My Dear Brothers and Sisters, I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given for you today is from the book of Zechariah 4:6, ” Not by might, nor by power, but by the spirit, says, the Lord”. This is the word of the Lord to Zerubabbel.
In order to explain the meaning of the vision, the word of the Lord came to Zerubabbel. God wanted him to build, the temple of God not through the multitude and strength of men, but through the spirit of God. The temple represented the church and Zerubabbel to that of Christ. He was chosen by God, made a signet, and was precious to Him. Similarly Christ is chosen of God who has redeemed and delivered his people from the captivity of sin and bondage. God expected a transformation in man. He expects a new man, resurrection from the dead which require not the will of man nor of the will of the flesh but of God. And faith in Christ comes from God and He performs the work of faith with power.
My Dear Brothers and Sisters, Does this power remain in you? Have you experienced the power of the Holy Spirit ? The Bible says, But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you, and you will be my witness in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to all the earth.
God says, I will pour out My Spirit, on all flesh, your sons and daughters shall prophesy. Your old men will dream dreams, young men shall see visions. The Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send will teach you everything. When people finished praying the place where they were meeting was shaken because they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to proclaim Gods message with boldness. God has poured out the Holy Spirit abundantly on us through Jesus Christ. Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. Old things have passed away, behold all things have become new. But when that which is perfect has come, then that which is in part will be done away. Today God wants to pour out His spirit, upon you. Are you ready to receive? When the spirit of God comes upon your children they will turn away from all their wrong doings. God will change the heart and mind of those who humiliated and put you to shame. Once you receive the holy spirit, you will receive the deliverance from every unpleasant situation. Where the spirit of the Lord is there is liberty. So receive the spirit of God and you will be set free.
God bless you.
Prayer:
Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Lord grant the Holy Spirit to us that we may receive the power of God. And we will be able to display the power of God in our lives among others. Help us to realize the goodness of the Holy Spirit and walk by faith and fear of the Lord. In Jesus name we pray.
Amen.
Dearly beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, I greet and bless you all in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. As I waited upon the Lord, the blessed word that the Lord gave me to bless you today is from the book of Genesis 46:2, “And God spoke to Israel in a vision at night and said, “Jacob! Jacob!” “Here I am,” he replied.“I am God, the God of your father,” he said. “Do not be afraid to go down to Egypt, for I will make you into a great nation there.”
Jacob was thinking as to why God called him at that time of the night. When God appeared to Jacob, He told him to go to Egypt as good news awaited him. When Jacob went to Egypt, he saw his son Joseph placed at a high position in Egypt. God fulfilled the promise in the life of Joseph.
Today is the day that the Lord is going to change all your worries concerning your children into joy. You might have been thinking that there has not been much connection between you and your children for quite a while. You might be worried about the well-being of your children. My beloved, the Lord says that, He has been in the process of fulfilling all the promises He gave to you about your child so far. God will bless your children and take them to great heights.
Our God is a Promise keeping God. He is the father of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Our God is the same yesterday, today and forever. The Lord will fulfil the promises He has given to you. Be of good cheer.
God Bless You.
Prayer:
Our Loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. I pray that You may bless Your dear children. Father, fulfil all the promises that You have given to Your children and prosper them. In Jesus Name we pray,
Amen.
My Dear Brothers and Sisters, I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given for you today is from the book of Ruth 2:12, “May the Lord repay you for what you have done. May You be richly rewarded by the Lord, the God Of Israel, under whose wings you have come to take refuge.”
My dear Brothers and Sisters, from the above context we come to know that Ruth had performed a good service towards her mother in law and our God is not, unrighteous to forget the work and labor of love that she had extended to her mother in law. She was willing to sacrifice her prime of life for the sake of her mother in law. So instead of returning back to her father’s house, she decided to cling on to her mother in law. She said to her, “ Wherever you go I will go. And wherever you lodge I will lodge, Your people shall be my people, And your God my God.”
Ruth was not rewarded because of compulsory, but of grace. Because of the fullness of joy, peace, and happiness and abundance of good things. Since Ruth was willing to serve Naomi, and thereby decided to go to the fields and glean heads of grain in the fields of her master Boaz, she found favor in his sight. God had a plan for her, in taking her to Bethlehem along with Naomi. Hence she found favor in the sight of Boaz, though she was a foreigner, a Moabite woman who came back with Naomi from the country of Moab. So Boaz spoke the above words as words of comfort to her. May the Lord repay you for what you have done. May You be richly rewarded by the Lord, the God Of Israel, under whose wings you have come to take refuge. Indicating that she had come under the shelter of the God of Israel, Or in other words, she had come under the refuge of Boaz the rich landlord.
My dear Brothers and Sisters have you made such a good decision in your life, regarding your spouse or other family members who were badly in need. For God watches over you when you take a decision. The decision you make must satisfy the heart of God. When you make the right decision you will be able to maintain peace within you and your family.
God bless you.
Prayer:
Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. O Lord teach us to help those who are badly in need of help. God give us the wisdom to handle every problem wisely. May the decision we take be acceptable in Your sight. Reward us O Lord according to Your mercy, the work of our hand. In Jesus name we pray.
Amen.
My Dear Brothers and Sisters, I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given for you today is from the book of Genesis 7:1 , The Lord then said to Noah, “ Go into the ark, you and your whole family, because I have found you righteous in this generation.”
Dear Brothers and Sisters, from the above context we see how God protected Noah and his family. God acknowledged Noah as righteous person. By the deeds of the law, no flesh living shall be justified. Noah found favor in the sight of God. There was none so righteous besides him in that wicked generation and he was very remarkable. Noah was a rare instance of this character. It was a blessing to him as he was righteous, in such a corrupt period. During the time of Noah people sinned against the Lord. They drank and gave their children in marriage to ungodly people. They were altogether wicked.
God therefore chose such a righteous person not only to build an ark but also to enter into the ark. God purposed in his heart to protect Noah and his family from the floods. Noah not only trusted in God, but also obeyed God in building the ark as he was instructed by God. Even the length and breadth of the ark, the design and pattern of the ark was instructed by the Lord. And he built the ark accordingly. God was so pleased with him and his workmanship. Because of Noah his family was blessed.
My Dear Brothers and Sisters, Are you walking in faith like Noah. He had never seen rain in all the days of his life. Yet He believed that God would send rain. Are you righteous before God in all that you do? If so, then God will protect you. Noah lived in a land surrounded with evil and sinful people. Yet he proved righteous before God. So God Himself sent them into the ark and locked the door, so that no one else could enter the ark.
Dear Brothers and Sisters , When you find favor in the sight of God, then God Himself, will put you in the cleft of the rock and hide you with his hands. Since you are so precious in his sight, He will not destroy you, but save you from the disaster to come. The Lord will be your shield and buckler. He will put a wall of fire around you and protect you and your family.
God bless you.
Prayer:
Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Lord help us to find favor in your sight, just as Noah found favor. God teach us to be righteous in our daily life. Just as mercy and truth meet each other help us to be honest and truthful in all our ways. Guard us and protect us as You protected Noah and his family. Thank You Lord for answering our prayer. In Jesus name we pray.
Amen.
My Dear Brothers and Sisters, I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given for you today is from the book of Psalm 16 : 8, ” I have set the Lord always before me, Because He is at My right hand, therefore I shall not be moved. “
Dear Brothers and Sisters from the above context, we clearly see the Psalmist hope of immortal life. His very act of holding on to God, confirms his faith and assurance in Him. The Psalmist says, I have set the Lord always before me, and further says, In His presence is fullness of joy and in His right hand there are pleasures for ever more. He believes in the God of the Universe. Psalmist has set the Lord always before his face. He is confident that he will not be shaken. He is capable of facing any challenges in life.
Dear Brothers and Sisters , God is ever by our side. But we may be very far from Him. Psalmist has kept the Lord always, in his sight, right before his face. And so he is able to look at Him, and be calm and reposed. Therefore He is blessed.
If you allow the world, and wealth and business and ambitions and cares and family responsibilities and jostle and hustle, God will be out of your mind, and hearts then you cannot, enjoy the presence of God in your life. God is blazing there in front of us but unless we set ourselves to it we shall never see Him. You have to look at the face of the Lord to see the things that are unseen and eternal.
Jehovah the Father, is the object which Christ set before him, and kept looking unto Him during the course of His life here on earth. He always had an eye on His father regarding His will, His orders, and commands and counsels and this encouraged Him. ( Jesus ) in all His difficulties. And most distressed circumstances.
Dear Brothers and Sisters, Have you set the Lord always before you? Have you kept your eyes focused on Him. Are, you looking at the perishable things of this world which seem to be so enticing and more attractive than the unseen things in heaven . Set your minds on things above and not on things that are on the earth. Those who love the things of this world, cannot please God. The Bible says, If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in them. Therefore love not the world, neither the things that are in the world.
God bless you.
Prayer:
Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Lord help us to focus our eyes upon the Living God. Teach us to keep God always before us. So that we may not be shaken. Help us to set our minds on things above and not, on worldly things. In Jesus name we pray.
Amen.
