Your Great faith

My Dear Brothers and Sisters, I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given for you today is from the book of Mark 5:25-29, ‘And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years,  And had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse, When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment. For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole. And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague.”

My Dear Brothers and Sisters, From the above context we come across an unnamed woman who had an issue of blood for 12 long years. She had spent all her money, now she was penniless. She was disappointed and frustrated. It seemed that none could help her. Even the disciples couldn’t help her. They didn’t know what her problem was all about. She had suffered a lot under the care of the medical doctors. She believed not only Him but had faith that touching even His clothes would provide healing from disease. She touched the hem of His garment. Through this wonderful encounter she was instantly healed of her long standing sickness. She was also blessed with deep sense of inner peace. The flow of blood stopped suddenly due to the power of Jesus. But no one else including the disciples recognized what had happened. Though the woman feared yet she boldly presented herself to Jesus to reveal the whole truth. After being healed, She could have escaped from the crowd. But she understood the intense look of Jesus.

There are times man can’t help us. Only God is able to meet our deepest needs. Jesus knew who had touched Him. But He wanted her public confession. Christ addressed her as Daughter. He accepted her as a member of God’s family even though she was impure. However unclean you might be, God is ready to accept you as you are. For God says, All you that labour and are heavy laden come unto Me and I will give you rest. My dearly Beloved, the healing power of Jesus is coming into your homes right now, Do receive His mighty power and His virtue that is being released upon you. You shall not only be healed of your disease but you shall receive an inner healing of the mind and soul. So Receive Jesus and be healed.

God bless you.

Prayer:

Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Thank you Lord, for healing us of our disease. Thank you for removing our transgressions from us. We realize that you are merciful to those who fear you. You know our need and therefore you bless us according to our needs. Help us to be bold in admitting our mistake and our helpless situation. In Jesus name we pray.

Amen.

God of truth and Justice

My  Dear  Brothers and Sisters, I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus  Christ our Lord.  The blessed word  that God has  given  for  you  today  is  from the book of  Genesis 22: 8,  And Abraham said, “My son, God will provide for Himself the lamb, for a burnt offering”.

My dear Brothers and Sisters, Today we find that love has grown cold among the members of many families. Parents fail to trust their children.  Children fail to respect their parents. There is a lot of misunderstanding among the siblings. Some children keep a distance from their parents. Some parents rebuke their children so rudely that leads them to commit suicide.  Husbands fail to love their wives, and suspect them for no reason. God will never be pleased with such people.

Children should obey their parents for this is right in the sight of the Lord. Fathers should not provoke their children to wrath. Husbands must love their wives and they in return need to respect and be submissive to their husbands. Your hope and trust with one another should never be shaken. Only then can true love be experienced with one another, and there will be peace joy and harmony in the family.

My dear Brothers and Sisters, we see such a wonderful relationship between Abraham and his son Isaac. God blessed Abraham with a son in his old age and he called him Isaac. The child grew up. God wanted to test Abraham. So one day he asked him to sacrifice his only son Isaac on Mt. Moriah.  Immediately Abraham obeyed Gods word and prepared himself and his son for the journey. He took along with him two young men.  He carried wood for  the  burnt  offering  and went to the place which God had told him. Trust in life is very important. Isaac had great faith  in his father Abraham. He  was quite young, he did not know that his father was going to sacrifice him as a burnt offering. Standing at the foothills of Mt Moriah he spoke to his father, and said, “Look the fire and the wood, but where is the lamb for offering?’’ Abraham said,  to the lad, “God will provide for himself, the lamb for burnt offering.” Abraham built an altar and bound his son and laid him on the altar upon the wood. In all this Isaac never hesitated or made a hue and cry over the situation. Instead he obeyed his father. He had great faith in his father, just as Abraham had great faith in his  God. Even though he prepared himself to offer his only son Isaac, he knew that God would replace his son. For it was  a trivial thing for the Lord who gives life to the dead, and calls those things which do not exist as though they did. He never questioned his father. But trusted  his father. He knew that there will be a  good reason behind anything that his father does. Even while he was bound by cords and laid on the wood he never ever attempted to jump down or escape. He freely offered himself at the mercy of his father. He believed that his father always, did only good to him. When Abraham stretched out his hand and took the knife to slay his son,  the angel of the Lord said unto him “Do not lay your hand on the lad. I know you fear God, for you have not withheld your only son.” Abraham found a ram behind a bush,  so he took the ram and offered it up for a burnt offering.

Thus we see from this incident that God will provide your needs in a marvellous manner. For He says, “I will show them marvellous things.” For God does wonders beyond numbers. He does great things and unsearchable, Marvellous things without number.  Even in the midst of difficulties God will meet all your needs. God will execute justice for you. He will bring you forth to the light.

God bless you.

Prayer:

Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day.  Lord thank you for teaching us the importance of being obedient to God.  Teach us to endure patiently what God has bestowed upon us. May we learn to be like Isaac who trusted his father Abraham.  Lord let not our hope and trust among our dear and near ones be ever shaken.  In Jesus name we pray.

Amen.

God will honour you

My Dear Brothers and Sisters, I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given for you today is from the book of Hebrews 6:19 , “This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast”.

My Dear Brothers and Sisters , The Bible says, therefore let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering for He is faithful that promised and let us consider one another and encourage others unto love and good works.

My dear Brothers and Sisters, The Bible refers to Caleb who was one such person, who hoped that God would keep His promise which he swore to Moses regarding Caleb His servant. The Bible says, But My servant Caleb, because he had another spirit within him and has followed Me fully, I will bring into the land where he went and his descendants shall inherit it. Caleb was an obedient and truthful young man. God who saw his obedience and his truthfulness promised to give him the land which he asked for, when he set his foot in the land of Canaan. Caleb received these words through Moses. God had blessed Caleb since he was a true Israelite, who followed the Lord in truthfulness.

We see that Moses had sent twelve men from each tribe to spy out the land of Canaan. Out of the twelve men only Joshua, and Caleb brought good report from the land. They said, The land of Canaan truly flows with milk and honey. And they showed the people the cluster of grapes which they carried on a pole. They also brought pomegranates and figs from the valley of Eshcol. The Lord was pleased with Caleb. He told Moses that he would never find a person like Caleb. God was impressed with Caleb as he was honest and genuine. So God decided to honour him. As soon as they entered Canaan Joshua did what the Lord had promised Moses. He gave the mountainous land Hebron to Caleb as a gift for his loyalty to God.

My Dear Brothers and Sisters, God who is faithful in His promise will also fulfil your heart’s desire. All you need to do is to be obedient to God and have faith that God will help you to possess the land ( reward of any kind ) which He has promised. A promotion in your job, settlement in life or the fruit of your womb, deliverance from fear, from sorcery and witch craft, from sickness and disease. May be you are caught up in huge debts and unable to get out of it, whatever might be your problem, God is able to deliver you from your problems and possess what He has kept in store for you.

God bless you.

Prayer:

Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Lord thank you for making us to understand as to how we need to go about in this world. Teach us to be like Caleb a man with a different spirit. Bless us Lord as You blessed Caleb with good portion of land. May we inherit the goodness of God in the land of the living. And be grateful to you. In Jesus name we pray.

Amen.

God of Truth

My Dear Brothers and Sisters, I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given for you today is from the book of Habakkuk. 2:3, “The Lord has kept a vision, for an appointed time; it will speak at the end. It will not lie. Though it tarries wait for it. Because it will surely come. It will not tarry.”

My dear brothers and sisters, the Lord who promised is faithful. He is a God of truth. God is not a man, that He should lie, or a son of man that He should repent. The Bible speaks of Joseph, who had a vision at a very early age. He was his parent’s favourite child, because he never lied, nor did he do any wrong. Therefore his parents had an unconditional love for him. Seeing his good nature, the Lord gave him a vision, at the age of seventeen. Joseph had a vision, and he told his brothers. He said, “There we were binding sheaves in the field. Then suddenly his sheaf arose and also stood upright. And your (brothers) sheaves stood all around and bowed down to my sheaf.” The second dream was that, “The Sun, Moon, and the eleven Stars bowed down to me.” He knew the interpretation of his dreams. All this indicated that one day Joseph would be elevated above all the members of his family. And they would bow before him. He had the grace to understand dreams. When his brothers heard this, they all became jealous of him. As a result he had to go through great affliction because of his brothers. Through it all, he knew that the ONE who gave him the vision was truthful.

For over thirteen years he faced problems after problems; but he never lost his hope in God. There in Egypt Joseph worked under Potiphar. He became furious when he heard his wife’s story about how Joseph had treated her. So he took Joseph and threw him into the prison for no fault of his. When he was thirty years of age, his vision came to pass. There was a famine in the land of Canaan. And so the sons of Jacob came to Egypt in search of food. Joseph being the governor of Egypt supplied them with food and grains. All his brothers bowed before him. They meant evil for him but God made him a blessing. Joseph said to them, “Do not be afraid, for I am in the place of God.” Joseph took good care of his father Jacob in his old age and his brothers also. Thus God exalted Joseph because he was truthful. God honoured him in that strange land.

My dear Brothers and Sisters, God wants to honour you also. But he expects you to be honest and truthful to Him. Trust in God just as Joseph trusted him. Even during times of affliction Joseph never grumbled against God. He knew that the one who gave him the vision was able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think. Never lose your hope in God. You will not only receive the blessing of God but you shall see the glory of God.

God bless you.

Prayer:

Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Lord we thank you for revealing to us the goodness of Joseph. Teach us also to be like him. To endure affliction patiently and to wait upon the Lord for the fulfilment of the vision in our life. May we be obedient to our parents like him. Help us to obtain blessing and be elevated in our life like Joseph. In Jesus name we pray.

Amen.

God who promised is faithful

My Dear Brothers and Sisters, I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given for you today is from the book of Hebrews 10:23, “Let us hold fast the confession of our hope, without wavering. For He who promised is faithful”.

My dear Brothers and Sisters, The Bible Says, For He is faithful that promised. It says, that all the promises of God in Him are yes and in Him Amen to the glory of God. And all the promises of God shall be made good to us if we continue steadfast in Him. We see that during the times when Jesus lived on this earth the Apostles had great hope of eternal life. They had an undoubted right to hope for the heavenly inheritance. The way and means by which Christians enjoy such privileges is by the blood of Jesus, by the merit of that blood, which he offered up as an atoning sacrifice. The son Of God was wounded and bruised for our sins. Believers are to consider how they can be of service to each other especially stirring up each other to the more vigorous, and abundant exercise of love and practice of good works.

My dearly Beloved Brothers and sisters, God is going to give you new opportunities this month for you and your children. Our God is impartial. He who promised is truthful. I have tasted and enjoyed the truthfulness of God in my life. My eyes were flooded with tears, when I looked back at the roads I travelled and looking at the fulfilment of every word that the Lord gave to me all through my life. Just as God fulfilled his promise to me in my life, God will surely fulfil his promises to you if only you revere His name. Then the Sun of Righteousness shall arise with healing in its wings. And you shall go out, and grow fat like stall fed calves. Balaam said, to the people of Israel, “I have received a command from heaven to bless you.”

Hence the blessings with which he blessed the people of Israel came to pass. The appropriate words that God gives to His children are like the apples of gold, kept in the silver plates. You must have trust in your life. You should trust your parents who begot you. Husband need to trust his wife. In return a wife must trust her husband. Parents must trust their Children. Only then you will find harmony and peace in your life and your family. A man without trust will be like the paper that is swept away by the wind, Similarly your life also will soon vanish away and you will not know where it is gone. We must have trust in life. There is trust worthy in Lord Jesus Christ, who can give us trust. He will take care of all your difficulties. God will never throw you into the sea, and watch you drown. Instead He will throw you into the sea so that you will swim back, become strong and you will achieve greater things in life. Because of this you will face several problems. And that will be the time when you will see the Lord lift you up your hand. He will cause His face to shine on you. He will be merciful to you and deliver you from all your problems. He will show you His marvellous kindness. For in His presence there is fullness of joy. And at His right hand there are pleasures for evermore.

God Bless you.

Prayer:

Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Thank you Lord for teaching us to trust one another. We rejoice in God because He has blessed us with all heavenly blessings. We do realize that problems come in our life, in order that You will reveal your greatness to us and help us to become strong in life. May we speak the right words and encourage others. In Jesus name we pray.
Amen.
