Fullness of Blessing

My dear Brothers and sisters in Christ,   I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord.  The blessed word that God has given you for today is from the book of,  2 Kings 4:6  “Now it came to pass when the vessels were full that she said, to her son, “Bring me another vessel.“And he said, to her there is not another vessel.” So the oil ceased.

My Dear Brothers and Sisters, from the above context we read about the incident of a widow who was the wife of a prophet. The Prophet  had left behind a huge debt and she had to pay back  a large sum of money. The creditors  often  troubled   her  and threatened her that he  would take away her sons if she failed to pay back the dues.  She was rather scared of them and she did not wish to part her two sons from her.  She was  going through a painful trouble. So she ran to the prophet Elisha and cried out to him for help. So Elisha  said to her, “What do  you have in the house? The woman replied that she had nothing   other  than a jar of oil with her.  Then he said to her “ Go borrow  vessels from everywhere. From all your neighbours-empty vessels, do not gather just a few.”

My Dear Brothers and Sisters, Prophet Elisha told her that once she collected all the vessels, she should shut the door behind her and her sons, then pour it into all the vessels, and set aside the full ones. Now it came to pass  when the vessels were full that she said to her son, “Bring me another vessel.”  “And he said, to her there is not another vessel.” So the oil ceased. ’ The oil stopped pouring out until all the vessels in the village had been filled with oil. Then she went and told the man of God that she had filled all the vessels that she had borrowed. And he said, “Now go and sell the oil and pay your debt. And you and your sons live on the rest.” Just as she was directed she sold the oil and paid the debts. Thus she saved her two sons  from  the  creditors cruel hands. She not only cleared the debts but also provided for her sons and their future.

My Dear Brothers and Sisters,  God is going to bless you with such kind of blessing.  God is going to bless you with overflowing blessing. She approached the  man of God when she was in a poor state of life.   God solved the problem of the widow. And made her a prosperous woman.  In the same way God will solve all your problems if you approach God in a humble manner.  Nothing is too hard for the Lord to do. You too like the widow may be facing financial crisis. You may have to pay back your creditor huge sum of money.   Or   maybe  you are in a tight corner situation  because of some misunderstanding with your spouse. Or  maybe  you are going through a tough period in your work spot because of  your boss.  Whatever situation you may be going through God is able to deliver you,  and set you free. God wants to bring an end to all your problems. He will perform a miracle for you.  He spoke and it was done .He commanded  and it stood fast. Halleluiah.!  Our  God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all  that you  ask or think or pray. God bless you.

Prayer:  Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Thank you for helping the widow clear off her debts and provide for the future of her sons.  Help us also to pay off our debts and live in peace and harmony. Give us the strength to overcome all problems that crop up in our life. Bring an end to all our problems and help us see better days in life.

In Jesus name we pray.

Amen.

GOD COMFORTS US

I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given for you today is from the book of 2 Corinthians 1:4, “God comforts us in all our tribulation that we may be able to comfort them who are in trouble.”
From the above context we understand that our God comforts all those who are in trouble. The Bible says, “In this world you will have tribulation but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” Yes, our God has overcome all the troubles that you should go through. He has borne not only your troubles but also your disease, your debts and all other problems that you have to experience in your life.
Our Father in heaven has a wondrous array of divine qualities, and godly characteristics. But one of His essential elements is that He is our God of all comfort. He is our Source of all consolation. Jesus himself while he lived as a man in this world had to go through several problems. He came into the earth to fulfil His Fathers will, yet he needed favour of man and God. Whenever He was helpless He looked up to God in prayer and was comforted. He learned obedience by the things that He Himself suffered, and this is more than adequate to identify with our hurt and pain and to empathise with our sorrow and suffering. Oh yes, He is more than equipped to comfort us in all our afflictions.
The Apostle Paul in this verse confirms the above character of God, as “the God of all comfort”, by his own experience, and that of his fellow ministers; who, in spite of their great tribulation and affliction for the sake of Christ, and his Gospel, yet were not left destitute of divine help and support under their trials; but had much consolation administered to them by the presence of God. Why God was pleased to comfort them in such a manner was not because of their own account; but for the good of others. And there is a wider purpose and a greater reason that our Father of mercies, and God of all comfort never fails to stoop down and comfort us in our affliction and to console us in our miseries, for He has purposed that we who are comforted of Him, may be ready and equipped to comfort and succour all those who are in any kind of affliction.
Our God became a God of comfort, because of his living experience. He had felt that ever-continuing comfort was flowing into his soul, and he knew that it had not been given to him for his own profit only, but that it might flow forth to others. The Lord is able to give peace to the troubled conscience, and to calm the raging passions of the soul. It is our Saviour who says, Let not your heart be troubled. All comforts come from God, and our sweetest comforts are in him. He comforts everyone, by the rich mercies of his grace. He is able to bind up the broken-hearted, to heal the most painful wounds, and also to give hope and joy under the heaviest sorrows. The favours God bestows on us are not only to make us cheerful, but also that we may be useful to others.
Today many of you are reading this message with great expectation. Many are reading this message with tears in your eyes; you seem to be broken hearted. Some of you are not able to pay back your EMI for the loan you received from the bank. Some are unable to complete your house construction. You have no money to finish it. You look very troubled. Some are saying, “Look poverty is lying at my door step.” You have lost all your hope. You are unable to pay the fees for your children and now the schools are about to be opened after the Lock Down period. Some are unable to treat your sick children since you have no money. Some of you received only half your salary and you find it very difficult to maintain your monthly expenditure. Surely your hope and trust will not be in vain, nor shall any be ashamed who trust in the Lord. So don’t lose hope in God. God says, “I will not forget you nor forsake you. I will guide you with My eyes. For you are the apple of My eyes. Do not be afraid, I am your shield, your exceedingly great reward.” God is watching you and the problems that you go through. He will rescue you, from your problems because He is a comforting God.

God Himself allows trouble in our lives that we may look up to God and be comforted. Many are the troubles and afflictions of those who are called to serve Him. But it is the will of God that they should be comforted: So we should speak comfortably to the people of God who suffer tribulation or affliction. The Bible says, “Comfort, yes comfort My people” only then they are blessed with a rich experience of divine consolation in themselves. Troubles cause the poor to come to God. For God hears the cry of the afflicted. And kindness should be shown to those who go through affliction. When we experience troubles then we are able to understand those who are in trouble and will be able to lend a helping hand. May God help you to extend a hand of help to those who are struggling in life. God bless you.
Prayer: Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Lord we thank You for comforting us in times of affliction. Grant us the strength to overcome all our trials by placing our faith in You. Help us to speak words of comfort, to those in trouble. Uphold us by the arm of your mercy and help us to come out of all our troubles successfully. Do not put us to shame before others.
In Jesus name we pray.
Amen.

HOPE IN GOD

I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given for you today is from the book of Proverbs 23:18, Surely there is a hereafter, and your hope will not be cut off.
The above verse encourages us in the Lord, to fix our hope on the Lord Jesus Christ. King Solomon in his proverbs expresses our necessity to put our hope in the Lord. And also says that a bright future is ahead of you. Therefore do not lose your hope in God or become frustrated in your life when you go through afflictions, trials or problems because God is in control of your life.
The force of expectation is a very powerful force in the spirit. Today I want you to know, that whatever you are expecting will surely come to pass. If you expect it, you will surely get it. And if you are not expecting it, you will not get it. If you will be all that God wants you to be in life you must not just believe God for his promises in your life. You must begin to consciously expect those promises. There is a supernatural, force that draws whatever you are expecting towards you. If you expect something that is right, based on the promises of God, then you will have your expectation. The Bible says, the expectation of the poor shall not be forgotten.
Many people get into trouble because they get what they expect, but what they get is not what God wants to give them. Most of the time we expect what the devil wants to give us. If your expectations are directed towards what God has promised you in His word you will always, have Gods promises come to pass in your life. The prosperity of the wicked is usually for a short time. And the afflictions of the righteous are for a moment, but the end of a good man will be peace and prosperity. God says, For I know the thoughts that I think towards you, thoughts of peace, and not of evil. To give you a future and a hope. God bless you.
Prayer: Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Father we pray that You will help us to maintain a positive expectation every time and every situation of our life. We thank you, because there is a hereafter and our hope will not be lost. Teach us to put our hope in God who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment.
In Jesus name we pray.
Amen.

God who will perfect all things

I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given for you today is from the book of Ecclesiastes. 3:11, “ He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts. Except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end.”
God has made everything beautiful in its time. God made everything and there is a beauty in them all. He upholds all things; He governs and orders all things according to the counsel of his will. Some things are done immediately by Him. Some He does when its need arises. But whatever he does there is a beauty and harmony and all are ordered to answer the wisest and greatest purposes, and everything is done in the time in which He wills, that it should be done. And He does it in the time most fit and suitable for it to be done.
All natural things are beautiful in their season; things in summer, winter, spring, and autumn; frost and snow in winter, and heat in summer; darkness and dews in the night, and light and brightness in the day; and all that He works together for good; are like Joseph’s coat, of many colours, extremely beautiful, as are all the providences of God to men. The capacity of men is so small, and life so short, that they cannot find out all the works of God. In fact they do not live to see them finished, and therefore cannot find them out, For God has put something “hidden”, so that they cannot be perfectly known. Such is the greatness of God and His creation. History and science has divided man’s life into three divisions. Namely the past, the present and the future. We actually see several ages or phase of life that one experiences within a particular span of life. But God says, it does not matter how long the period of ages might be. But He has made everything beautiful in its time. Hallelujah!

Dearly Beloved is there anything undone in your life? Are you expecting for something to happen in your life? Well remember that the Lord will perfect that which concerns you. Nothing is too hard for the Lord to perform. He will perform a miracle for you. Therefore kindly put your faith on Him and He will fulfil the desires of your heart. For He performs what is appointed for you. Prophetically God says, that you feel, as if there is nothing perfect in your family. So you seem to say, “ If only my husband was perfect my children would have been fine. But because he drinks and uses bad language, now even my children have become bad and they use bad words. Since there is no perfection in my family I am suffering so much in my life.” Saying so, many of you are reading this message in tears.
Instead of producing the fruit of the spirit, they are living in their own ways, and as they wish. They don’t even come to church. But today God will change them, even your husband. From today God is going to perfect everything in your family, in your life. He will set right all the ups and down in your family. He will straighten all that is crooked in your life. God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think or pray, according to the power of the Holy Spirit that works in us. He heals the broken hearted and sets the captive free. Therefore turn to God and be blessed.
Prayer: Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Thank You Lord for having made everything beautiful in its time. You are the creator of all things, a great and mighty God. For by You all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible. Lord perform what is appointed for us that we may lack nothing. Help us to enjoy the creation of God and live in harmony.
In Jesus name we pray.
Amen.

ARISE NOW

I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given for you today, is from the book of Luke 7:3,14, “When the Lord saw her, He had compassion on her, and said to her, “Do Not Weep.”Then He came and touched the open coffin, and those who carried him stood still. And He said, “Young man, I say to you. Arise”.
From the above context we understand that Jesus had compassion on the widow. She had lost her only son, and there was no one to take care of her. She was weeping over the death of her beloved son. Jesus was touched by her pitiable situation, as she was walking behind the men carrying the coffin of her son to the burial place.
Jesus and his disciples were followed by a large crowd. They came to Nain, a Galilean town not far from Nazareth. As they were about to enter, they encounter or saw a funeral procession that was presumably on its way to a place of burial outside the city. Jesus approached the body of a young man being carried on a bier , a structure that allowed for the transport of a body or coffin for burial. Jesus commands the young man lying dead to rise, and he did rise. . With great reverence, the crowd praised God and exclaimed that a great prophet had come among them, with news of what Jesus had done spreading far and wide.
Jesus responds to the need of a widow, whose only son had died and had compassion on her. The most touching detail of the widow, was that he was her only son and this highlights her difficult situation. Without a husband and now without any son to support her, it is very likely that she is now or will soon be financially destitute. The story suggests that her sole means of support had been taken away from her. That is why when Jesus saw her situation, “his heart went out to her”. The compassion of Jesus was fuelled by the widow’s plight, for in the ancient world it was the case that people depended on their children after their retirement. . First, the crowds who were with Jesus were filled with awe and praised God, saying, “God had come to help his people.”
The incident reveals something more that than just a funeral. On the bier was the only child of a widow. She was now left undefended. It was the bereft mother who drew the compassion of Jesus. In spite of the laws of ritual purity, Jesus laid His hands on the bier, and gave the man back to his mother. His heart was touched by human misery. The compassion which can invade our hearts at the time of the death of a young person was also in Jesus’ heart for a young widow. He wanted to reach out to her, hold her to his heart and make her life better. This is the same with any suffering we have. The raising up of this young son is a symbol of how Jesus raises us when we are down. The compassion of his heart lets us know that we are understood, accepted and welcomed in the loving heart of God. .

Jesus gave the widow and her son another opportunity to live. When Jesus could comfort all the people that flocked around him by this miracle and rejuvenate their life will He not comfort and console you? He will comfort you. Be encouraged in the Lord He will surely comfort you, because just when the widow thought she had lost everything in life everything was restored back to her. If someone reading this message might have lost their loved one because of Corona Virus, let him/her be encouraged in the Lord through this message. For however dangerous your problem might be remembered you have Jesus beside you to strengthen and revive you. In times of darkness, let us remember that Jesus, the great prophet hailed by the mourners, is still with us – yesterday, today and forever. God bless you.

Prayer: Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Lord we thank You for Your compassion shown to the widow in the town of Nain. Thank You for restoring her son back to life and giving her another opportunity to live. Help us also when we go through such troubles. Comfort us too. Stretch out Your loving hand to help us in difficult situation. Let your power engulf us in times of distress. And when we are liberated we will glorify your name.

In Jesus name we pray.
Amen.
