I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given for you today is from the book of Psalms 41:1 “ Blessed are those who have regard for the weak; the Lord delivers them in times of trouble.”
The Bible says, blessed is he that considers the poor. The poor intended, are such as are poor in substance, weak in bodily strength, despised in repute, and desponding in spirit. These are mostly avoided and frequently scorned. The sick and the sorry are poor company, and the world deserts them as the Amalekite left his dying servant behind, during the battle. Those who possess divine grace receive a tender nature, and are not hardened against the poor, they undertake the cause of the downtrodden, and turn their hearts and minds seriously to the promotion of their welfare. They do not toss them a penny and go on their way, but enquire into their sorrows, sift out their cause, study the best ways for their relief, and practically come to their rescue:
Far above all others, one who considered, in tender compassion for the needy, is our Lord Jesus. For He remembered our low estate, that though he was rich, for uplifting our life. He weighed our case and came in the fullness of wisdom to execute the wonderful work of mercy by which we are redeemed from our destructions. Our wretched state of life caused Him to take pity on us. Our misery moved his mercy, and blessed be the Lord, for his attentive care and wise action towards us. He still considers us; his mercy is always available to us. So let our praises be unto Him.
The Lord will deliver those who consider the poor, in times of trouble. The compassionate friend of the poor thought of others, and therefore God will think of him. God measures to us with our own bushel. Days of trouble come even to the most generous. The promise is not that the generous saint shall have no trouble, but that he shall be preserved in it, and in due time brought out of it. And this is very true of our Lord Jesus Christ. God expects us to be considerate towards the poor. The hard hearted soul knows nothing of selfishness bears in itself a curse, it is a cancer in the heart; while liberality is happiness, and makes fat the bones.
We see how God honoured Cornelius and his family. Cornelius was a Roman centurion who is considered to be the first Gentile to convert to the faith, as told in the book of Acts. He and all his family were devout and God-fearing; he gave generously to those in need and prayed to God regularly. One day at about three in the afternoon he had a vision. He distinctly saw an angel of God, who came to him and said, “Cornelius!”, “Your prayers and gifts to the poor have come up as a memorial offering before God. He sent men to visit Apostle Peter. And the men told Peter, “We have come from Cornelius the centurion. He is a righteous and God-fearing man, who is respected by all the Jewish people. “Cornelius was expecting the men and had called together his relatives and close friends. As Peter entered the house, Cornelius met him and fell at his feet in reverence. Cornelius and all his family were baptized. Thus we see how God blessed the house of Cornelius because he considered the poor and gave alms. May God help you also to be kind generous and consider the poor, the orphans and the widows . God Bless you.
Prayer: Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Thank You Lord for teaching us through this message the importance of helping the poor. Give us a heart to consider the poor and the down trodden. The widows and orphans. Thank You Lord for helping us in trouble because we show kindness to the poor. May we not toss them a penny and go on our way, but enquire into their sorrows, sift out their cause, study the best ways for their relief, and practically come to their rescue
In Jesus Name We Pray.
Amen.
I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our God, who created and formed us and who never ever forgets us. The blessed word that God has given for you, today is from the book of Jeremiah 29:11, “ For I know the thoughts that I think towards, you thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.”
From the above context we see how the Lord, thinks about us and his thoughts towards us is different from ours and His thoughts are of peace and not of evil. He wants to give you a future, and a hope. Many of you reading this message are having great expectation and desires and want it to be fulfilled. So you are reading this message with much plans in your mind, regarding the future of your children and your that of yours too. Every individual has problems in life. And therefore you expect God to do something for you or your children. It is true that each one of you wants to do well in life.
You are looking for a change, you are expecting some kind of blessing to happen in your life. You are reading this message with great faith that God would, do something good for you. Therefore God, who is able to read your mind set and also understand your thoughts afar off, has decided to come down and give you the desires of your heart, according to your expectation. May be you are thinking how nice it would be if God did what you wanted to have concerning your family, your children, your business, your future. Every individual has plans. The children, youngsters, women, men of all age be it young or old. You may be even senior citizens, or preachers or someone in the ministry, but all have plans, desires and wants that need to be fulfilled. Some hope and have expectation within your mind and your heart. And God is fully aware of your plans and intentions. God says, “I know the thoughts that I think towards you. They are thoughts of peace and not of evil. ”He who knows your frame and has drawn you in the palm of His hands will he not know your thoughts?
God knows what you have been thinking over many months, many years, may be over a period of sixty years, or for the past six months and what you have been thinking six hours ago or even six minutes ago. He is aware of all your thinking. He knows all your thoughts. There is nothing hidden from His sight. You are saying, “Will anything good happen in my life? Or will my life go a waste? Will I pass my days like vapour? or like smoke? What will God do for me a worm and reproach of all men? Well our God is an awesome God. He is Bigger than all your problems, He does things beyond our thinking. Saul, he was an ordinary man and was out in search of his ass, or donkey, met prophet Samuel on his way. God had already spoken to the prophet, about Saul who was well built, tall and handsome and God had chosen him to be the first king of Israel because the people of Israel wanted a king for themselves like all other nations. And Saul who went in search of his donkey was anointed as the king of Israel. Saul never thought of becoming the king, But God had a plan for him that was for his good and not for evil. Thus we see that God has a plan for each one of us that will be for our good and not for evil. Believe in God with all your heart and mind then He will change the situation of your life within a moment. Believe and receive the blessing of God.
Prayer: Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Dear Lord we thank you for your thoughts towards us, thoughts of peace and not of evil. You have thoughts about us, to give us a future and a hope. Help us to lean on God and trust Him at all times. Believe that He will do all things well for us and our children. Make us to know Your will for us in our lives and not be hasty in our decision and come to wrong conclusion about God’s plan for us.
In Jesus name we pray,
Amen.
Dearly Beloved, I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given for you today is from the book of Psalms 90:14,15, “ Oh Satisfy us early with your mercy. That we may rejoice and be glad all our days. Make us glad according to the days, in which You have afflicted us. And the years in which we have seen evil. ”
This is a prayer of Moses offered to the Lord during his journey in the wilderness. In this verse, Moses emphasises his desire to the Lord regarding the people of Israel. He wanted the people, who came along with him, with a hope of living a life of freedom in the land flowing with milk and honey. He says; make us glad according to the days, wherein we have been afflicted. The People of Israel had lived a cruel life in the land of Egypt. They were in bondage for nearly 430 years. They were not only in bondage but also were tortured severely by them. The Bible tells, that they were so burdened and crushed down that they cried out to the Lord. Moses actually pleads the Lord on their behalf to help them see better days. Moses desired that God would bring an end to all their tribulation.
Dearly Beloved, you too might have been crying out to the Lord for several years, regarding your problems that you are facing. And you might not have received an answer to your prayers. The Lord is saying that He is going to put an end, to all your problems. From today, you are going to be glad all the days of your life. But you need to beg to the Lord through the help of the Holy Spirit; for comfort and joy in the returns of God’s favour. You must pray for the mercy of God. The Bible says, you cannot do anything without the help of God. Unless God shows His compassion, you cannot see better days in your life. Moses realized this truth, so he calls upon the name of God. For he knew that God’s favour would be a full fountain of future joys. It would be a sufficient balance to former grief’s. Let the grace of God in us produce the light of good works. And let Divine consolations put gladness into our hearts, and lustre upon our countenances. He cries out to God, saying Lord establish the work of our hands. Instead of wasting our precious, fleeting days in pursuing fancies of the world, help us to seek the forgiveness of sins, and an inheritance in heaven. Let us pray that the work of the Holy Spirit may appear in converting our hearts, and that the beauty of holiness may be seen in our conduct.
My Dear Brothers and Sisters, Just as God sent Moses to deliver the people of Israel from their bondage, the Lord is going to satisfy you with His abundant mercies, that will cause you to rejoice in the Lord. He will wipe away all the tears from your eyes. He will put gladness in your heart. He will set you on the rock and fill your mouth with His praises. He will change your sorrow into joy and place new grace upon you every day. Grace is the gift that the Lord gives to you when you are not worthy of it. You might have faced a lot of disappointments in life, and hence filled with sorrow. Today the Lord is about to perform a miracle for you. God wants to grant you gladness according to the days in which you have suffered in your life. For our God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that you ask or think. He will do great things in your life.
May be until yesterday all the things were against you. Nothing seemed to work as you had desired and therefore you had to go through very hard and difficult times in life. Your own relatives whom you trusted would have come against you and has brought you down to this poor state. They would have blocked all your progress in life. They would have exploited you for their benefit, and would have thrown you out. They might have caused deep wound or scars in your life. They are jealous of your hard work. But God will neither leave you nor forsake you. He will hold you by His righteous right hand and lead you. He will never fail you. He will help you to get back all that you have lost in your life. All you need to do is to cry out to God and tell Him of your condition, as the people of Israel cried unto the Lord. He will immediately respond to your cry and help you see good days in life. May the Lord help you to cry out to God for help. God Bless you.
Prayer: Our loving Heavenly Father, we thank you for this blessed day. Lord you have seen our troubles and pain that we have endured all these years. Lord we pray that you may fill us with your abundant mercies and grace every morning and satisfy us with gladness all the days, of our lives. Lord let the days of disaster come to an end in our life and help us to see good days in our life. Shower your unfailing love upon us.
In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
Dearly Beloved in Christ, I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our God, who created and formed us and who never ever forgets us. The blessed word that God has given for you, today is from the book of Isaiah 43:1, “ But now thus says the Lord, he who created you, O Jacob, he who formed you, O Israel: Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are mine.”
The Bible says that God calls every star by name – but we are His children and the sheep of His pasture. He bought us with a price, so God can rightfully declare, you are MINE. Indeed, He not only knows us, each by name, but He also calls us by name, for He is the Good Shepherd. He knew us before we were born and scheduled each day of our lives. He knows the number of hairs on our head and collects our tears in a bottle. Let us not only read these words of comfort but wholeheartedly believe them, for the One Who created us in Christ Jesus has also said: Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; you are Mine.
God’s favour and good-will to his people speak abundant comfort to all believers. God has set apart for himself, all who have been redeemed with the blood of His Son. Those that have God for them as their support need not fear who or what can be against them. Even all the wealth of Egypt and Ethiopia, all their lives and treasures, cannot be compared with that of the blood of Christ. True believers are precious in God’s sight and God delights in them, above any people. Therefore when these believers passed through fire and water, God was with them, and they need not have to fear any evil ;for God brought them out from all their hurdles safely.
Are you living in fear? Do you have to pay back your loan amount? Are the creditors threatening you? Are you going through mental depression, just because someone hurt you? Are you sick of your family problems? Are you worried about the future of your children? Whatever problem you may be going through, fear not, for God is on your side, the author and finisher of your faith. He will surely deliver you from all your troubles. God bless you.
Prayer: Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Thank You Lord , for being a Good Shepherd to us. Thank You for Your gracious promises, not only to the people of Israel but to all the believers in Christ. Thank You because all Your promises are “Yes” and “Amen” in Christ. Thank You for saying “You Are Mine.” Lord we acknowledge Your power and authority and Your assurance for us. Ft
In Jesus name we pray.
Amen.
Dearly Beloved, I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given for you today is from the book of Philippians 4:4 “Rejoice In The Lord Always. Again I will say, Rejoice.”
From the above context we learn that God expects us to be glad and rejoice in the Lord our God always. Here we see Paul speak to the Philippian church, asking them to stand fast in the Lord. He implores both Euodia, and Syntyche his beloved followers to be of the same mind in the Lord. He also urges them to help some of the women who laboured with him and Clement in his ministry and the rest of his fellow workers. Apostle Paul encourages them to rejoice in the Lord always. He tells them, “Let your gentleness be known to all men.”
From the above context we are called to rejoice in the Lord, to pray without ceasing, and in everything to give thanks to the Lord our God, for the joy of the Lord is our health and strength, and His mercy endures forevermore. We are exhorted to rejoice in the Lord and to take refuge in Him, for He has done wonderful things for all who have trusted in the name of His dearly beloved Son. We should lift up our voices in an everlasting song of praise because we who were once dead in sins have been justified and are being transformed into the very image and likeness of our Saviour Jesus Christ.
In Christ there is sanctification, glorification, and a joint relationship with the Son of the most High God. By His goodness and grace we have been seated in heavenly places in Christ – to His praise and glory, forever and ever. True joy and genuine happiness is a gift of grace from our heavenly Father, for genuine joy and true happiness is a heavenly grace we receive from the Spirit of God, as we walk in spirit and truth and live in newness of life. Joy is a fruit that the Lord produces within our heart, but the world cannot know anything about it.
The Joy of the Lord is a precious fruit and a spiritual grace that is given to us from above. The joy of the Lord is our strength in times of weakness and protection in times of danger. Joy of the Lord is a gift of God to the justified and a fruit of the Spirit to the sanctified man. This heavenly joy can be maintained in the midst of all afflictions and distresses, for the joy of the Lord is our everlasting hope and strength. Are you going through strife and struggle? Is there no joy in your life? Have you lost your dear one or have you lost your job? Is your business at a loss?
Turn to the Lord Jesus Christ. For the continual love of God will reveal His promises and plans for your life. The surpassing intimate fellowship with God will help you to see success in your life. God will turn your sorrow into joy the moment you receive Jesus as your Lord and Saviour. Let us rejoice in the Lord always -as Apostle Paul exhorts us to rejoice in the Lord. For Nehemiah says , “Do not sorrow for the joy of the Lord is your strength. “For the Lord our God is a great and awesome God, and a great King above all gods!
Prayer: Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Lord we thank you for Paul who admonishes his fellow believers to rejoice in the Lord always. Loving Father thank You for Your gift of joy and for Your fruit of rejoicing. Help us to take all our thoughts before God, especially those doubts and imaginings that are prompted by the enemy to steal away from us the heavenly gift of joy that is ours in Christ. Thank You, Father, that You are worthy of all our praise and that Your joy is a heavenly medicine that strengthens our trust and increases our love for You. May we never cease to rejoice in You all the days of our life.
In Jesus’ name we pray,
Amen
