that money, you end up borrowing from another person to pay the debt. This keeps going on like a chain. If you lose hope because of debts, then the death of the Lord Jesus Christ on the cross of Calvary will become meaningless. Jesus died that you might live and He became poor that you might become rich. 3 John 2 says, “Beloved I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health just as your soul prospers”. This is God’s desire for you. God wants you to put all your burdens upon Him and He will take care of it.
I would like to share a testimony with you. While I was ministering in Sri Lanka, I met a person who was hiding himself in shame and humiliation as he had a huge debt. He had a very luxurious house but there was darkness inside. The family was filled with fear, sorrow and shame. This man had a debt of nearly seven and half crores. He was staying in his own house for rent. He said that there was no chance of closing his debts, and the only solution was to commit suicide. After sharing God’s word with him, he attended our cottage meeting that evening. He gained confidence and took me to his go-down and his factory. We made a small prayer. Later, his Co-workers and other business partners, dealers came up to him and encouraged him by supporting him in his business. They asked him to restart his business and promised to help him financially. There was a great change in the attitude of the customers and other business men. They said that he possessed good marketing and exporting capacity too. All because of his faith in Jesus, he cleared all his debts and is now one of the leading business men in town. God exalted him as he believed that Jesus and also blessed him and his family once again. God changed his sorrow into joy.
Similarly, you need to trust and have faith in the Lord. When you trust and put your burdens upon Him, He will do immeasurably more than what you expect.

Dearly beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, I greet and bless you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. The blessed word that the Lord has given for you today is from the book of Isaiah 26:3, “You will keep in perfect peace, those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you”. My beloved, God is telling you that this day forth, cling onto Him firmly. If there may be a person whom you can trust, it would be God alone.
You might have been going around for various works but would not been able to accomplish anything that you wanted to do. This is because you would not have taken Jesus along with you. Many of you will pray earnestly till you get your work done. Once it’s done, you tend to slide back from the Lord. This is when you face downfalls in what you want to accomplish.
I would like to share with you a testimony. There was a young man who had finished his studies and did not have a job for quiet many years. He attended many interviews but faced failure after failure. He came to me and told his problem. I prayed for him and broke the powers of bondage upon his life and sent him. In a few days, God opened a way for him. He was called for an interview. Before he could go for the interview, he asked Jesus to go along with him. He got selected and also got the offer letter the very same day. They told him to wait for some time till they send the joining letter. He was amazed that he got the job. In that excitement, he left Jesus in the same place and went to tell his friend the good news. He waited eagerly for the joining letter for six months. Later he came to me to pray. God revealed what took place. Then he cried and repented for what he had done. From that moment on, he took Jesus along with him. In a few days, he got his joining letter as well.
My dearly beloved, when you take Jesus along with you and involve Him in all your works, all that you do will surely prosper. You will be successful. But if you leave Jesus, without your knowledge, everything will start to topple. God should be the center of your life. You will reach great heights.

But they would not have known that the secret to their success is You. They might have left you behind. Father, I pray that Your children may take You along with them wherever they may go. Dearly beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, I greet and bless you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. The blessed word that the Lord has given for you today is from the book of 2 Kings 18:6-7, “He held fast to the Lord and did not stop following him; he kept the commands the Lord had given Moses. And the Lord was with him; he was successful in whatever he undertook”. As Ezekiel followed the commandments that the Lord gave to Moses, he has success in all that he undertook.
Many of you go towards your work with a hope that you will have success in all that you do. You might have got an unfavorable reply. As a result, you would have become broken hearted and would have lost all hopes. God has seen all your fears and failures. He is going to bring you out of all your struggles.
To have success in all that you do, you need to do two things. Firstly, you should not back slide from God. Secondly, you need to be a person who depends on God for all your needs. The bible tells us about the story of Samson. He was truthful and faithful in the sight of God. During the days when he depended of God for all his needs, all that he did prospered. He was a very strong man. There was no one who dared to stand before Samson because he had Jesus with him. But when the time he slid back from God and indulged himself in unrighteous activities, the presence of God departed from him. Because he deviated from the presence of God, everything that he did was unfavorable to him. Till that moment, his strength was God being with him. The book of Psalms 119:67 says, “Before I was afflicted I went astray”. When Samson went away from the presence of God, he faced many afflictions.
If you have gone away from the Lord and have done anything that displeases the Lord, turn from all your wrong doings. My dearly beloved, today you need to take a decision. Tell the Lord that you need favor in all that you do and repent for all your wrong doings. When you pray such a prayer, God will surely do everything in favor of you. If you wish to lead a successful life, bring an end to the days when you depended on man for everything. Keep God as your center and give Him your first priority. The Lord will be with you and will lift you up.
