God Grants Grace.

My Dear Brothers and Sisters, I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord.  The blessed word that  God  has  given  for  you  today  is  from the  book of  Proverbs 22:4 “ By Humility, and the fear of the Lord; Are Riches and Honour, and life.”

From the above context we know that only by humility we can achieve    Riches, Honour and Life.  And to acquire this we need to be more careful to do what  is essential, so   as   to   get  a good   name  and maintain  it  too. Divine Providence has  so   ordered,    that  some  are  rich   while others remain  poor. But all are guilty before God. For at the throne of God’s Grace the poor are as welcome as the rich. Where the fear of the Lord is there will be humility. While the way of sin is dangerous and evil, the way of duty is safe and easy. By The fear of the Lord one distinguishes true Christian humility. And this involves, from a deep sense of God’s greatness, purity and perfection. Therefore the Bible says, The Fear of the Lord is the instruction of wisdom. And before Honour is Humility. For God resists the proud, But  gives grace to the humble.

God says, this is a period of sanctification. Many of you are desirous  to be wealthy, rich  and earn more money and do well in life. This is not at all wrong. But to achieve such riches, wealth and honour you need to possess a good character. You desire to possess good name,  fame and honour, You never like to be put to shame. You desire to live a long life,   upon this earth. You desire to live without any sickness or disease.  All this is good. But what is the good character that you need to have in order to achieve such a high position in your life, or live the life you want to have ?  What should you do to inherit all this?  What are  these  blessings  based upon? Only two  things you need to follow.  Be humble and Fear God.

That’s why the Bible says, By Humility, and the fear of the Lord; Are Riches and Honour, and life.”God expects you to make two changes in your life in order to achieve Riches and Honour.  You need to get rid of your pride and learn to be submissive and humble before God and man. If you were living all these days, without the fear of your conscious or without the fear of God it is high  time you change your attitude.  Restrain yourself from all your wicked   plans, and schemes and ways of life.

Prayer:  Our   loving   heavenly  Father, we   thank   You  for this blessed day.  Dear Lord thank You for telling us that we need to humble ourselves.  And acquire good qualities in order to achieve name and fame. Teach us to keep ourselves  away from all wicked ways. Renew our life and  help us to fear our conscious and  God,  so that we may acquire great riches and wealth.

In Jesus name we pray

Amen.

God Regards the Lowly

I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord.  The blessed word that God has given you for today is from the book of Luke 1:48,49,  “For He has regarded the lowly state of His maidservant. For Behold hence forth all generations shall call me blessed. For He who is mighty has done great things for me, and holy is his name.”

Mary of the house of David was a poor virgin and Joseph to whom she was   betrothed was a poor carpenter. And yet God instead of choosing the rich and noble families of Jewish people, He pitched upon this virgin to be the mother of the Messiah. The family of David was very much reduced and had left them hopeless and helpless, poor and miserable, but God has remembered his elect and has provided a Saviour for them and sent him to deliver them out of bondage because His mercy endures  forever.

And this Mary was sensible and hence rejoiced in God her saviour. Though a virgin,   to conceive and also bear, such a son, who should be called Jesus, a Saviour, Immanuel, God with us, and who was no other than the mighty God, the everlasting Father, and Prince of Peace, wherefore she describes God by the phrase, “He that is mighty” since this was the work of the Almighty Power and very justly adds, and Holy is His name. “The birth of Jesus Christ was brought about,   without   any impurity.  Through the influence of the Holy   Ghost.  Thus God preserved the human nature from the interference of sin.   Human race was sanctified and made fit to be united to the son of God.  Mary realized the great things God has done for her in a spiritual sense.  She understood that she was redeemed by the messiah and being sanctified,   she experienced Gods sovereign grace,   and   goodness and his Almighty power with his justice and holiness. “Hence forth all generation shall call me blessed”.

Mary magnifies God, because He had respect to her who was so mean and poor in condition for though she belonged to the royal family of David, they   had   been afflicted,  for many  years,  and had reduced to shambles.  By choosing   Mary from a poor family God magnifies Himself   and takes pleasure in exalting   such as are low.   The Bible says, God has chosen the foolish things of the world, to put to shame the wise. And God has chosen the weak things of the world, to put to shame the things, which are mighty.

Prayer:   Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. We praise and thank you   for  considering the poor and needy.   Though You are God of the  Universe     you took the form of man and  was born in  a manger. We thank You saviour for humbling yourself.  We thank you for remembering us in our lowly state of life and for Your Love that endures forever.  Lord we plead that You will regard the poor and needy at this period of time as they are struggling to meet their ends. Guard and protect their families and children as they are stranded in life, not knowing what to do.

 In Jesus name we pray.

Amen.

Count all the good things.

I greet and bless you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. The blessed word that the Lord has given for you today is from the book of Numbers 23:23 , There is no divination against Jacob, no evil omens against  Israel. It will now be said of Jacob and of Israel, ‘See what God has done!’

From the above context we learn that Balaam was called by Balak the king of Moab, to curse Israel. But Balaam found that all his enchantments, and divinations, signified nothing and would never prevail, to bring a curse upon Israel. He knew it was vain thing for him to use them. And it was also vain for Balak to expect anything from them. Neither Balaam nor any other enchanter, or soothsayer, can use all the arts, they had practiced to hurt the people of Israel,  who were  the peculiar treasure of God. No one could ever stand against them as they were considered precious in His sight.

Dearly Beloved,  people would have asked you,   what has your God done for you?  You  have  been   going to the church regularly. What did you benefit by going to church?  They might have criticized you. You would have been put to shame by them because you have not seen  any good days in life.   But   they   are  all  doing well in  life. But nothing big has happened in your life.  And so you may be disappointed. Yet you have not lost your hope in God , therefore   today God is going to make you count all  the good  things  that He has done for you.

If  you are  not able to list down His goodness or you are not able to rejoice in God’s work  due to some satanic bondage you would have lost God’s blessings. Some satanic bondage is stopping you to rejoice all the blessings that God has blessed you with. You may be worried that you don’t  know what is happening in your life.  You may think that you have lost everything in your life. But today God says, that “There is no Divination against Jacob and no evil omens against Israel”.  God loves and cares for Israel. God says, “Look I  have   found you in the furnace of affliction.”See I have inscribed you on the palms of My Hand,   Your   walls,  are continually before Me.”

God has blessed you,  but  evil bondage has chained all your blessings until now, God is going to break those chains, barriers and bondages and liberate you.  No weapon forged against you will prevail, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and this is their vindication from Me,” declares the Lord.” Sometimes you may suffer from serious   sickness in your body this is because of evil bondage. Once Jesus was teaching in the synagogues,  and  a woman was there who had been crippled by a spirit for eighteen years. She was   bent over and could not straighten up at all.  When Jesus saw her, he called her forward and said to her, “Woman, you are set free from your infirmity.”  Then he put his hands on her, and immediately she straightened up and praised God.   In the same manner God will cure you today, of your sickness that is due to curse or evil spirit.

The Lord will not let the enemies who rise up against you  be prosperous.  They will come  against   you from one direction but flee from you in seven direction. God will rebuke all the   things   that brought you shame.  Your failures, your debts, or your diseases would have brought shame to you, whatever it is.  God of Israel will not put Israel to shame. They could devour hostile   nations and break their bones in pieces; and with their arrows they pierced them.  God gave the strength of a wild ox to the people of Israel while they departed from the land of Egypt.  Likewise, today,  God will bless you with the strength of a wild ox.   And you will rejoice over all the blessings that God has blessed you.

Prayer

Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Lord, bless us  with your goodness. We are patiently waiting for, whatever   goodness that is yet to come.   Lord will never put us to shame before others.  Grant us good health, strength, skill to work, intelligence, wisdom, and good understanding. Remove all sickness from our body and break all the evil chains that we are caught up with, deliver us and make us   free from all the bondages.

 In Jesus name we pray,

Amen.

You Shall Receive New Strength.

Dearly Beloved,  I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus  Christ our Lord.  The blessed word that the Lord has given for you today is from the book of Isaiah 40:31 “But those who wait upon the Lord,   Shall renew their strength.  They shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary,  they shall walk and not faint.”

From the above context, we do understand that where God had begun the work of grace, He will perfect it. He will help those who wait in humble dependence upon Him. In the strength of Divine grace, their souls, shall ascend, above the world. They shall run according to God’s commandments cheerfully. They shall mount up with wings as eagles. Which means, they shall put forth fresh feathers like the eagle. They shall run and not be weary. Which means that they who trust in God, would be vigorous, elevated, unwearied, that He would sustain and uphold   them. And that they would not faint while doing His service.

Today is the day when the Lord is going to give you new strength. His mercies are new every morning. God desires to bless His children with new mercy and grace   every day. He grants such mercy to children who wait on the Lord for a long period of time. In that matter for which you have been waiting for so long a time, God wants to perform a miracle for you. Today as you are reading this message, many good things will happen in your life. But you need to wait on the Lord patiently. When you expect a great blessing from God you need to wait for a period of time and this involves patience. Only when you wait you will realize the greatness of receiving your reward.

People who wait, on God without using any means to obtain his goal,  is meaningless. For instance the farmer who awaits a good crop should wait on God, while he ploughs and sows his field. He should do his part and wait patiently for the Lord to display his power and greatness. Such people will renew their strength. Which means, they shall increase, renew and cause to revive and restore that which is decayed.

We need to wait upon the Lord as children wait on their parents,  to do them honour, and receive food and blessings from them. As servants depend upon their masters, to do their work and have their wages. As clients on their patrons to have advice of them. The waiting implies of course, the expectant attitude of faith. Even the eagle with hope renews its plumage in extreme old age. Because, there is no failure for the faithful, and faith knows no weariness.

The Psalmist says,  I will wait for the Lord, who hides his face from the house of Jacob. I will look eagerly unto the Lord, for help. No one who puts His hope on the Lord will be put to shame. Therefore I urge you Brethren to wait on the Lord and be of good courage. The Lord will grant you new strength and perform miracles as He has promised you in the future. He satisfies the longing soul, and fills your mouth with good things. So that your youth is renewed like the eagles. God bless you.

Prayer:  Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Lord we are thankful to you for appointing opportunities, and means for us to achieve our blessings that you have stored up for us. Teach us to wait patiently and with an act of reverence to receive our goals. Lord grant us new strength. That we may soar high like the eagles and reach great height in our lives.

In Jesus name we pray.

Amen

BE STRONG

Dearly Beloved,  I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given for you today, is from the book of  Joshua. 1:5,  “No man shall be able to stand before you  all  the days of your life. As I was with Moses So I will be with you. I will not leave you nor forsake you. Be strong and of good courage, for to this people, you shall  divide as an inheritance the land which I swore to their fathers to give them.”

From the above context we understand that Moses the elect leader of the people of Israel, who went up to mount Nebo to the top of Pisgah looked over the promised land, of Israel and died at the age of 120 in Moab. He did not enter the land of Canaan. As a result all the people were distressed and troubled in their heart over the death of their leader who had brought them up to the borders of Jordan. Now there was doubt,   fear, and anxiety in the minds and hearts of the people of Israel. They wondered as to who would lead them further into the land of Canaan. And it was at that time when God appointed Joshua as the next leader to lead the people of Israel into the land of Canaan.

When Joshua was elected as the next leader of Israel, he was troubled in his heart, as to what he was going to do in future with the people of Israel, and how he was going to lead  them into the land of Canaan. So God called Joshua, and assured him that He was there with him and  asked him not to be troubled. He tells Joshua, “’No man shall be able to stand before you all  the days of your life. As I was with Moses So I will be with you. I will not leave you nor forsake you. Be strong and of good courage, ”God actually encouraged Joshua, to carry out his mission. After Elijah God chose Elisha, Apostle Paul prepared Timothy to carry on his discipleship. The death of ministers, apostles and preachers cannot arrest the task of the Lord. God Himself appointed new leaders as soon as the former leader had completed his task.

Some of you like Job, who have lost everything in life, are reading this message. May be you are disturbed in your heart as to what God has in store for you. Well it is only in such trying period, that you tend to draw close to God. Both Job’s wife and his friends criticised Job for his righteousness and asked him to curse God and die. But Job never sinned against God by his mouth. Therefore God blessed the latter part of his life.  Only when you  go through  a  great loss in your life, God changes your sorrow into  joy. God immediately changed   the sorrow of the   people  of Israel  into joy  by electing a new leader Joshua,  to take care of them in the wilderness. God tells Joshua, “Be strong and  of good courage, do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is  with you, wherever you go. Similarly God is encouraging you today that He will lead you safe in the land of the living. He will instruct you with His eyes and lead you beside the still waters. Though you  walk  through the way of darkness, He  will  lead you with His rod  and  staff, So be cheerful in the Lord.  Hold on to Him, then he will turn your sorrow into joy.

Prayer:  Our  loving heavenly Father, we thank You  for this blessed day. Lord we are thankful to you for appointing   new leaders the moment the former leader completes his task.   Thank you Lord for your care and concern regarding the people  of  Israel.  You not only led them to the land flowing with milk and honey but also made Joshua to distribute the land as an inheritance which God had sworn to their fathers.  Lord  bless us,  as you blessed the Israelites.

In Jesus name we pray.

Amen.
