God’s word performs miracle

My dear Brothers   and sisters   in Christ,   I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus  Christ our Lord.  The blessed  that God has given you for today is from the book of Psalms 33:9, ” For He spoke, and it was done. He commanded , and it stood fast”.  Our God is a miracleworking God.When God steps in, there will be a miracle in your life and you will  stand .  Words written in the Bible have life and spirit of power in them. When people share their problems with me during the  counselling session, I give them simple word from the Bible and they take hold of the word that not only restores them but also performs miracle in their life.

Here is an illustration of how Jesus performed a miracle in order to avert the shame of that family. Once Jesus and His disciples were invited for the  wedding at  Cana -in Galilee, and the mother of Jesus was also there. Jesus went to the wedding to bless the couple. And when the family  ran out of wine the mother of Jesus reported the matter to Jesus with the hope that He would do something good for the family. Because in those days it was considered a great shame if the wine was not served at the wedding.  The family was about to go through shame but Jesus performed a miracle in order to avert the shame that had come upon the family. He ordered the servants to set up six water pots of stone. Then Jesus said to them, “Fill the water pots with water.”And they filled them up to the brim. Then Jesus said to them, Draw some water out now and take it to the master of the feast.

When the master had tasted the water that was made wine. He called the bridegroom and said to him, ‘Everyone brings out the choice wine first and then the cheaper wine after the guests have had too much to drink; but you have saved the best till now.’  He did not know that Jesus had turned the water into nice tasty wine.  (But the servants  who had drawn the water knew). Jesus used words to perform a miracle. Such words remove shame in the life of the people and renew their life. Firstly He said “Fill the water pots with water.” Secondly He said,  “Now draw some out and take it to the master of the banquet.”There was power in His word. When the servants served the water it turned into good and tasty wine. The water became tasty by the power of God’s word. That was sweeter than honey. The power of His words changed the very situation of that family. God gave them good name instead of their shame.  There was great rejoicing in their family.

Today are you in troubled situation. Do not be worried. God will change your situation and there will be a great rejoicing in your life .

God bless you.

Prayer:

Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day.  Lord we thank You, for Your  word that  does wonders. You are a God of power and authority. Please help all those who are in trouble and are calling out to You for help.  Change their shameful situation. Grant them joy and true happiness.   In Jesus name we pray.

Amen.

Temple Of God.

Dearly beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, I greet and bless you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. The blessed word that the Lord has given for you today is from the book of Acts 3:8, “Then Peter said, “Silver or gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk.” Taking him by the right hand, he helped him up, and instantly the man’s feet and ankles became strong. He jumped to his feet and began to walk. Then he went with them into the temple courts, walking and jumping, and praising God.

Everyone of us living in this world have various problems. The Psalmist says, “How lovely is your dwelling place.” The only place where your problem can be solved without any money is the temple of God. If there is a place that can give refuge for the people who have been forsaken by the doctors, it is the temple of God. When a man enters into the temple of God, he can encounter lovely experiences given by God. When you go into the temple of God, you see the Lord who can turn your painful life into a lovely life. God expects you to come into the temple of God that is kept open for you always.

One day Peter and John went to the temple of God for their ministry. When they went there, they saw a lame man sitting at the gates of the temple, begging. Acts 3:2 says that the man was lame by birth. He was made to sit at the gates of the temple to beg. As he was lame by birth, he was not able to run around and earn a living on his own. Looking at Peter and John, the beggar asked, “Sir, can you offer me some money,”  Peter replied to him, “Silver or gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk.” He was begging only because he was stationed outside the temple of God. Therefore, Peter wanted the man to go into the temple so that he would be able to witness the wonders of the Lord. The very next moment the man stood up, walked, jumped and went into the temple of God praising Him. There were tears and sorrows until the day he was outside the temple of God. But from the moment he entered into the temple of God, the Lord filled him with joy and he came out of the temple with great gladness in his heart. When he went into the temple, God gave him the opportunity to work hard and earn on his own and also to live a good life.

My dearly beloved, when you go into the temple of the Lord, He will change all your painful situations into a lovely experience. You will also experience the wholeness of the blessings of the temple of God and you will be blessed with not only the Spiritual blessings, but also with the Earthly blessings too. Go to the temple of God and encounter wonderful experiences.

God bless you.

Prayer:

Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. I submit my dear children into Your loving hands. Lord You know the sufferings of my children. You are aware of all their problems. I pray that You may show mercy upon them and bring a change in their lives. Forgive them if they have done anything wrong. Help them to come to the temple of God and experience Your Love for them. Fill them with lovely experiences. In Jesus name we pray,

Amen.

Contentment is Great Gain.

Dearly beloved Brothers and Sisters in Christ, I greet and bless you all in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. As I waited upon the Lord, the blessed word that the Lord gave me to bless you is from the book of 1 Timothy 6:6, “ But godliness with contentment is great gain.’ Be content with what you have. Be thankful to God for what He has blessed you with.

Today it is distressing to know that people are dissatisfied with what they have. Some husbands grumble about their wives. Some wives grumble about their husbands. Some parents grumble about their children and so on. God hates such comparisons because, God is the one who predestines families. God knows what is best for each of us. If God has planned out things, He will plan only what is best for us. The Lord is not a partial God. He will never wait to see you suffer in life. If there is any trouble that you are facing, it will be only to shape you and to make you a better person. It will not be to harm you. Be content with the life that God has blessed you with.

We are not given the authority to compare any of God’s creation to the other. Be careful in asking the will of God before you take a step in life. Do not be envious of what others are doing. Be thankful for what God has given you.

God has a perfect plan and purpose in your life. Be original in what you do. Be yourself. Be content with what you have. God will bless you and take you to greater Heights.

God Bless You.

Prayer:

Our loving Heavenly Father, We thank you for this blessed day. I pray that You may bless Your dear children. May You teach them to be content with what you have blessed them with, so that you will be able to bless them more and more. Give them a content heart. Be with them and bless them. In Jesus Name we Ask and Pray,

Amen.

Marriages are made in heaven.

My dear Brothers and sisters in Christ, I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord.  The blessed word that God has given you for today is from the book of                           Mark 10:9 “ Therefore what God has joined together, let no man separate.” The Lord has predestined certain things. God has his own way of doing things. It will not be to harm you, but to give you a future and a hope.

We see in the Bible, the story of Joseph and Mary. Joseph was not very sure of Mary being his wife because she was found with a child of the Holy Spirit. Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not wanting to make her a public example, was minded to put her away secretly. But while he was thinking on these things, an angel Gabriel appeared to him in a dream saying “Joseph son of David do not be afraid, to take to you, Mary your wife for that which is conceived in is of the Holy Spirit. Only then Joseph took Mary as his wife. It was the will of God that Joseph and Mary should get married. The Lord united them by sending a word through His angel Gabriel. After that they lived happily. Likewise if you have any doubt, about anything, pray and ask the Lord to show you the way. He will be with you and guide you.

Today the Lord says, that if your husband or your wife has left you and now you are separated, He is going to bring them back to you, because no man can separate what God has united. When they come back to you, you must be able to forgive them, accept them and live a happy life in future. If you have been wronged by your spouse, you must be able to forgive them and reconcile with each other. Jesus was able to forgive those who persecuted and mocked Him even at the last moment of His life because He had the Love of God in Him. Hence you must also forgive those who do wrong to you. Only then the Lord will be pleased with you. God wants you to live a happy and blessed life.

God bless you.

Prayer:

Our Loving heavenly Father, we thank you for this blessed day. I pray that you bless my dear children with a happy married life. Lord help them to remain united . Let no evil force interfere in their lives and spoil the harmony of their family life. Lord you perform what is appointed for them. Let the wife be like a fruitful vine and children like olive plants. Lord bless them out of Zion, and enable them to see the good of Jerusalem all the days of their life. In Jesus name we pray.

Amen.

The Sweetened Waters.

My dear Brothers and sisters  in Christ,  I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given you for today is from the book of Exodus 15 : 23, 25  “Now when they came to  Marah, they could not drink the waters of Marah, for they were bitter. Therefore the name of it was called Marah. And the people complained against Moses, saying, “What shall we drink?”  So he cried out to the Lord, and the Lord showed him a tree. When he cast it into the waters, the waters were made sweet.’’

The Waters of  Marah were bitter. The people of Israel could not drink the water. They had been without water for three days. Since the waters were bitter it was called   Marah.  Moses led the people of Israel from the Red Sea and they went into the wilderness of Shur. To survive in the desert is not an easy or comfortable journey especially when there is limited or no supply of water. It’s a deadly place to be  in when one has to live away from the land. Therefore we see that God led His people from the waters of  Marah to waters of Refreshing. God has already planned His provision for your trials. This experience will encourage if you are going through a season of dryness or a bitter experience. From bitterness God leads His people to the wells of Elim. When they came to Elim, there were twelve wells of water and seventy palm trees. So they camped there by the waters. Both cattle and people drank water to the full.

Dear Brothers and Sisters,  Moses had a painful experience while leading the people of Israel through the wilderness.  Before they could reach   Canaan,  the promised land flowing with milk and honey. At Marah  people  could not drink the water as they were  bitter. Hence they murmured against Moses. So he cried out  to God, for help. And the Lord showed him a tree. Moses threw it into the water and the water immediately turned sweet. Whenever the people of Israel cried out to the Lord, God would appear before them and relieve them in their distress. Moses knew the power of God and trusted in His faithfulness.

Dear children of God you too must have experienced such bitterness in your life. And must have been saddened  at heart.  You might have selected a good college for your children but they would have gone through a miserable time in the college. May be you would have secured a good job for your son with much recommendation, but it turned out to be a great disappointment. It may be that you would have selected a good proposal for your daughter, but for various reason, the marriage of your daughter turned out to be a bitterful   experience. Therefore you are very dejected in life.  Please look up to God He will come down and solve all your problems and relieve you of your distress.  For Gods hand is not shortened that it cannot save, Nor his ear heavy that He cannot hear.

God bless you.

Prayer:

Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Thank   You Lord for changing bitter  water into sweet water for the children of Israel. You are mindful of Your children.  We  praise  you  God for Your faithfulness and power.  Bless your children who have been dejected in their life.  May their future be brightened.  Help them Lord to seek You as the Lord  of their  life.  Jesus name we pray.

Amen.
