Dearly beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, I greet and bless you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. The blessed word that the Lord has given for you today is from the book of Mark 10:47- 49, “When he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to shout, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!” Many rebuked him and told him to be quiet, but he shouted all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!” Jesus stopped and said, “Call him.” So they called to the blind man, “Cheer up! On your feet! He’s calling you.”
Today, I would like to introduce to you a person who respects and helps the beggars and the poor people whom others make fun of. He is my Lord Jesus Christ. He is willing to bless all the people of this Earth. Lord Jesus came to this Earth to help humanity. He came to do good things for them. Have a close relationship with Him. You will be able to taste and see that He is good.
2000 years back, Jesus was going to a place for His ministry. On His way, He saw a blind man who was begging. He had to stretch his hands for money just to fill his stomach. Many people humiliated him. Just to fill His stomach, he tolerated every humiliation. He tried all possible medication for his eyesight but was not healed. At that time, some people told about Jesus to this blind man. They said that he could taste the Lord for he was doing good things for all the people. If only he could get an opportunity to see Jesus, then he would be healed from his sickness. At that time, he heard that Jesus was passing through that way. He was crying out saying, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy upon me.” The people told him to be quiet. But he called out to Jesus even louder. Jesus heard and stood there as He respected his voice. Jesus stood still and called for him. So they called to the blind man, “Cheer up! On your feet! He’s calling you.” “What do you want me to do for you?” Jesus asked him. The blind man said, “Rabbi, I want to see.” “Go,” said Jesus, “your faith has healed you.” Immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus along the road.
My dear children of God, do not lose this opportunity that the Lord has given for you to taste who Jesus is. Jesus is asking you, “What would you want me to do for you! What is it that you want to accomplish through me!” The Lord is telling, “All that you have asked in my name has been granted to you. Be at peace.” Jesus respects each and every move of your heart. He hears every cry of your heart. He is a God who gives answers to your prayers.
Today, the Lord is breaking all your bondage. He is giving you all that you desired for. You do not have to stretch your hands before any human. Jesus says that He will be your provider in all ways. Go with faith for you will see the glory of God.
God bless you.
Prayer:
Our loving heavenly father, we thank You for this blessed day. I submit my dear children into Your hands of protection. Lord, You have said that You will be their provider. They will not have to stretch forth their hands to any human for help. Lord, I pray that You may help Your dear children in all their difficulties and bring a breakthrough in their lives. Be with them and bless them In Jesus name we pray,
Amen.
My Dear Brothers and Sisters, I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given is taken from, Jeremiah 31:20 “Is Ephraim My dear son? Is he a pleasant child? For though I spoke against him, I earnestly remember him still. Therefore My heart, Yearns for him. I will surely have mercy on him, says, the Lord.”
My dear Brothers and Sisters, from the above context we understand that God loved Ephraim, but because of his
Those whom God loves with His love, He will draw to Himself. The goodness of God shall lead His people to repentance. And because of sin they weep with more bitterness. God says, about Ephraim, (one of the ten tribes ) God’s chosen son, is weeping over his sin. He is angry with himself, for committing sin, and folly . He finds that he cannot keep himself close with God by his own power. God looks at him and says, “Is not Ephraim My dear son? Is he not a pleasant child to me? For though I spoke against him, I earnestly remember him. I long for him I will surely have mercy on him.” The Lord says, “For a mere moment I have forsaken you, But with great mercies I will gather you.”
My Dear Brothers and Sisters, Therefore Ephraim prays to the Lord seeking for his forgiveness. He says, “ Turn thou me, and I shall be turned. ” His will, was bowed to the will of God. When the Love of God touched his heart then he repented of his sin. The commandments and teachings of God corrects a person from committing sin. This is our comfort in affliction, that the Lord thinks about me. The Bible says, Though I am poor and needy, yet the Lord thinks about me. Thus we see God has mercy in store for all who seek Him in sincerity. With the merciful, God will show Himself merciful. With a blameless man God will show Himself blameless.
My dear Brothers and Sisters, Have you gone away from God. The Bible says, but your iniquities have separated you from your God. Therefore through trials God draws you close to Him. For the Lord disciplines those whom He loves. God is mindful of you. He will bless you. He will bless those who fear the Lord . Both small and great. Therefore return to the Lord
Prayer:
Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Lord we thank You for forgiving our sins, and showing us mercy. Help us not to commit sin and separate ourselves from God. Thank You for thinking about us even though we are poor and needy. May we be aware that You are mindful of us, and that you bless both small and great. In Jesus name we pray.
Amen.
My Dear Brothers and Sisters, I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given for you today is from the book of Psalms 34:10, “ The young lions do lack and suffer hunger, but those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing.”
My dear Brothers and Sisters, the young lions are fierce, cunning, strong, and yet they howl in their ravenous hunger. Yes the young lions do lack and suffer hunger. But true children of God who seek the Lord with all their heart, do not lack any good thing. They are content with what God has blessed them with. Most often wild beasts suffer from the pangs of long continued hunger. So they kill brutally any animal that comes in contact with them. The cry of every wild beast is so melancholy and forlorn, that it impresses the traveller with sadness. Due to lack of food many of the them die of starvation or due to desperate fights among themselves for want of food.
Dear Brothers and Sisters, “’But it is not the case of those that seek the Lord for they shall not lack any good thing.” There shall be no want to such people who put their trust in the Lord completely and live by faith for all their needs. But oftentimes it is not good for a man to abound with earthly blessings. For both earthly and spiritual blessings come from God. The Bible says, Praise be to God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ who has blessed us in the heavenly places in Christ. God wants a life for us that is filled with blessings and prosperity. God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you may have an abundance for every good work. The Bible further says, God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
My dear Brothers and Sisters, God desires to give you of the dew of heaven, of the fatness of the earth, And plenty of grain and wine. But you need to seek the Lord with all your heart. You need to trust Him, for God’s power and protection are blessings which we receive and in turn we let those blessings flow, through us to others. The Lord assures you of His unfailing love, He wants to bless you and multiply you. He also will bless the fruit of your womb, and the fruit of your ground, Your grain and your wine, and your oil, the increase of your herds and the young of your flock in the land of the living.
God bless you.
Prayer:
Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Lord we thank you for Your rich providence. Though the lions lack and hunger You have provided us with all good things. So we praise you Lord. You meet all our needs and bless the work of our hands. Help us dear Lord to seek you with all of our heart and put our trust in you. In Jesus name we pray.
Amen.
My Dear Brothers and Sisters, I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given for you today is from the book of Zachariah 4:6 says, “Not by might, nor by Power, but by my Spirit says, the Lord.”
My Dear Brothers and Sisters, from the above verse we understand that we cannot achieve anything by our own effort. Rather we need the grace and mercy of God to achieve anything in our life. The Bible says, God gives wisdom and knowledge, and joy to a man who is good in His sight. This indicates that we need to be good in God’s sight to be blessed. Moreover it is not by your might nor by your power that you can achieve anything but by the Spirit of the Lord, says the word of God. You should never say or think in your heart, that you are an achiever just because of your wisdom, your knowledge, your education, your talents, or your hard work. Please come out of these narrow selfish thoughts. God’s children should never drift away into such pride. You should always say, this is not because of my effort, but by the divine grace of God.
The Bible says, Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above and comes down from the Father of Lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning. The Bible says, “They never say in your heart, My power, and the might of my hand, have gained me this wealth. And you shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you the power to gain wealth.” Often we see that the moment one secures a job, he forgets God. He stops coming to church. When questioned he says, he has
God bless you.
Prayer:
Our loving heavenly Father, we thank you for this blessed day. Teach us to understand that every good gift is from God. Help us not
In Jesus name we pray.
Amen.
My Dear Brothers and Sisters, I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given for you today is from the book of Deuteronomy 8:17,18, “Then you say in your heart, My power and the might of my hand have gained me this wealth. And You shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth. That He may establish his covenant which he swore to your fathers as it is this day.”
My Dear Brothers and Sisters, from the above verse we come to understand that it is God who gives you strength and opens new door to obtain your lively hood. And you dont achieve anything through your own effort. We always think that earnings mean money alone. This is not true. When you earn appreciation from others for your good performance then it is a kind of income that you have achieved. Some children behave so well that it earns the appreciation of others then we say the child has earned reputation. Because he does not cry or trouble anyone. Brilliant children score good marks, that is a kind of income that he earned. It is God who loads us with benefits or talents. So all the credit goes to the Lord. The Bible says, Blessed be the Lord who daily loads us with benefits, even the God of our salvation.
My Dear Brothers and Sisters, God wants you to earn name and fame. God says, I will appoint them for praise and fame among all the peoples of the earth. He is interested in lifting you up in life. He does not want you to live a base and low profile life. He is a God who raises the poor from the dust and lifts the beggar from the ash heap in order to set them among princes, and make them inherit the throne of glory. You need to earn name and fame, wealth and family , good friends and good relationship all the good gifts and above all, we need to earn for the kingdom of God.
My Dear Brothers and Sisters, God is going to bless you like that of a tree planted by the rivers of water that brings forth fruit in its season. God will help you to be fruitful, according to your age, strength and potential. Therefore keep praising the Lord because, all that you have achieved is because of Gods grace. For God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in good work. For grace was given to each one of us according to the measure of Christs gifts. It is through our Lord Jesus Christ, that we have obtained grace in which we stand and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
God bless you.
Prayer:
Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Lord You are the Sun and the Shield. Lord You have bestowed upon us favour and honour. No good thing have you withheld from those who walk uprightly. Lord fill us with grace and power that we may perform wonders and signs among the people.
In Jesus name we pray.
Amen.
