God will exalt you

My dear Brothers   and sisters   in Christ,   I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord.  The blessed word that God has given you for today is from the book of,  Genesis 31:42,  “If the God of my father, the God of Abraham and the fear of Isaac, had not been with me, you would surely have sent me away empty handed. But God has seen my hard ship and the toil of my hands, and last night He rebuked you”.

“My Dear Brothers and Sisters, From the above context we understand that if only  the God of Abraham  had not been with Jacob,  Laban would  have harmed him. Jacob  believed  that since God of his father, the God of Abraham, and the fear of Isaac had been with him, and because he feared and served with reverence and godly fear, and unless his father’s God had been on his side and had protected him and preserved  him his uncle Laban, would have sent, him away empty handed.

My   Dear Brothers and Sisters,  We   see  in   this passage, that Jacob decided to return to his father,  Isaac,  to the land of Canaan.    So he set His  sons, and his wives on camels,  he carried away all his livestock  and all his possessions  which  he had gained in  Padan  Aram while  working    with   his  uncle  Laban.    Jacob had not  told  his uncle that he had decided  to flee to his home  town.  He  fled  with all that he had, He crossed the river, and headed towards the mountains of Gilead.  On hearing the escape of Jacob,     Laban overtook   Jacob and   pitched   his   tents in the mountains of   Gilead,   with   his  brethren.   Laban   said   to   Jacob,  “ It  is  in my  power to do you harm,  but  God  warned  me not to speak neither  good, nor bad.”   Jacob   answered   to   Laban   by   the above words,    saying, “God had seen my hardship and the toil of my hands, hence He has rebuked you last night.”

My Dear Brothers and Sisters,  Jacob had strong faith that God who called him was  faithful.   He faced many hardships, in his uncles place. His  wages  had been changed several times.  Inspite  of  his hard work, his  uncle  Laban  refused to be kind  to   him. Rather he dealt rudely with him. On hearing that Jacob was escaping  Laban  chased him   but God prevented him from harming, Jacob. In the same way,  God  will  put  an  end  to  all  those  who  are planning to do evil against you. God says, “No weapon formed   against you shall prosper.

“Dear Brothers and Sisters, You might be going through terrible situation,   at your work spot, Or you are broken hearted because of  financial  crisis. You might have to pay back huge debts.   Or   you    have   a problem with your relationship . So you are quite disturbed and even think why should I  go through all this.    Won’t God intervene and help me come out of all my problems.  God is always willing to help you when you surrender your lives to Jesus. Therefore cast all your cares upon  Him for he cares for you. Be sober, be vigilant, be steadfast in faith . Resist the devil, and humble yourselves, in the mighty hands of God. Then the Lord will exalt you in due time. For He raises the poor out of the dust, He lifts the needy, out of the ash heap. So cast your care upon him and He will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved.

Prayer:  Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Thank you Lord for being mindful of us. You protected Jacob from his cruel   uncle  Laban.    In the same way Lord protect and safeguard us from  the hands of all the evil people.  Surround us with Your mercy. Help us to be vigilant and steadfast in our faith. Teach us to humble ourselves   in the mighty hands of God that we may be exalted.

 In Jesus name we pray.

Amen.

FORGIVE ONE ANOTHER

I greet and bless you in the name of our Creator, Maker, and ever unforgettable Lord Jesus Christ. The blessed word that the Lord has given   for you today is from the book of Matthew 18: 27, “Then the lord of that servant, was moved with compassion, and loosed him, and forgave him the debt. “

From the above context we learn that Jesus was a God of compassion. He   had a heart of forgiveness and whenever someone came to Him for help, He immediately forgave their sins and also helped them.  He healed them, and restored to them what they had lost in life.   Just    then Peter came to him, and said, Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Till seven times? Jesus said   unto him, I say not unto you, until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven. He continued saying  that the kingdom of heaven  is  likened unto a certain king, which would take account of his servants.  And when he had begun to reckon, one was brought unto him, which owed him ten thousand talents.  But since he was unable to pay back his lord commanded him to be sold, and his wife, and children, and all that he had, and payment to be made.

The servant therefore fell down, and worshipped him,  saying, Lord, have patience with me, and I will pay thee all. Then the lord of that servant was moved with compassion, and loosed him, and forgave him the debt. But the same servant went out, and found one of his fellow servants, which owed him an hundred pence: and he laid hands on him, and took him by the throat, saying, “Pay me all  that   you  owe me.”    And his fellow servant fell down at his feet, and besought him, saying, “Have patience with me, and I will pay thee all.” But he would not: but went and cast him into prison, till he should pay the debt.   So when his fellow servants saw what was done, they were very sorry, and came and told unto their lord all that was done. Then his lord, after that he had called him, said unto him, O thou wicked servant, I forgave thee all your debt, and should not you also have had compassion on your fellow servant, even as I had pity on you? And his lord was angry and delivered him to the tormentors, till he should pay all that was due unto him. Jesus said unto his disciples,” So likewise shall my heavenly Father do also unto you, if   you do not from your hearts,   forgive everyone his brother their trespasses or wrong doings.

Just like Jesus every true believer should, forgive one   another and love others.  People   living    near   you   should   know   that you   are a   God fearing person. You should be honest in your dealing. I know that many of you are doing business and you might lend or borrow money from others. In case someone has to return money back to you, please do not squeeze them. Instead give them some more time to return the money. By this you are helping your fellow men. If you pressurize, then they may curse you and your children. This will do no good to you and your family. So never be subjected to any sort of curse by others. It will endanger your life and that of your family. Suppose you have signed some document saying you will make payment to someone, and then make sure that you repay the amount as you have signed in the document. Suppose you have the money with you and you purposely refuse to pay back the money you have borrowed from someone then it will be a curse on you. So be careful to pay back the due which you owe to someone.

Once a friend of mine called up to me and said, that he had lent money to  his relative, but that person to whom he had lent money  does not even pick up the phone. And he does not wish to return the money. So this friend of mine tried calling him through some other phone number and told his relative to watch the “Tamilan Channel” and listen to Our programme so that by hearing  My  messages  he would realize his mistake and pay back the dues. His plan worked.   That couple not only watched our programme but also came to Me, for counselling. As a result God delivered them from all their debts. My friend got back all the money from his relative. God’s word has power to convict a sinner of his wrong deeds. So one must heed to God’s word, and live accordingly to receive the blessing of God.

Prayer:  Our   loving    heavenly   Father,   we thank   You   for this blessed day. Lord we thank you for teaching us,  how a Christian should be. May we abide by Your word and be honest in our dealings with others, especially with regard to money. Help us to forgive others and also give them sufficient time to repay the money.  Teach us to be truthful in our business centre and faithful with our fellow workers. May we thus, let others see Christ in us.

In Jesus Name We Pray.

Amen.

Wall of Fire

Dearly Beloved, I greet and bless you in the name of our Creator, Maker, and ever unforgettable Lord Jesus Christ. The blessed word that the Lord has given   for you today is from the book ofZechariah 2:4,5 , “For I, says the Lord, A   man went with a measuring line, in his hand to measure Jerusalem. God sent a prophet to tell the young man, that Jerusalem shall be inhabited, as   towns   without   walls, because of the multitude, of men   and   livestock   in it. For I, says the Lord, will be a wall of fire all around her.   And   I will be the glory in her midst.”

From the above context God says, that He will surround Jerusalem with a wall of fire and His glory will descend in the midst of the people. He will guard and protect the inhabitants   of Jerusalem, since   it   is a town   without walls, and has multitude of men and livestock. God says, He will descend upon the city in a glorious manner and will do marvelous things for His children today. Wherever you may be, today God has come into your midst gloriously.

If God himself, has put a hedge of fire around your house, and has come in the midst of your place, then keep the place Holy. To hold the glorious Lord in your house, your prayer centre, your business centre, and   in the place you stay   or go to stay ,  your   mouth should be filled with praise. You should always sing and praise the Lord, all the days of your life to see victory in your life in all that you do.  There should be voice of praise ringing in your house all the time. The Bible says, “Whoever offers praise glorifies Me. And to him who orders his conduct, aright, I will show the salvation of God.”

If you need the glory of God to remain in your house, then you need to glorify God, all the time.  But how will you glorify?  Through praise and worship. Then the Lord will be magnified. You can play good Christian songs in full volume and let it be heard in all the rooms. As the song   is   played, even your children will begin to sing as they get ready to school.  The entire house will be filled with the songs of praise in the air. This will help to keep all unwanted thoughts,   worries away from the members of your family. Instead all the members will be able to hear and enjoy the songs and at the same time praise the Lord.  The air in the house will be filled by the glory of God, in the early morning.  The Aroma of God and His presence will be felt in all the rooms of your house.

My beloved, You must have noticed how children begin to dance when music is played in your house. This is because,   music will create joy and energy, in  the mind, and hearts of the children. Children tend to catch up easily what you   play or watch in your TV . They will either be good or bad according to your way of bringing them up. If your house is filled with prayer and singing then they will grow as spiritual children growing in the fear of God, or they will grow as other worldly children. You need to be careful as to how you grow your children.  Whatever you desire to happen   can only be got  by praising God.   Children too from their childhood days,  will learn to sing and praise God. Even without their knowledge your house will be filled with the voice of praises. Then your house will be like a small heaven. The Bible says, He is a God who descends in the midst of praises. The Psalmist says, “My praise shall be of You in the great congregation.”

The Psalmist says, Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.  For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endures to all generations.  God Bless you.

Prayer:  Our   loving    heavenly   Father,   we thank   You   for this blessed day. Lord   through this message we understand how necessary it is to sing and praise You. We   are excited to know that you live in the midst of praises. We will praise you all the days of our life, for Your love and kindness. We shall glorify and exalt Your name, which are above all other names.  Let the Blessings of God enter our homes as we lift up our voices and praise the Lord who inhabits the praises of Israel.

In Jesus Name We Pray.

Amen.

I WILL DELIVER YOU

Dearly Beloved, I greet and bless you in the name of our Creator, Maker, and ever unforgettable Lord Jesus Christ. The blessed word that the Lord has given   for you today is from the book of Mark, 4:38,39.  “But He was in the stern, asleep on a pillow. And they awoke Him, and said to Him, “Teacher do you not care, that we are perishing. Then He arose and rebuked, the wind, and said to the sea,   “Peace be  still!” And the wind ceased, and there was great calm.  “

From the above context we learn that the disciples were afraid of the wind and the rough sea. They were in troubled waters; But Jesus calmed the sea, and brought peace in the mind of the disciples. They wondered at the power of Jesus. He had power to calm the wind and the sea. The ocean obeyed the Lord Jesus immediately.  The disciples asked the Lord, “Teacher do you not care about us perishing in the sea.? My Beloved children of God, It is not the plan of God that any should perish.  God desires that you live happily till God calls you into his bosom. He says, “Beloved, I pray that you may prosper, in all things, and be in health just as your soul prospers.”This is the desire of God.  One day Jesus was walking on the shores of Galilee. He was very tired so he got into a boat and began to sleep. He was sleeping on a pillow. And a great windstorm arose, and the waves beat into the boat. So that it was already filling, the boat was rocking to and fro. The waters lashed against the boat, so the boat began to   move   about vehemently. And the disciples became afraid, and perturbed.  So they woke up Jesus who was fast asleep and asked Him, “Teacher do you not care about us perishing?”

On hearing the cry of the disciples,   Jesus arose and rebuked, the wind, and said to the sea,   “Peace be  still!” And the wind ceased, and there was great calm. The disciples were filled with the fear of death. They thought that it was the end of their life. So they woke up Jesus from His sleep. Jesus rebuked the sea. The wind and the sea obeyed His voice. Because, “He spoke and it was done.   He commanded   and it stood fast.” The sea   became   calm, and they safely reached the shore.  Many of you who are reading this message , may be crying for fear of death    because  of  the  judgment  of your  long  pending case   due to an error committed  by   you   in  your   business   transaction or may be crying because of your debts.   You may have to pay a large amount to the money lender, who helped you in your business.   Some of you reading this message are thinking, “When will I come out of this shame and disgrace?”  Many of you are struggling   in your life in one way or other and wondering as  to  when will all your  problems come to an end. Jesus is looking at your problems and saying, “Peace be still.”     Just as there was calmness in the sea, after all the boisterous roaring of the sea, there will be calmness in your lives, in your families too, after all the chaos and commotion in your life. But for this you need to call upon God.

God has said in the Bible, “Call upon Me in the day of trouble, I will deliver you and You shall glorify Me.” The Lord who can calm the wind and sea has come into your life to bring calmness   and peace into your life. God who says, “ I AM WHO  I AM” is with you. So you need not have to fear. For God has not given us the spirit of fear but of sound mind , love and power. The Lord will surely take you to the destination, to the shore safely. You who are struggling in the deep sea, with so many problems, will reach the shore as Jesus has decided to stretch out His righteous right hand and rescue you from   the deep sea of pain and struggle because He is a God who brings out those who   are bound into prosperity. He is a very present help in trouble. He will be your refuge and strength. He will be your rock, and your salvation, and your defense in trouble, You shall not be moved if ,  “The Great I AM ” is with you. God Bless You.

Prayer:  Our   loving    heavenly   Father,   we thank   You   for this blessed day. Lord we thank you for revealing your power in the midst of the roaring sea. We   also thank You for removing the fear of   the disciples. You are great and awesome in Your doing. Help us to call upon You when we are in   trouble. To believe that You will help us in critical situation. Teach us to glorify Your name.

In Jesus Name We Pray.

Amen.

FEAR NOT

I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord.  The blessed word that   God   has given for you today is from the book of Genesis 21:17 “What Ails You Hagar? Fear Not, for God has heard the voice of  the Lad where he is.”

Dearly beloved, from the above context we learn that God knows our sufferings and our problems how small or big they might be. In the above context we see Hagar in the wilderness struggling with her son Ishmael who was crying for water. Since God had asked Abraham to send away Hagar and her son, he had no other choice but he obeyed the voice of God and took bread and a skin of water, he   gave it to her and sent them away. As the Lord God of Israel, had told Abraham, “In Isaac Your seed shall be called. God had predestined that   the children of Israel should come forth through only Isaac and not through Ishmael son of the bond woman.

Hagar helplessly departed and wandered in the wilderness of Beersheba. And the water in the skin got over and she had no water to drink. And so she placed the boy under one of the shrubs,   and she went, and sat down   a distance away from the lad as she could not bear the child crying for water. She said,” Let me not see the death of the child. And she sat over against him, and lifted up her voice, and wept.”And God heard the voice of the lad; and the angel of God called to Hagar out of heaven, and said unto her, What aileth you, Hagar? “Fear not; for God hath heard the voice of the lad where he is. Arise, lift up the lad, and hold him in your   hand; for I will make him a great nation. And God opened her eyes, and she saw a well of water; and she went, and filled the bottle with water, and gave the lad drink. And God was with the lad; and he grew, and dwelt in the wilderness, and became an archer.

What are you crying over? Here we see Hagar crying in need of water. She wanted to quench the thirst of her son, Ishmael who was traversing through the rugged wilderness. Many of you reading this message are crying over many things. May be,  because of a big loss in your business. You could not fish, as the waters are unsafe for fishing. Due to depression in the sea, the waters roared and the winds blew rough that you couldn’t make it. So you seem to have grown disappointed. You couldn’t make big money. You couldn’t settle your daughters in marriage. They are at the age of marriage, but you are still on the lookout for a proper match. May be your son has turned a drunkard and causes trouble both at home and outside. Because of his bad habit you earn bad reputation in the society and you are unable to stand any longer therefore you are hurt and crying over him as Hagar was crying for her son.

The Lord looking at you says, “Fear not, I will hold you by My Righteous right hand and lead you.” The seas may roar, the winds may blow in your life but fear not, for I am there with you.  So cast all your cares upon God for He cares for you. He will create a spring in the desert and quieten your problems. He will cause wind to blow from the earth below and satisfy your needs. For He is a God, who gives life to the dead, and calls those things which do not exist as though they existed. Just believe that He is able to do what he has promised.

Prayer: Our loving heavenly Father, we thank  You for this blessed day. Thank you Lord for causing a spring to rise in the desert and quench the thirst of the lad. Thank You for hearing the cry of Hagar. Hear our cry too and answer us speedily when we go through troubles. Take pity on us and help us  in times of affliction. Give us the desire to cry out to the Lord while we are in danger. Teach us to cast all  our burden upon Him.

In Jesus name we pray,

Amen.
