My Dear Brothers and Sisters, I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that
My Dear Brothers and Sisters, “Blessed be to God” is an ascription of praise and glory to God. God is exceedingly merciful. He delights in showing mercy to poor and miserable people, and is rich and plenteous in exercising His mercy. Not only is our God merciful but He is a God of spiritual comfort. Whatever comfort or consolation the saints enjoy comes directly from God, the Father of Christ.
My dear Brothers and Sisters, Jesus says, I will not leave you as orphans. I will come to You. God comforts us in all our tribulation that we may be able to comfort those who are in trouble. Just as Job was tested, sometimes God allows you to go through trials and temptation. And through this God wants you to trust and rely on Him for all your needs. Therefore you need to fix your eyes on Jesus the author and finisher of your faith. Thus we are encouraged to come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy. And find grace to help in time of need. The Lord is able to give peace to the troubled conscience and to calm the raging passions of the soul.
It is the nature of God to look after His people. That is why we call Him , ”Our Father”. Our God heals the broken hearted and binds up their wounds. Apostle Paul had been aware of how God had helped him while he was almost at the verge of death, while ministering in Asia, in Macedonia and other places. In all these experiences Paul realised that God was constantly with him, to help him and support him. During these difficult experiences, Paul saw that God was using him to help other people too.
Dear Brothers and Sisters, God can use you also for His purpose. God will bring many people into a right relationship with Himself through you. Through Paul’s work God was making other brethrens much stronger. They very much needed the strength and courage that only God can give. If you depend on God then God will be your refuge and strength. A very present help in trouble. The God of Jacob will be your refuge. God comforted , Mary and Martha over the death of Lazarus. The Lord prepared a plant and made it come up over Jonah , that it might be shade for his head to comfort him from his misery. And Jonah was very grateful for the plant. This is how God comforts His children. David says, This is my comfort in my affliction, for your word has given me life. God will comfort you also in a similar way.
May the Lord bless you.
Prayer:
Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Thank you Lord for comforting us through your word. Lord you heal the broken hearted and bind up their wounds especially when your children go through sufferings. We do realize that You comfort those in distress. Help us also to comfort others.
In Jesus name we pray.
Amen
My Dear Brothers and Sisters, I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given for you today is from the book of Leviticus 26:6, ” I will give peace in the land — and sword will not go through your land”.
Dear Brothers and Sisters, From the above context we learn that, God cares for His people and promises that there would be no war in their land. Our God is a peace loving God. He is not the author of confusion but of peace. The sword of the enemy shall not prevail into your land and destroy the inhabitants of it. God says, “Do not fear them for the Lord your God is the one fighting for you”. The Lord your God will cause your enemies who rise against you to be defeated before you. They shall come out against you in one way and flee before you in seven other ways. It was not by their sword that they won the land, nor did their arm bring them victory. But it was the right hand of God that saved them because He loved them.
My dear Brothers and
He said “ I heard that food is being supplied after the fasting prayer meeting. So I came here to have one good meal as I did not have any way for food.”’But the spiritual food that he received in the prayer meeting was so good that all his hunger, poverty and his hopeless situation vanished away even before the food was served after the meeting. He regained confidence and received life within him.
He held on to the words that I spoke and went back home. By the abundant grace of God he got a good job, and now he is doing very well. He said, “I am now earning hand full. ” Both he and His wife began to call me Father , Father, and they began to kiss my hands, they did not wish to leave me. He further said, I came to this meeting in search of the Lord, and the Lord has blessed us with great wealth. Now I can lend money to many people to clear others debts. The Lord has blessed us with our own house.”
Dear Brothers and Sisters, this is how God works miracles for those who believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. Today is your turn. God will not send sword to destroy you, rather He will honour you. The hands of the Lord will come upon you boldly such that your hope in Him will not go in vain. The Bible says You will lie down and no one will make you afraid. Because no debtors will stand at the front of your house. You will sleep in peace. A sword is used only when you fight with others. The sword represents all kinds of weapons used in the warfare. Such weapons will never again pass through you , but the Lord will bring an end to the use of all these weapons. When God sets His eyes upon you then your financial problems will change and your business will flourish. The Lord will fight for you and you will remain still. You will sleep well in your homes and there will be peace within your walls. You shall know that your tent is in peace. You shall visit your habitation and find nothing amiss.
God bless you.
Prayer:
Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Thank you Lord for your hand of protection that constantly protects us from all danger and harm. We pray that you would bring an end to all the weapons of warfare that trouble us at times . Help us to sleep in peace and not be afraid of our enemies. May we lend and not borrow from others. Teach us to gain confidence in You and live a life of peace and harmony. In Jesus name we pray.
Amen.
My Dear Brothers and Sisters, I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given for you today is from the book of Leviticus. 26:4, 6, “ I will send you rain in its season, and the ground will yield its crops and the trees their fruit. And you will eat all the food you want and live in safety in your land. I will grant peace in the land, and you will lie down and no one will make you afraid. I will remove wild beasts from the land, and the sword will not pass through your country”.
My dear brothers and Sisters, from the above context we understand, that the Lord is so concerned about His children. He promises to send rain in due
My dear brothers and sisters, in the same manner God wants to give you peace and help you lie down peacefully. But for this you need prosperity in life. So He wants to bring about an increase in your income, your business and ministry this year . Rain indicates prosperity. The Lord who said, that He will pour out rain in its season will pour out a great rain upon your life. The Lord will give you a blessing in your education, in your career, in your relationship, in your business, in your health and in all spheres of your life. The Lord is going to give you such a blessing as never before. Our God, is a God who fulfils by His hand, all that He has spoken by His mouth. And since the sight of the Lord is upon you, day and night you shall lack nothing. Hallelujah!
To illustrate this, I would like to explain about a brother who came to the Anbarin Padhathil Oru Naal. They did not have sufficient money for both of them to come to the meeting. So this brother alone came to the meeting without his wife. I prayed for him saying, that he will have a bright future. I said, “The Lord will bring forth a spring for you”. He held, on to these words. The very next day he was called by his friend to do a mason’s job. He took it up cheerfully. He earned some amount. He was so happy. Gradually because of his sincerity the local people in that area slowly engaged him with all kinds of construction work and soon he became a rich man. He built his own house and was able to educate his child. God totally changed his situation. God will bring a change in your life too. For He is the same yesterday, today and forever. Just believe in Jesus. He knows all your needs. The Lord is good, a refuge in times of trouble. He cares for those who trust in Him.
God bless you.
Prayer:
Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Lord we thank you for keeping a watch over us. Lord we know that you will never put us to shame. But you will send the rain and increase us on every side. Be gracious toward us, for you set on high those who are lowly. And those who mourn are lifted to safety. Awake for us and prosper our rightful habitation. In Jesus name we pray.
Amen.
My dear Brothers and sisters in Christ, I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given you for today is from the book of Genesis 50:20, “You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives”.
Dear Brothers and Sisters, Joseph was a unique character in the Bible. Joseph held on to God firmly. Joseph was the most loved son of Jacob. His brothers were jealous of him so they threw him into the pit. Later they sold him to the merchants as a slave. The brothers told his father that a wolf had eaten him up and Jacob was in great sorrow. Jacob mourned for his son many days. There in Egypt Joseph was purchased by Potipher an Egyptian Officer. Potipher trusted Joseph the Hebrew, much.
In Potipher’s house, he was appointed as the head man. Potipher’s wife desired to be intimate with him. But Joseph continuously refused to oblige to her request. He said, “’How can I do this great wickedness and sin against God? “ One day, she grasped his garment. But Joseph slid out of his clock and ran outside. He ran away from committing sin. This self control earned him the appellation , Joseph the righteous. Potipher’s wife accused him falsely, as a result, Joseph was thrown into the prison though he did not do any wrong. Yet he patiently endured the sufferings. Even in the prison he was made the head man. He never lost his faith in the God of Israel. In the prison he found favor in the eyes of the warden. Along with him the kings cup bearer and baker were imprisoned . They had dreams while they were in the prison. Joseph interpreted their dreams. According to his interpretation, the butler returned-to the kings palace within three days. But the chief baker was hanged just as Joseph had interpreted.
Two years later, king Pharaoh had a dream and Joseph was summoned, to the palace by Pharaoh. So from the prison he was taken to the palace. He was asked to interpret the dreams the butler had reminded the king of a young Hebrew man who had interpreted his dream. Joseph said to Pharaoh, “Iris not in me; God will give Pharaoh an answer of peace. There in the palace Joseph interpreted what God had revealed to him , that was about to happen in Egypt. The Pharaoh said to his servants can we find such a one as this, a man, in whom is the spirit of God? And Pharaoh said to Joseph ”See I have set you over all the land of Egypt.” Impressed by Joseph’s wisdom, Pharaoh appointed Joseph as the governor, of Egypt next to King himself.
Dear brothers and sisters , Thus we see how Joseph , from a prison, was exalted to the post of a governor. He married the daughter of Potipherah, a priest. He was blessed with two sons, Manasseh and Ephraim. God exalts those that humble themselves. Even though Joseph was hurt and envied by his brothers, he never rebelled against them? Instead he provided food for the entire family of his father Jacob during famine, when they came to Egypt for settlement. He told his brothers, God sent me before you to preserve a posterity for you in the earth, and to save your lives. They schemed evil for him but God turned it for his good. God changed his sorrow into joy.
God bless you.
Prayer:
Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Lord we thank you for revealing to us the greatness of being humble in our lives. Teach us to be like Joseph who in spite of being hated by his brothers still continued to hold on to Jesus. He never retorted with his brothers instead he forgave them of their mistake. Help us to continue in faith and hold on to Jesus all the days of our life. In Jesus Name we pray.
Amen.
My Dear Brothers and Sisters, I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given for you today is from the book of Hebrews 13:5 , “Let your conduct be without covetousness and be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”
My dear Brothers and Sisters, from the above context we learn that our conversation should be without, covetousness. For it is an immoderate desire of riches and being over anxious for worldly things. And not being in any way useful to others. Rather being self orient. Instead of making use of one’s talent for the glory of God, they engage themselves in laying up treasures for a man’s own self. This is a very great evil. A believer’s conversation should be seasoned with grace. Godly people are expected to deal uprightly.
Secondly be content with such things as you have. A true child of God should be content with such things as they have, may be present losses, burdens, present reproaches and afflictions, and showing contentment with these things, shows your gratitude for every mercy that God has shown to you, and your ultimate submission to God.
Thirdly , He has said, “I will never leave thee nor forsake thee.” This is a promise that God made to Joshua, and this belongs to all the believers. “As I was with Moses so I will be with you.” That is why David says, “I have been young, and now am old. Yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken nor his descendants begging bread.” God will not leave them to themselves, nor will he leave them, destitute of his presence. For though He sometimes hides his face and withdraws himself, yet not wholly will he forsake His children.
My dear Brothers and Sisters, the above context assures you of Gods awesome providence and His mighty arm of protection. The above verse expresses his good counselling to the church of the Hebrews. He instructs them with a view that they might not be forsaken by God. What God really expects of you is to be content, with what you have, and to be thankful, to God for all that he has blessed you with.
Today we find that many are dissatisfied with what they have. But the Bible says, Godliness with contentment is great gain. Godliness is a God centred life. Dear Brothers and Sisters are you God centred? Are you focused on things pertaining, to God and His kingdom? Then the Lord will bless you with all the things of this world. Good health, good job, wealth and prosperity. For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro, throughout the whole earth. To show Himself, strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him.
God bless you.
Prayer:
Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Thank you for teaching us to be content with what we have. Help us to be God centred. And be focused on the things of God rather than worldly things. Teach us to be loyal to God and those around us. You are a God who has not forsaken us. We thank you Lord for your eyes that watch over us and for supporting those who are loyal to You. In Jesus name we pray.
Amen.
