God honors His Children

Dearly beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, I greet and bless you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. The blessed word that the Lord has given for you today is from the book of Jeremiah 29:11 which says, For I know the thoughts that I think towards you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and hope. Many of us are worried about our future. We do not have a hope to live. But remember God promises us that He will give us a future and a hope. God will honor us in our family. God will make us to inherit name and fame within our family. God is concerned about our welfare, our future and prosperity.

The Bible in the following verses says in 3 John 2 , “Beloved I wish above all things that you   may prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers”.  Matthew 6:33 says, “But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well”. Psalm 34:10 says, “The lions may grow weak and hungry, but those who seek the LORD lack no good thing”.

God does not desire us to suffer in pain and agony instead He wants us to be blessed in every way. In order to make us rich He became poor. 2 Corinthians 8:9 says, “For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor”.

To inherit God’s blessing we have to come out of things that displeases God.  Job 1:1 says, Job was perfect and upright, He was blameless and one that feared God and shunned evil.  Job had to face difficult situations in his life yet when He stood firm to live a righteous life, God blessed him with double portion of blessing.

When we lead a righteous life, He will strengthen us and will help us. With His righteous right hand He will hold us and will lead us.

God bless you.

Prayer:

Our loving heavenly Father, we praise and thank You for Your goodness towards us. Help us to seek You and Your kingdom that we might inherit   the portion of Your blessing.  Help us to be acceptable in Your sight and well pleasing as true children of God. In Jesus name we ask and pray.

Amen.

Have faith, you will ‘live’:

I greet and bless you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. The blessed word that the Lord has given for you today is from the book of Hebrews 10:28, “just shall live by faith…”.

Dearly Beloved, You must trust in the Lord and His power and miracles, then you and your household will live. The Bible says:

His children are called “believers”.  The Lord says, “if you would believe you would see the glory of God.” So you should trust the Lord. You must believe, “He Himself took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses.” (Mathew 8:17).

God saved Noah and his family from a great flood – because he trusted God. The faith that he had was – “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” (Philippians 4:13). Even in his old age Noah when he received the warning from the Lord built the huge ark. God’s plan was fulfilled, and his family was saved from the flood.

Some years ago, an old man suffering from intestinal cancer was brought to our prayer tower by his two sons. The doctors had said he won’t survive past an hour and in this abandoned condition they had brought him to me. I asked him, “What should I pray for you?” He looked at me and said, “You have been the reason many have wiped away their tears, God should grant you a long life. This is my desire.” At that moment I only had a few chocolates in the table. I took one chocolate and gave it to this elderly man who was only consuming water for the past three months. I blessed this chocolate with the blood of Jesus and gave him the Mangala Vaarthai, “You will live, and you will not die and declare the works of God.” He started chewing the chocolate that I gave him and as he was consuming it, I could sense in my spirit the healing power of God descend on him. When his two sons came forward to lift him, he said “I can get up myself.” He went down the building by the elevator. He told his sons to buy him some idli  (rice cake) from the nearby restaurant and he ate well. It is 8 years since this happened, and the father is still alive and well. Yes, when you trust in the Lord, you will receive the same miracles in your life too.

When you trust God and His power and obey His commandments, He will cause you to live, prosper and prolong your days in the country where you live. Cling on to this Lord!

May God bless you abundantly! Amen.

Prayer:

Our Loving Heavenly Father, Give my children the grace to live lives that are pleasing in your sight alone! Help them to lead a life of faith, a life of obedience and a life of truth. Safeguard them and their household from all kinds of trouble. Be with them and guide them through out this month.

In Jesus name we pray

Amen.

MARVELLOUS GOD

I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord.  The blessed word that God has given for you today is from the book of Luke 5:2, “But that you may know that the son of Man has the power on earth to forgive sins. He said to the man, who was Paralyzed Arise take up your bed and walk.  Immediately he rose up before them took up what he had been lying on and departed to his own house glorifying God.”

2000 years ago, when Jesus Christ lived on this earth, He went about doing many good things besides preaching the gospel. He not only did many good things like, feeding the five thousand, healing the sick but also drove evil spirit. He restored demon possessed man and the woman with infirmity for 18 years. Thus He did miracles for the people wherever he went. Words will not be sufficient to tell all what Jesus did, while He was alive on this earth. The Bible says, Jesus came into this world, to preach good tidings to the poor. To heal the broken hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and to comfort all those who mourn.

In those days when people heard that Jesus was coming to any particular place, then a huge crowd gathered there. They came not only to be healed but also to listen to the gospel. Once Jesus came to a town called Capernaum, He was preaching at a cottage meeting. As usual a huge crowd gathered there. The door was blocked no one could enter through the door. Many went and brought those who were sick, weak and evil possessed, to the cottage meeting. In that situation while He was preaching, the healing power spread like medicine through the word of God, and healed many who gathered there.  Likewise God is sending the healing power on all those who are reading this message.  Receive by faith and be blessed.

A few of them when they heard that healing was taking place in the cottage meeting decided  to bring a paralyzed man to Jesus. They laid him on a cot and opened the roof on top of the house and tried to let him down into the place where Jesus was preaching. So the paralyzed was now right in front of Jesus.

Jesus was very surprised to see the faith of the friends of the paralyzed man. And when Jesus saw their faith he looked at the paralyzed and said,  “Friend, your sins are forgiven.” Then the Pharisees began to think within themselves, “Who is this man to forgive sins?  Who can forgive sins but God alone?” When Jesus perceived their hostile thoughts, he said to them, “Why are you raising objections within yourselves? Which is easier, to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say, ‘Stand up and walk’?  But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins” – he said to the paralyzed man – “I tell you, stand up, take your stretcher and go home.” Immediately he stood up before them, picked up the stretcher he had been lying on, and went home, glorifying God.

Jesus wanted to let others know that He had power even to forgive the sins of mankind. Jesus had power upon earth to forgive sins; even while He lived in flesh. whilst He was in His humble form on earth; for he did not cease to be God by becoming man, nor lose any authority over his power, of forgiving sin,   by appearing in the form of a servant; and, that it might be manifest, He said unto the sick of the palsy: I say unto thee, “arise, and take up thy couch, and go into your house.” Immediately the paralyzed stood up before them, picked up the couch and went home, glorifying God.

Dearly Beloved, Isn’t this marvellous?  God could have  just  healed the man but He wanted to exercise His authority and power  to forgive sins,  before the Pharisees  and other law makers who gathered there,  to find fault with Jesus. The Bible says, As many as received Him and to those who believe on His name, will become Children of God. Are you willing to become His sons and daughters?  If so repent of your sins and receive by faith this Jesus and you shall receive double fold blessing. God bless you.

Prayer:  Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Lord we thank You for sending Your healing power through this message and healing us. Grant us similar faith like those men who let the paralyzed into the room through the roof. Please forgive us of all our sinful nature and receive us as your children.

In Jesus name we pray,

Amen.

Perfect Peace

I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord.  The blessed word that   God has given for you today is from the book of Isaiah 26:3 , “You will keep him in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.”

In order for us to have peace, all we need to do is to focus our minds on the Lord,   and then we begin to trust in Him and His power. This wonderful promise was given to Isaiah when Israel, was going through its darkest period. We see even today, that many people are surrounded by much gloominess, and depression and when we are constantly threatened with the three great enemies of doubt, fear and worry, we need to keep our minds fixed on the Lord Jesus Christ and realize how precious and comforting these words become to us.

God is telling you to cling on to Him firmly from this day onwards. At times you might have been unsuccessful in achieving your goals.  And   this may be because you had left Jesus behind. But from now on you hold on to Him.  Then you will find a progress in your life. God is not happy with those who backslide from the Lord. The Bible says, “For a righteous man fall seven times and yet he rises again.” The Peace which God offers is very practical. And this can be experienced by us through His grace.  And this peace can be attained by trusting our Lord Jesus Christ. Paul through his letters encourages the Philippians to rejoice in the Lord always.  He says,  “ Rejoice  in the Lord always, and I say again rejoice.” Let your gentleness be evident to all. For the Lord is near, therefore do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanks giving presents your requests to God. And the peace of God which transcends all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. The Lord Jesus Christ procured peace for us, upon the cross of Calvary,   and that peace is conveyed to our hearts    and minds by the Holy Spirit, as stated in the Bible.  But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness and faithfulness.  Further the Bible says, Great peace has those who love your law, and nothing can make them stumble.

God gives us a guarantee that if we will walk in His statutes and keep His commandments, He will keep our hearts, in perfect peace. If we do our part, then He will do His part. Therefore I encourage you to love the Law (commandments) and meditate in it day and night then observe to do according to all that is written in it, for then you will make your way, prosperous and then you will have good success. God Bless you.

Prayer:  Our   loving   heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Thank You Lord for having   procured peace for us on the cross of Calvary. Teach us to keep Your commandments.  Help us to cling on   to   You O Lord,  for all our needs.  Be with us  and guide us in our day  to day life.  May we enjoy the fruit of the spirit in our life.

In Jesus name we pray.

Amen.

God’s Favour

I greet and bless you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. The blessed word that the Lord has given for you today is from the book of  Colossians 3:23,24, “ Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters,  since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.”

From the above context we learn that whatever we do we should do sincerely and not be careless with our work. We should work, not to please men but God for He watches all   our   work. For the Lord is in Heaven and does what He pleases.  He is a God who gives you wealth. Such a God has become your inheritance, since you have made Him the master of your life.  Many tell me that they have lost everything in their life. They would request me to pray. I would pray and tell them that they have lost everything, but they have not lost the God who gives all things.  Don’t lose God at any point of time. Hold on to Him for He will be your shield and shelter.

The God of wonders is within you. And so you have a great wealth that you could not afford to lose it.  He is Jesus Christ. You might have lost your house or your job, or all that you consider as wealth. But you have not lost the one who grants all these to you. That is why you are reading this message with great enthusiasm to know what God has in store for you. In case God is not with you then your conscience would be spoilt, and your days would have come to an end. But you have the desire to search for God,   that   itself is an indication that God is within you.   He is your wealth He is the portion of your life and as long as you have not lost Him, He will sustain you, keep you and protect you.    Since He is within you it is possible for you to get back all that you have lost in life.

Today,  God is saying, I will give you all that you have lost in your life.  The Bible says, “ For the son of man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.  ”So in case you have lost everything in your life God is able to give you back all that you had lost in life.     God has a plan for  your  life.  No one can separate you from God.  Therefore do not    separate   yourself   from God just because you have lost everything in your life. Apostle Paul  says, nothing can separate us from the love of God. Therefore throw away all that separates you from the love of God and hold on to God and never let go of God from your heart. We need to be careful and alert not to lose Him, as He is the most important wealth of your life.   Some might say, “This person is the inheritance of my life.” He might have been someone who brought   you to this great status in life. So you think and consider him to be   ( may be your friend, well wisher  or  relative ) great in life.

Today God is telling one thing very clearly to you.  If God did not permit, then even your children could not have helped you. No one could have helped you. If you say this person or that person has been the cause for you to do well in life or grow to a higher level in life then you need to remember that God has allowed that person to help you or be gracious to you or show favour to you. It is good to honour such a person and be grateful to him but above all you should honour God who has been the instrument behind all this, and had introduced that person in your life and through that person God has blessed you.

Since God has been the portion or wealth of your life, God in order to promote you has brought such a person in your life. Jesus has shown favour to you through some person to raise your status in life.  This is God’s favour. So you need to give God the first, and the best place in your life, for it is only because of God you have received favour from any person in your life.  The favour shown to you by someone is from God himself.  So you have to glorify God for showing favour in the sight of God and men.  If you work hard and be sincere in all that you do then you will   receive a portion of blessing from the Lord as a reward.  God Bless You.

Prayer:   Our   loving    heavenly Father,   we thank You for this blessed day.  Lord we thank you for showing favour and kindness through someone in our life. Help us to be grateful to you all the days of our life. Never to be separated from You. Teach us to walk with    wisdom and prudence. May we glorify God for His merciful kindness shown to us through others.

In Jesus name we pray.

Amen.
