My dear Brother and sister in Christ, I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our God, who created and formed us and who never ever forgets us. The blessed word that God has given for you, today is from the book of Deuteronomy 28:7 “The LORD will cause your enemies who rise against you to be defeated before you. They shall come out against you one way and flee before you seven ways.”
My Dear Brother and Sister, from the above context we learn that God will preserve your life from the hands of your enemies. As He protected and preserved the life of king Hezekiah from the hands of the king of Assyria who came against him. When you pray, ask God to forgive you of your sins. Say to the Lord, that you will remain faithful to God in all the work of your hands. You will be loyal and sincere before God. You will trust in God at all times. God is looking at you who are reading this message and saying, I have heard your prayer, and seen your tears, so I will preserve your life from the hands of your enemies. They shall come out against you one way and flee before you seven ways.”
My Dear Brother and Sister, God promises to give your enemy into your own hands such that he will not be able to rise up against you for the rest of your life. God says, that He will protect you and your family from all kinds of danger and harm that could befall you. And preserve you from those who are causing trouble to you. God says, “I will support you and your children.” He is asking you, “Who is the person who is causing trouble to you, and interfering you, unnecessarily. Who is the cause for your depression? Who is the one tearing your heart? Who is discouraging you? Today God will meet that person on your behalf and put an end to all your troubles. from your enemy.
My Dear Brother and Sister, those who spoke with raised voice against you will not be able to raise their voice against you anymore. It could be your friend, your neighbour, your close relative. It may be your professor in your college who does not wish that you come up in life and is therefore causing trouble to you and threatening you. Whoever it might be, God is going to take control of them from today and will lift you up, right before their eyes, and magnify your name. All the tears that you have shed because of them has come to an end. Even if you look out for them, you shall not find them anywhere. The LORD will cause your enemies who rise against you to be defeated before you.
My Dear Brother and Sister, Therefore I urge you to come out of your depression. Come out of your dark room. You are supposed to live and not die. God has many plans for you. So come out of your current situation that God might fulfil His plans in your life. God is uprooting instantly all kinds of sickness that leads to your death. God is turning all your medical reports, upside down. Even doctors will be astonished to see a change in your medical reports. They might wonder how you recovered from Corona. You had BP, Sugar, Cholesterol, and Wheezing but how did you come out of Corona? This will be the talk of the doctors. But you should say, “My God healed me, and has given me life that I may declare the works of God. ”May the Lord nullify every form of fear of death from you. Many had told you that you will die and not live. But the Lord has been gracious to you and has extended your life on the face of this earth. May God’s name be glorified. God bless you.
Prayer: Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Dear Lord, thank you for teaching us through this message, to come out of darkness and from depression and trust in God. Thank You Lord for Protecting and Preserving our lives from the hands of our enemies. Make us to shine before those who trampled us and considered us cheap and unworthy.
In Jesus name we pray.
Amen
My dear Brother and sister in Christ, I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our God, who created and formed us and who never ever forgets us. The blessed word that God has given you for today is from the book of Isaiah 38:5,6 “ Go and tell Hezekiah, ‘This is what the Lord, the God of your father David, says: I have heard your prayer and seen your tears; I will add fifteen years to your life. And I will deliver you and this city from the hand of the king of Assyria. I will defend this city.”
My Dear Brother and Sister from the above context we come to understand that God sends prophet Isaiah to inform king Hezekiah that he has been affected by severe disease and that he was about to die because of this illness. He said, “Set your house in order for you shall die and not live.” Hezekiah was very hurt to hear the words of the prophet Isaiah and he turned towards the wall and prayed to the Lord. He cried to the Lord saying, Remember now O Lord, how I had walked before you, in truth and in loyal heart? And have done what is good in your sight. And Hezekiah wept bitterly.
My Dear Brother and Sister, those of you who are reading this message, you too might be weeping over someone, in your family who had been affected by Corona Virus, and the doctors might have told, that he would die. And the people around you too might have told you, that there is no chance for him to live. Or you too, might be caught up, in some serious sickness, and you must be immersed in this illness, in such a manner that you are likely to die, and you cannot live anymore. From the time you heard about this heart breaking news regarding your poor health condition, fear of death must have taken hold of you.
My Dear Brother and Sister, in this situation, you think “Well, doctors have forsaken, me, and there is no chance for me to live. You might be thinking that there is no way to survive. Today I would like to bring to your notice, that even beyond this situation, there is Jesus, who can give you life, and deliver you from your bed of sickness. We see that God himself had confirmed the death of King Hezekiah, then what made Him to extend fifteen years of life. You should know this secret only then, you also can be blessed with many years of life. As soon as Hezekiah was reported, about his death, he looked up to God and prayed vigorously. He said. Lord have mercy on me, for “I have been faithful to You, and did all that was good in Your sight.” He reminds God about the testimony of his life. So God not only extended his life but also delivered him from the hands of his enemies.
My Dear Brother and Sister, those of you who are reading this message are you going through such fear of death in your life? You doubt whether you will rise up or not when you go to bed each day. You say, “My heart seems to arrest and I don’t know what is going to happen to me? Look my lungs have failed to function properly. Both the kidneys have been affected, there is some kind of internal bleeding.” And so you are crying. Is your brain affected due to some injury? Is there some kind of skin infection all over your body. Are you getting scared and worried because you have been suffering from one thing or other? Just look to God in Prayer as king Hezekiah. Remind God of your good deeds if any, then God will take pity on you and extend your life on this earth. Tell the Lord, “ I surrender myself to walk faithfully before you in all my ways. I shall be true and honest in all that I do.” God bless you.
Prayer: Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Dear Lord, thank you for showing us through the Life of king Hezekiah, to lead a good and faithful life before God. Teach us to do all that is good in Your sight. Even though you had confirmed his death, yet you took pity on him because of his good testimony and extended his life. Forgive all our sins and trespasses, take pity on us also and help us to live a long life.
In Jesus name we pray.
Amen
My dear Brother and sister in Christ, I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our God, who created and formed us and who never ever forgets us. The blessed word that God has given you for today is from the book of Matthew 7:7 says, “Ask and you shall receive.”
My Dear Brother and Sister, From the above words, we learn that if you ask the Lord with faith what you desire God will answer your request without fail. He wants to set you up on a tower and beautify you. That is how God wants to bless you. He does not wish that you be poor and shabby, but rich and prosperous. So all you need to do is to ask God and obtain it. The Bible says, “Ask and it will be given you. Seek and you will find. Knock and the door will be opened for you.”Hence we need to make an effort. to receive what we desire. We are to ask and keep on asking, with full assurance that He hears our cry and answers the prayer that is offered in faith, and in line with His will.
My Dear Brother and Sister, We are to seek – we are to apply ourselves diligently and earnestly, as we search out all the jewels that are hidden in the Word of God, which helps to establish our faith in God. Seeking is designed by God to enable us to grow in the grace and in the knowledge of Christ. For it is the glory of God to conceal a matter; but it is the glory of kings to search it out. We are to seek and we are to keep on seeking, for the one who seeks will not be disappointed but greatly rewarded.
My Dear Brother and Sister, We are to knock – we are to knock with patience, endurance and steadfast perseverance even when the circumstances of life test our faith and seek to sap our strength. We are to knock and keep on knocking even when the prowling enemy Satan, cause our hearts to faint. And even when God’s presence seems very far removed from us we are to knock and knock and keep on knocking, for the testing of our faith develops perseverance, so that we may become mature and complete, lacking nothing, as we tightly cling to His all-sufficiency. To ask is to pray to the Lord. Prayer is the greatest weapon that God has given to His children. When we pray God listens to our prayer and answers us according to His will.
My Dear Brother and Sister, When we ask God for any particular thing God answers our requests. In the Bible there was a man called Caleb, who wholly followed the Lord. As soon as the people of Israel entered the land of Canaan, The man of God, Joshua distributed the land to the 12 tribes of Israel. The Levites were the people who ministered unto the Lord, in the sanctuary. So God said that the Lord Himself will be their portion. Therefore the other eleven tribes received the portion of their land. Then Caleb reminded Joshua that Moses had already promised the land on which his feet treaded upon. Therefore Caleb chose Hebron a fertile mountainous land. He was confident that he could fight the giant Anakims that dwelt in that region and drive them out and capture the land. He had immense faith in God. Moreover he wholly followed God, so Joshua the leader of Israel was pleased with Caleb, and granted him his request. Caleb asked and so received.
My Dear Brother and Sister, Many of you reading this message are badly in need of certain things. May be you are in need of a job, or you, need to settle in life. Some are waiting for many years for the gift of a child. Some wish to settle abroad. You need Visa. God will bless you with all the blessings, provided you walk in all the ways of the Lord. Unless and until you ask the Lord you will not receive, because “ Every good and every perfect gift comes from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation.’’ If you ask God, then He will bless you in a manner that your joy may be full. For it is a trivial thing for the Lord to perform a miracle for you. God bless you.
Prayer: Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Dear Lord, thank You for teaching us that we need to ask, seek and knock in order to receive what we desire. Help us to pray in accordance with Your will and may we learn to ask in faith, to seek You with all our heart and to knock with patience and endurance, so that we may receive according to Your will.
In Jesus name we pray.
Amen
My dear Brothers and sisters in Christ, I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given you for today is from the book of Psalms 34:6, “This poor man cried out, and the Lord heard him, And saved him from all his troubles.”
My Dear Brothers and Sisters, By saying “This poor man cried” – The psalmist, remembers his own experience. The emphasis here is on the word “this:” “This poor, afflicted, persecuted man cried.” The phrase “This Poor” brings before us at once, his afflicted and miserable condition. The word “poor” here does not mean “poor” in the sense of poverty, but “poor” in the sense of being afflicted, crushed, forsaken, desolate. The word “miserable” would be more suitable than the word “poor.” And the Lord heard him – God regarded his cry, and saved him. “This poor man cried” shows, that people of God, who are poor and afflicted, cry unto the Lord to be rescued from their trouble. This may refer to David himself, who was poor, in spirit; and was much afflicted. And greatly distressed when he was in the court of Achish the king of Gath.
My Dear Brothers and Sisters, Though David who killed Goliath the Philistine giant, and brought victory to Israel, had opportunities to kill King Saul, but he refused to kill him as Saul was the anointed king of Israel. But Saul kept chasing him to kill him as God had anointed him to be the next king of Israel. Saul and three thousand soldiers were searching for David, so he sought the help of Achish the king of Gath. He took pity on David and permitted him to stay in his land for one year and four months. It was at this point of time that David lifted up his heart and cried out to God. The Lord heard his cry and showed mercy to him through king Achish. Because David feared King Saul and fled to Gath. Achish was pleased with David and agreed to give him protection in his land.
My Dear Brothers and Sisters, Even though his life was in danger David was worried about his parents. He requested the king of Moab to take care of them, until David became the king of Israel. He was in pain, great distress, and misery while he was running for his life. He was in the strong hold of king Saul. At that point of time he cried unto the Lord and God heard his cry and rescued him from all his troubles. We see how God spared the life of David from the cruel hand of King Saul. Achish king of Gath tells David, “I have not found evil in you since the day of your coming to me.” David walked wisely before God.
My Dear Brothers and sisters, thus God not only spared David’s life but also saved his because he walked wisely in all his ways. Having experienced much bitterness in his life David tells, that the angel of the Lord encamps all around those who fear Him and delivers him from all his troubles. He makes God his confidence. God will be your confidence too if you rely on Him completely. Even in the most trying period of your life He is more than enough to solve all your problems. Therefore cast your care upon him and He will sustain you. He will not allow the righteous to be moved.
My Dear Brothers and Sisters, even you might be going through similar situation like David. You may be chased by your own husband, your son, daughter, sister, brother, uncle or aunty. Why it could be your own parents. They are chasing you, to destroy you for some reason or other. They hate you with bitter hatred. You might have borrowed a huge sum of money from someone and the creditor might be chasing you. You might have been caught by the police for misbehaving, disobeying traffic rules, or for robbery. So you are being chased by the police. Whatever the reason might be you are being chased. And you need the mercy of God. Only He can save you. So you cry unto him. God will hear your cry and save you from your difficult situation. Cling to Him for help. The Bible says, “God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble.”The God of Jacob will be your refuge. You will be delivered from the hand of your enemy. Just as God made a hedge of protection over Job, and his household, and all that he had, God will put a hedge of covering over you and your household. No weapon formed against you will prosper if you obey the commandments of God and fear the Lord at all times. He will save you from the hands of the violent man. God bless you.
Prayer: Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. We praise you because You spared the life of Your servant David, from the hand of the cruel king Saul. From a poor shepherd boy You rose David, to that of a king. Therefore we praise You. Thank You Lord for being his confidence. Help us also to totally put our trust in you. Spare our lives from destruction. Teach us to obey your commandments, and fear the Lord at all times.
In Jesus name we pray.
Amen.
My Dear Brothers and Sisters, I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given for you today is from the book of Psalm 90: 5 “Oh Satisfy us in the morning, with your unfailing love, that we may sing for joy and be glad all our days. Make us glad for as many days, as you have afflicted us, for as many years as we have seen trouble.”
My Dear Brother and Sister, from the above context we learn that Moses intercedes on behalf of the people of Israel. This Psalm opens with Moses addressing the eternal God, and he acknowledges man’s brief life on earth. In most cases, he says, a person can live somewhere around 70 or 80 years. Short or long, life is full of toil and trouble. Therefore Moses asks the Lord to fill His people with wisdom. He also asks the Lord to reveal His work, demonstrate His power, grant His favour, and make the labour of the people successful. As they had suffered under the hands of the Egyptian Taskmasters, as slaves. He asks God to remove the darkness and help them see the morning, with His unfailing love, that they may sing for joy and be glad all their days. He begs God to make His people glad, who followed him faithfully to the land flowing with milk and honey. Since they had endured untold miseries in the hands of the Egyptians.
My Dear Brother and Sister, This is a psalm that Moses offered to the Lord as a prayer. In this verse, Moses emphasises his desire to the Lord regarding the people of Israel. He wanted the people, to enjoy freedom in the land of Canaan. as they had lived a cruel life in the land of Egypt. They were tortured severely by them. The Bible tells that they were so burdened and hence they cried out to the Lord. God heard their cry and sent Moses to deliver them from the hand of Pharaoh, and to lead them to the Land of Canaan. Moses actually pleads to the Lord on their behalf to help the people of Israel see better days. Moses desired that God would bring an end to all their tribulation, for they were in bondage for nearly 430 years.
My Dear Brother and Sister, God spoke to Moses out of a burning bush—of the suffering of the Jewish people in Egypt. God said, that He sees, hears, and knows of the plight of Israel. God clearly states that He has “seen” the suffering of those His people.”and , has “heard” their cry. This cry was due to the harshness of their taskmasters Moses knew this situation all too well, because forty years earlier he had been in Egypt. The afflictions of the Hebrews were known to the Lord. He had heard their cry and wanted to deliver them from the Egyptians. God planned to bring the Israelites out of Egypt into a new land, where God would provide for their needs.
My dear Brother and Sister, you too might have been crying out to the Lord for several years, regarding your problems. Till today you might have been going through financial crisis, debts, sickness and problems because of your disobedient children. Neighbours may be causing unnecessary trouble to you. The Lord is saying that He is going to put an end, to all your problems. The Lord will not only cause a breakthrough in your financial status and clear all your debts. But will quieten your neighbours from troubling you. From today, you are going to be glad all the days of your life. The Lord is going to satisfy you with His abundant mercies, that will cause you to rejoice in the Lord. He will wipe away all the tears from your eyes. For God has seen and heard your cry over a long period of time. He wants to deliver you from all your problems as He delivered the people of Israel. God will provide a Government job for your son, and make you glad. He will settle your daughter who had been waiting long for a suitable partner. God will turn all your sorrow into joy at the end of your struggle. For our God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask , think or pray. God bless you.
Prayer: Our loving Heavenly Father, we thank you for this blessed day. Lord you have seen our troubles and pain which we have endured all these years. Lord fill us with your abundant mercies and new grace every morning and satisfy us with gladness all the days, of our lives. Lord let the days of disaster come to an end in our life and bless us to see greater days in life. Shower your unfailing love upon us.
In Jesus name we pray.
Amen.
