Dearly Beloved, I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given for you today is from the book of Isaiah 46:4, “Even to your old age, I am He, and even to gray hairs I will carry you! I have made, and I will bear; Even I will carry, and will deliver you. Saith the Lord. I am your God and ye are my people”.
From the above context we learn about God’s love for us and how he cares for us even in our old age. He doesn’t forsake us. The Bible says, The Lord will vindicate His people, and have Compassion on His servants. The Lord will take care of his children even when they are old and grey headed.
It has always been a great comfort to realise that we are fearfully and wonderfully made, and that the Lord knows us before we were born, for it is He who formed us in our mother’s womb. Indeed, He has scheduled every day of our lives, watches over our every movement and faithfully remains with us, even when we wander far away from Him. The above verse assures us, that it is not only our early years about which the Lord is concerned; But He is with us every day of our lives, from the cradle to the grave. He cares for us from the womb to the tomb; from start to finish – from birth to death and for every day and season in between.
The Lord is not only interested in us during the initial days, of youth; our years of vigorous actions; or our blushing adult activities – when we are passing through the prime of life. He also is deeply interested in us as we advance into our twilight years -and even on into the frailty of old age. The Lord loves and cares for each one of us when our hair has turned gray, our knees have grown feeble and our faces have become furrowed with wrinkles. He cares for us when our hands start to tremble, our mouths begin to dribble and our minds become increasingly confused and forgetful. And He has promised to carry us and care for us in every season of life, because He is our Father and we are His people. He has made us and He has promised to faithfully carry us; care for us; help us and deliver us, all the days of our life – until He takes us home.. to be with Himself, in heavenly glory.
I wish to encourage the elderly people of God who are reading this message, to be rest assured of God’s providence for you. Even when you go through pressing infirmities God supports you and cares for you. He considers you as His sons and daughters, the workmanship of His own hands. He is interested in your welfare. Therefore He says, I will bear you I will carry you, and will deliver you out of your entire affliction. Therefore cast all your cares upon Him for He cares for you. God Bless you.
Prayer : Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Lord thank you for taking care of us and our situation. Thank You Lord for comforting us through Your word, that You will help us and deliver us from all our troubles. You care for us not only when we are young and energetic but also when we grow weak and old in age. Thank You Father for Your constant care and faithfulness throughout our life. Thank You that You will never leave us nor forsake us, even when we become old and forgetful – We praise Your holy name.
In Jesus name we pray.
Amen.
Dearly beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, I greet and bless you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. The blessed word that the Lord has given for you today is from the book of 2 Kings 18:6-7, “He held fast to the Lord and did not stop following him; he kept the commands the Lord had given Moses. And the Lord was with him; he was successful in whatever he undertook”. As Ezekiel followed the commandments that the Lord gave to Moses, he has success in all that he undertook.
Many of you go towards your work with a hope that you will have success in all that you do. You might have got an unfavorable reply. As a result, you would have become broken hearted and would have lost all hopes. God has seen all your fears and failures. He is going to bring you out of all your struggles.
To have success in all that you do, you need to do two things. Firstly, you should not back slide from God. Secondly, you need to be a person who depends on God for all your needs. The bible tells us about the story of Samson. He was truthful and faithful in the sight of God. During the days when he depended of God for all his needs, all that he did prospered. He was a very strong man. There was no one who dared to stand before Samson because he had Jesus with him. But when the time he slid back from God and indulged himself in unrighteous activities, the presence of God departed from him. Because he deviated from the presence of God, everything that he did was unfavorable to him. Till that moment, his strength was God being with him. The book of Psalms 119:67 says, “Before I was afflicted I went astray”. When Samson went away from the presence of God, he faced many afflictions.
If you have gone away from the Lord and have done anything that displeases the Lord, turn from all your wrong doings. My dearly beloved, today you need to take a decision. Tell the Lord that you need favor in all that you do and repent for all your wrong doings. When you pray such a prayer, God will surely do everything in favor of you. If you wish to lead a successful life, bring an end to the days when you depended on man for everything. Keep God as your center and give Him your first priority. The Lord will be with you and will lift you up.
God bless you.
Prayer:
Our loving heavenly Father, we Thank You for this blessed day. I submit Your dear children into Your loving hands. You know their fears and failures Lord Jesus. I pray that You may bring them out from all their struggle. May You give them success in all that they do. May they flourish in life and reach great heights. Father, may You bless Your dear children and be a pillar of success in their lives. In Jesus name we pray,
Amen.
My Dear Brothers and Sisters, I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given for you today is from the book of Genesis 21:19 “Then God opened her eyes and she saw a well of water. So she went and filled the skin with water and gave the boy a drink. “
My dear Brothers and Sisters, from the above context we see how God provided water to the lad who was crying for water. If Hagar and Ishmael had cooperated in Abraham’s family they might have continued there. But it so happened they were compelled to leave. As a result they were brought to distress, in the wilderness. We do not know if their provisions were spent, or that Abraham sent them away without money. But the water in the skin was spent. And having lost their way, in that hot climate, Ishmael was soon overcome with fatigue, and thirst.
My Dear Brothers and Sisters, God by His immense power could open mountains in the midst of the valleys, and can make the wilderness a pool of water. Knowing the agony of Hagar and hearing the cry of the lad, God opened her eyes, and she saw a well of water. Hagar was not really blind for God to open her eyes. Rather her eyes must have swelled with weeping and crying that she failed to see the spring of water just before her. The moment her eyes were opened she ran to fetch the water and gave the water to the lad, and his thirst was quenched and he was refreshed and he recovered from fainting. He was restored to health again.
My Dear Brothers and Sisters , God’s readiness to help us when we are in trouble, are sometimes not noticed by us at times for lack of understanding. Immediately the angel directs Hagar to the spring of water. God sends His angels as a flame of fire to assist his children. For He hears the cry of the afflicted. Though there was a spring of water, Hagar was not aware of it. Unless and until God opened her eyes to see the spring of water. Thus we see that the Lord was concerned about the lad, for God had designed a greater purpose for him. Often we too fail to recognize the comfort or remedy that is available to us by God.
My Dear Brothers and Sisters are you experiencing such severe and harsh situation, like Hagar in the wilderness. Well, God knows your affliction, he will carry you through in the midst of all struggles and problems. Cast your burden upon the Lord and He will sustain you, for He cares for you. In the same manner God will meet all your needs. God says, “For I will pour water upon him that is thirsty.”
God bless you.
Prayer:
Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Thank You for hearing the cry of the afflicted and providing water for the lad who was dying of thirst. Just as You opened the eyes of Hagar open our eyes that we may see Your good works. And your provision of remedy for us. Teach us to cry out to You in times of trouble. Revive us Oh Lord.
In Jesus name we pray.
Amen.
I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given for you today is from the book of Revelation 3:8 , “I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name.“
From the above context we learn that Christ speaks through the words of John the Elder, in the book of Revelation, to the seven churches, saying, “I know your works.”God wanted the people to know that no human works are needed for attaining Salvation. Many people were simply confused about receiving Salvation. Salvation is indeed a free gift of God. It cannot be earned by anyone’s works. God wanted the people to have Salvation as part of their way of life. No amount of work, no degree of quality of work, can earn that gift for us. This is what God offers us. He offers us the opportunity to be born again into the Kingdom of God. Salvation is a free gift of God, and to receive this Salvation all you need is an open heart. This is the open door kept before you.
Jesus did not censure the church at Philadelphia neither did He rebuke the church in Smyrna. Jesus said, “’ I know your works” Because nothing escapes the notice of the Lord Jesus. Nothing that goes on in any churches has ever passed His attention. Jesus knows. There is nothing that He does not know. Jesus knows their “works.” He knows how they produce. So He says, “ See, I have set before you an open door”. Jesus, therefore provides favourable conditions for serving him. In the face of adversaries, He gives opportunities to serve Him.
Open doors are something that Jesus gives out of His grace. We do not earn or deserve the right to serve Him. Our opportunities for service to God are unadulterated gifts of grace from the Lord Jesus. The word “open” means a door that Jesus opened in the past with the result that the door still stands open. God opens doors of positive volition as He did for Nineveh, where an entire city came to God. And when God decides to open the door, He also keeps these doors open, and no one can shut it. No force, whether man or Satan, can shut a door, that Jesus opens.
My Dear Brothers and Sisters, Have you ever decided to enter this door. Jesus opens doors of opportunity because of prayer. Do you pray for opportunities? God is responsible for opening doors of opportunity if people open their hearts to Him. When God opens these doors, no opposition will stop your service for Him. Although you may not have much strength, God will use you.
God knows your frame and remembers your service to Him. He knows your strength. God told Gideon, “Go in this might of yours, and you shall save Israel, from the hand of the Midianites. Have I not sent you? ” Yes, any service you do for the Lord must be acknowledged by God. Only then you will find success in your life. Jesus has the key of government and authority in and over the church. He opens a door of opportunity to his people, he opens a door to his ministers; he opens a door of entrance, opens the heart. He shuts the door of heaven against the foolish, who sleep away their day of grace; and against the workers of iniquity, how vain and confident so ever they may be. The church in Philadelphia was commended by God yet with a gentle reproof. Although Christ accepts a little strength, yet believers must not rest satisfied in a little, but strive to grow in grace, to be strong in faith, giving glory to God
Has the doors of opportunity been closed in your life? Has the doors been shut that you cannot open by your skill? By your own strength then wait on the Lord, who gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. God will not only open the doors for you to secure a good job, but will also provide the Visa for you to go abroad. He will also help you to take your family and settle abroad. All you need to do is to allow God to come into your heart. Once He comes inside of you, then you will experience a great change in your life. He will work miracles for you. He says, “Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask and you will receive, that your joy may be full.” When you make “prayer your life style” and pray to the Lord then, all the doors that had been closed until yesterday, will begin to open and you shall glorify God. May the Lord help you to be like the church at Philadelphia who were true to the truth by being faithful to the Word of God. God Bless you.
Prayer: Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Lord thank you for revealing to us how the churches ought to be. For telling us that you have kept open doors of opportunity for us to serve you even though we have little strength. Help us to be true to your word, even in the face of opposition. May we allow Jesus to come into our heart. And thus receive the blessings He has kept in store for us.
In Jesus name we pray.
Amen.
I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given for you today is from the book of Job 5:9 which says, “He does wonders beyond numbers.”
From the above verse we understand that our God does wonders or miracles for those who put their trust in Him. Job was badly affected by the loss of his wealth, property and his ten children on the very same day. He couldn’t bear the crisis, yet He boldly said, the Lord gave and the Lord has taken. He was confident that God was able to do miracles for him and get back all that he had lost in his life. According to this verse God is going to do miracles for you, and your children. Our God does not tell lies. Our God is good. He is a good God. He does instant miracles. If you believe you will see the glory of God. God says, that He will perform miracles to those who humble themselves on their knees.
Job’s friend Eliphaz, reminds Job, that no affliction comes by chance, but by committing sin. As Job was going through severe affliction, his friends started criticising him. They blamed him that he should have committed some crime to suffer such affliction. The difference between prosperity and adversity is not so easily observed, as that between day and night, summer and winter; but it is according to the will and counsel of God. But Job did not sin against God. At the end Job was blessed in a double measure.
God says, He will hold your hands and lead you. He will perform many miracles for you before the very eyes of all the people who once cursed you, because of jealousy. Many considered you useless and good for nothing. Such people shall see you being exalted in the days to come since you have come under the wings of the mighty God of Israel, to take refuge. All those who caused pain to you shall see you. All those who despised you shall see you. God says, “Until I accomplish this promise, I will neither leave you nor forsake you. ” So be confident in the Lord like Job. God will bless you with double fold blessings.
Prayer: Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Lord help to acknowledge You as our Lord and Master even though we go through troubles and trials. May we have the patience to endure all the sufferings that we go through. Teach us to wait on the Lord in prayer and supplication. And thus renew our strength in God as Job did and therefore he was blessed a double fold. Bless us too as you had blessed him.
In Jesus name we pray.
Amen.
