God’s Protection.

My Dear Brothers and Sisters, I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord.  The blessed word that   God   has  given  for  you  today  is  from the book of   Genesis 31:29 “It is in my power to do you, harm. But the God of your father spoke to me last night saying, Be careful that you speak to Jacob neither good nor bad. ”

Dear Brothers and Sisters,   from the above context we come to understand that the Lord whom we worship cares for us He comes along with us as a shadow. The secret works of God is hid in our homes. Only that word has  kept  us alive. Many have planned and tried to do harm to us in our lives. It can be people in your family, people at your work spot, or in your neighbourhood. Why it can be your very close friends. Many want to hit us on our backs. Is it not true?

In the same way, many are digging pits behind your backs to bury you. But don’t worry, because nothing will happen to you without the knowledge of God. We read in the Bible that Joseph’s brothers threw him into a deep, dry pit. But before they could close the pit and bury him God intervened and opened a new door for him.  They   quickly pulled him up and sold him to the Egyptian merchants passing by. God is always trying to safeguard his children and   protect them from the harm that could befall them. Hallelujah.

Dear Brothers and Sisters, God is working secretly behind us to help us in our difficult situation. God turns the very person who is planning to harm us to do good to us. That is the character of our God for He is a good God. You might have heard people out of pride say;   “ Look  If  I want I can fling you out of this place.    I will destroy you and your family completely.   Why, I can even clear you out of this city.  You will have no identity. For   I have   power to harm you. ” From such people God has protected you and me,    because He not only loves us but also cares for us.  If  God had not protected us from the hands of those who troubled us then we would have perished in the hands of our enemy.

Worldly people will show off themselves and boast of their capacity in order to gain  name and fame. Our God is not so. He silently works behind us to protect and safeguard us from our foes. Some of you are crying saying that you are not able to move forward as all the doors seem to be closed. You sometimes think that someone has done some witchcraft over you and therefore you are unable to move forward in life. May be someone has spoilt your name and hence you want to either quit your job or move to some other location.  But God says, “ Don’t worry I will fight for you.” He will turn out everything for your good.

God was mindful of Jacob his beloved. He warned Laban his uncle, who planned to harm him and wash him out thoroughly. He spoke to him the previous  night not to speak anything good or bad to Jacob. But to send him to his father’s place peacefully  with his wife and children, and all his flocks and goods. The Bible says, For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself, strong on behalf  of those whose  heart is  loyal to Him.  Are you loyal to God?    Do you have a close relationship with God? Do you communicate with Him?  Then you can be assured of His unfailing   love and protection. The Psalmist says, God never permits any one to do you wrong. No one will   touch  God’s anointed children. No enemy can touch you too.  Trust in Jesus. God bless you.

Prayer:  Our  loving  heavenly Father,  we thank  You for this blessed day.  Lord thank you for  taking  care  of  us  and  our situation.  Thank You Lord for fighting on our behalf silently with our enemies.  Make us to realize that we are constantly under Your care and protection. Help us to be loyal to You. We thank You Lord for all your providence. Teach  us to be careful while we speak to others, never to hurt others but to be gentle and courteous.

In Jesus name we pray.

Amen.

Endurance.

My Dear Brothers and Sisters, I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord.  The blessed word that  God  has  given  for  you  today  is  from the  book of  Hebrews 12:6 , “For whom the Lord loves He chastens.  And scourges every son whom he receives. ”

My Dear Brothers and Sisters, from the above context we know that it is a universal truth that God sends trials on those whom He loves.  It does not mean that he sends chastisement though you don’t deserve or just to inflict pain. But it means that by his chastisements he shows that he has a parental care for us. He does not treat us with neglect and unconcern. The very fact that he corrects us shows that he has towards us a father’s feelings  and exercises towards us a parental care. If He did not care for us then he would let us go on without any attention, and leave us to pursue, a course of sin that would lead us to ruin our lives.

My Dear Brothers and Sisters, God scourges every one whom he acknowledges   as his child. The Bible clearly says, For whom the Lord loves He corrects. Just as a father,   the son in whom He delights, practically we learn obedience by the things which we suffer from. All men are not the objects of God’s love. Only a special people whom he has chosen for himself are scourged. Especially when they sin and walk against Him then He quickens and calls them by His grace. He justifies, pardons, and accepts them in Christ. And whom he causes to love these He loves with an everlasting love. Now these who are  chastened by Him,  He loves them,  while they are being chastened.

My Dear Brothers and Sisters, many men of God have been chastened by God in Bible times. Yet they proved victorious in life. Joseph was thrown into the pit by his own brothers, Later they sold him to   the Egyptian merchants   for 20 shekels of silver. In Egypt he was accused by  Potiphar’s wife and put in jail for no fault of his. Because he endured his trials patiently God exalted him to the post of Governor in Egypt. Likewise Daniel who was taken as captive at the age of 14 to Babylon,  stripped off his clothes and  his hands  tied by chains. He was faithful  to God and made a commitment that he would not defile himself with the portion of the kings delicacies. Daniel was a man of prayer. God gave him wisdom to interpret dreams and visions.  He humbled himself before God during the time of his trials. Hence God exalted him to the post of Prime minister in   Babylon.  The king   Nebuchadnezzar fell prostrate before Daniel and paid him honour.

My Dear Brothers and Sisters, one cannot forget the crude affliction of Job that he underwent. Job was chastened bitterly. He lost his children, his cattle his health and all his wealth. He was despised by his friends. He was mocked by his own wife. The Bible says, In all this Job did not sin nor charge God with wrong.  He never sinned   with his lips.  God   was pleased with Job   for he was blameless, and upright. And one who feared God and shunned evil. Therefore as soon as the period of trial was completed he found favour in the eyes of God. The Bible says, God blessed him before his friends   and relatives who criticised him. And the Lord restored Job’s losses. He too was a man of prayer. Indeed the Lord gave twice as much as he had before. Hence the Lord blessed the latter days, of Job than his beginnings.

My Dear Brothers and Sisters, The Lord will bless you too in the same manner as He blessed Joseph, Daniel, and Job. If you listen to His word you will dwell safely and you will be secure without fear of evil. You need to   endure   patiently and sincerely the period of affliction or chastisement while God allows it in your life.  Then the Lord will honour you and your days of sorrow will turn to joy as it happened in the lives of these men of God. Call upon Him during the days of trouble. He will be very gracious to you, at the sound of your cry.  When He hears it, He will answer you.  Then   You will be exalted and honoured by God. People who rejected you will come back to you. Those who had hurt you will now reconcile with you.  God will reverse all situations in favour of you. So believe that God is able to perform all that He has promised you. God bless you.

Prayer:  Our   loving   heavenly Father, we   thank   You  for this blessed day.  Dear Lord thank You for correcting us and moulding us to the kind of vessel You want us to be. May we learn obedience through   sufferings   Help us to accept affliction without grudging.  Teach us to believe that all things work together for good to those who love God.

 In Jesus name we pray.

Amen.

Honour Your Parents

My Dear Brothers and Sisters, I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given for you today is from the book of Deuteronomy, 5:16, “ Honour Your Father and your Mother, as the Lord your God has commanded you,  that your days may be long and that it may be well with you, in the land, which the Lord your God is giving you.”

My Dear Brothers and Sisters, from the above context, we understand that God expects that we honour our father and mother. The Bible says, every person  must  respect his mother and his father. Apostle Paul to the church of Colossae, admonishes that not only adults but children too need to obey their parents in all things, for this is well pleasing unto the Lord.  The Bible says, “Honour Your father and mother and he who speaks evil of father or mother, will be punished.” Again it says, “Honour your father and mother, that your days, may be prolonged in the land which the Lord your God gives you.”This shows that God is very much concerned about parents and their relationship with their children.

My Dear Brothers and Sisters, who are reading this message, do you want to be blessed in your life, and then you must obey your parents.  Only then you will be blessed by God. Never argue with your parents. Never put conditions to them.  God will not be pleased with it.  If God should be pleased with you, then honour your father, and mother and keep them happy then you will be blessed. Think if you have cheerfully obeyed all the instructions of your parents?  Whether you have loved and honoured your parents? Did you meet all their wants? Have you behaved with your parents with all gentleness and affection?  Have you prayed for them ?

My Dear Brothers and Sisters,  We need to create positive thoughts about our parents. Understand where they originally come from, their family background. When you inquire about their family details they will be so pleased to share their thoughts and views. Create an interest in knowing them fully well. Talk to them constantly, Express your gratitude to them and appreciate every little thing they do for you. Always have loving and forgiving spirit towards your parents, and forgive them if they seem to have wronged you in any way.  Many of you are longing to hear the voice of God. You want God to speak to you. Sometimes you approach saints and prophets to inquire if God would speak to you   or if you could listen to the voice of God.

My Dear Brothers and Sisters, God is speaking to you through this message, regarding your relationship with your parents, and God.  You may be wondering if God would talk to you regarding your future, or about the plan of God for your life. Once God comes into your life, then surely He will  talk to you about  your future.  God promises you  the same assurance which God made to Jacob. “Behold I am with you, And will keep you wherever you go. I will bring you back into this land. I will not leave you, until I have done what I have spoken to you.” Which means   whatever   plans God has for you, will be fulfilled  according to His time. He will liberate you from the problems that you are entangled with. God will not only protect you, but also bless you with a bright future. He will never leave you nor forget you. God bless you.

Prayer:  Our loving  heavenly  Father, we thank you for this blessed day. Help us to be obedient to our parents. Teach us to honour and respect our parents. To treat them well and keep them happy especially when they grow old. Never to neglect them, argue or put conditions to them rather be kind and helpful to them. May we forgive them and show love and care for them.

 In Jesus name we pray.

Amen.

Barrier Breaker

My dear Brothers and sisters in Christ,

I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus. I asked the Lord, as to what auspicious word he had for my children this day. The word which the Lord gave us is from the book of “Micah 2:13  The One Who Breaks open will come up before them, they will break out, Pass through the gate. And go out by it. Their king will pass before them, With the Lord at their head.”  In order to break the barriers seen in your life, the God Who Breaks Open and who lives in our life, will walk in front of you today.

What will happen when God walks before you? He will break open and enter through the gates that are shut in your life. You will enter into the gates holding hands with Jesus. As God lead the people of Israel from the bondage of Egypt, to a land flowing with milk and honey; so will He lead you to the land of where you will be blessed.  2 Corinthians 4:8 says: We are hard pressed on every side, yet not crushed; We are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed. The God who protects you from all side is going before you to break your barriers.

Micah 2:13 says, The   One Who breaks open goes before you. Today, there might be children facing different kinds of obstacles in their studies. Some children may face problems in their admission. Don’t worry if you have not obtained a seat in a college. If God decides it today, it can take place. If there are barriers standing against the happenings of good things in the family, God will break all the barriers.

You will eat the fruit of your hard work. Today, God will perform miracles in your life by breaking all the obstacles.

Expect a breakthrough in your life today.

God Bless You.

PRAYER: Loving Lord Jesus,I come before thy presence, seeking your blessings for my children. Father, I pray that you will break open the barriers in their life and open the new doors of blessings for my children.

In Jesus name I ask and pray.

Amen.

Bring up Your Children In The Fear Of God.

I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given for you , today is from the book of Proverbs 22:6 “ Train up a child in the way he should grow, And when he is old, he will not depart from it. ”

From the above passage we understand that we need to train up our children in the way we should. Both in the fear and the knowledge of God. The Bible says, A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches, and loving favour rather than silver and gold. Therefore we should be more careful to grow our children in such a way that they may get and keep a good name, rather than to raise them up to a great estate. So we need to train children, not in the way they would go, that of their corrupt hearts, but in the way they should go; in which, if you love them, you would have them go. As soon as possible every child should be led to the knowledge of God. Sin is foolishness, it is in the heart, and there is an inward inclination to sin: children bring it into the world with them; and it cleaves close to the soul. We all need to be corrected by our heavenly Father. We are but stewards, and must distribute what God entrusts to our care, according to his will.
Parenting takes about eighteen years to finally figure out, what sort of children we have grown them to be. When they reach -adult “teenagers,” we scratch our heads and pull out our rapidly greying hair. Then and only then, about the time they turn eighteen, it dawns on us that we have graduated our children to good or bad adults. These words, “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it,” sounds so simple, but takes time to really know how good or bad your daughter or son is.

Paul tells us to, “bring up our children up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord” So, we bring them to church and send them to Sunday school. When bed time comes we pray the Lord’s Prayer together with them. Our speech, our moods, our preferences, our quirks, our outbursts soak them all in and replicate them in their own tiny lives. You see, we’re never training our children in the right way. It just so happens that some of the training is undesirable at best and downright despicable at worst.

And while we’re thanking God, let’s thank him for the promise in Proverbs 22:6, which really means “Dedicate a child according to His way: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” In other words, “Dear parents, your own children are not your own. They are more importantly, Heavenly Father’s children. You love them, of course, but God loves them more, loves them perfectly. His gracious will is to dwell within them, to make their very bodies and souls and hearts and minds a temple of his Spirit. So dedicate them to that way, to that divine life, to him who formed them in the womb and claimed them on the cross.”As important as the training of your children is, much more important is handing them over to God—from the very beginning, from infancy, and beyond.

May the Lord help you to grow your children in the right way that they may bring glory and honor to you parents. God bless you.

Prayer: Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Lord, teach us to bring up our children in the fear and knowledge of God. That would help them to get a good name in the society. Teach us to train up our children in the way they should go. Help us to understand our children better and not just underestimate them. May we be role model for them to grow as better citizens, and true Christian. In Jesus name we pray,

Amen.
