God Goes Before You

My dear Brother and sister in Christ,   I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our God, who created and formed us and who never ever forgets us. The blessed word that God has given for   you,   today  is from  the  book  of  Micah 2:13 “Micah 2:13 The one who breaks open the way will go up before them  they will break through the gate and go out. Their king will pass through before them, the Lord at their head.”

My Dear Brother and Sister, From the above context we learn that God will assemble, all His children together, He Will gather together, all the tribes of Jacob; gather together, the remnant of Israel; and He will bring them together like the sheep of Bozrah.  (Bozrah)   means sheepfold. God who is a good  Shepherd,  wanted to lead all the sheep,  like a flock in the midst of their pasture, the sheep would be noisy with  shepherd to lead them.  And Yahweh the God of Israel,  the breaker,  will go up before them.  While  the   people of God, will  breakthrough, and pass along  through the gate,   their  King  will  go   before  them,  with   Jehovah  at  their  head.” The Lord God of Israel will go before them to break all the barriers that stand before them and prevent them from receiving the blessings of  God.

My Dear Brother and Sister,   These verses may also refer to the captivity of Israel and Judah. The Lord would not only bring them out from their captivity but would open their way, to God the Father, Yahweh by breaking the fetters of Satan. Thus Jesus will go before and the people will follow Him. He will break through the enemies that would stop them from going to heaven. The Breaker refers to the Messiah the King, who opens the way, and He shall go before them to guard them, to protect them,  to liberate them,  and they will break out, pass through the gate, and go out liberated.

My Dear Brother and Sister, Maybe your family is scattered. Your husband may be working abroad. Your children may be in a hostel and your are alone in your native place.  Our God says,  “ I am a God near at hand,  and   also a God afar off.”He will not only take care of your husband, who is working abroad but also take care of your children in the Hostel and will also take care of you, who is left alone to manage your house.   So never worry because the Lord who goes before you will break all the obstacles that you face each day of your life. You may have a financial deficit and problem with your children as they may not do well in their studies and since your husband is far away you may suffer from loneliness.  God is in control of your life. Hold on to Jesus who is your refuge and strength. A   very present help in trouble.  He will remain with you always. For He cares for you and your family.

My dear Brother and Sister, May be till today those of you reading this message,   might have been leaning on your own understanding. Therefore  You might have been facing many hardships in your life. Just allow Jesus to reign in your hearts and allow Him to direct your steps then you will enjoy a blessed life. The Lord says, “Low I am with you always, even to the end of the age. I will not leave you until I have performed what I have promised you.” The Lord wants to break all the barriers that stand as hurdles for your progress. The Lord says, Behold I am sending an angel before you to remove all the hurdles that block your way. The Bible says, “ In all thy ways, acknowledge Him and He shall direct your steps.”  Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. Commit your works unto the Lord and thy thoughts shall be established. The Lord will perfect that which concerns you.  God bless you.

Prayer:  Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Lord thank you for going before us and breaking all the barriers that prevent us from going forward in our life.  God guide us in this wilderness life and help us in our struggles.   Help us to pass through the gate that is set before us and go out peacefully to our desired destination.

 In Jesus name we pray,

Amen.

You Shall Be A Threshing Sledge

I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord.  The blessed  word  that God  has  given  for  you  today  is  from the book of Isaiah  41:15,16 , “I will make you into a new threshing sledge, with sharp teeth. You shall thresh the Mountains, and beat them, small. And make the hills like chaff. You Shall Rejoice in the Lord. And glory in the Holy one of Israel.”

From the above context we come to understand that God wants to make you into a new threshing sledge in this New Year. For God says, “I will make you into a new threshing sledge, with sharp teeth.  You will be a sharp instrument that can drill the mountains and crush them into dust.

May be in the past you might have been a dull and blunt instrument, with sharp less edges   that    cannot drill the mountain or the hill. You were not a useful instrument all this while. And in such a situation you cannot be of much benefit to yourself or to the society.  God knows your strength and your weakness. Your intelligence and wisdom, has become blunt due to various reasons.  And He is aware of all the problems and tribulations that you need to face while you are in this world. God does not wish that you be passive or inactive, but he wants to prepare you for a better task. God does not want you to be in a blunt or useless manner.

God wants to rebuild that blunt life of yours into a useful and sharp instrument, so that you may be capable of solving all the problems that rises in your life. For He says, In this world you will have tribulation and trials and you need the strength to face these problems. God knows that your wisdom and knowledge is not enough to help you face your problems. That is why in the very beginning of this verse God says, “I shall make you into a sharp instrument, to thresh the mountains, and beat them small. We are living in a world full of revenge, a world of competition, trials and jealousy. And if you need to live a victorious life, in this world, then you need a sharp edged instrument, which means you, need to have sharp wisdom.

In a deceptive world, where all people, cannot be trusted, you need to be wise, to deal with them. You need sharpness in your wisdom, to survive in this wicked world. God expects that you have sharp and efficient wisdom. Only then you will be victorious and also be able to move forward. Only then you will be able to crush down the mountain like problems that stand before you. With sharp wisdom, and knowledge you will be able to crush down the mountain like problems that crops up in your life. Then you will be able to rejoice in the Lord and Glorify the Holy one. To live a peaceful life God is speaking as prophesy that your children who are dull and inefficient, will become wise and efficient. They will do well not only in their studies but also shine in their career. They will become greater and greater in their life as God has promised to bless your descendants. The Lord declares that there is hope for your future. All your children will be taught of the Lord. And the well being of your children shall be great upon the earth. God bless you.

Prayer: Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Thank You Lord for making us into new threshing sledge with sharp teeth that we may be able to drill the mountain   and hills into dust. Help us to face the challenges boldly with sharp wisdom and knowledge. May we be able to crush down the mountain like problems that often crops up in our life, and live a victorious   life so that   we may rejoice in the Lord and glory in the Holy One.

In Jesus name we pray,

Amen.

GOD’s HONOUR

I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ   our God, who created and formed us and who never ever forgets us.The blessed word that God has given for   you today is from the book of Zephaniah 3:20, “For I will give you fame and praise, among all the Peoples of the earth.”

From the above context we learn that God will give you fame and praise and make your name great before others. God will honour you when you obey His commandments and fear the name of God. May be until yesterday you did not get honour and name from among the people, for your good deeds. But God has a reward for you. God says, “’ I will set you on high.”A lamp cannot give light to others when placed under a table.  It must be kept upon a lamp stand, then it will give light to all those who surround it. When the Glory of God is revealed then you shall receive fame and name.

May be you couldn’t do well in your exams. You have failed several times. So you have been badly discouraged and you think why should I go to college?  And you start cutting classes. This is because Satan has got hold of you. And   does not permit you to excel. Satan causes you to lose faith in yourself. You will gradually lose your confidence. Satan who is a liar comes to steal and to kill, and to destroy. So he will make you useless and discard you in such a way that you will never be able to receive fame and name. Satan will suppress you and you will never be able to rise up again in life.

Those of you who are reading this message are worried about your children and their future. The Lord will not forget your good works and He will not forsake you. He will descend upon you just as the dew descends on the green grass. Usually many will come to me for prayer. They will share all their problems with me. But I will just tell them positively that all their problems can easily be solved. People with   huge debts worth lakhs of Rupees will cry over their debt. They will cry before me. But I will tell them that their problem is too trivial for God to solve.  Our God is bigger than our problem.  I will never discourage anyone who came to me. But I will speak words of comfort. Soon they will become cheerful and return home happily believing that God will perform a miracle for them in their life. I will tell them Though it lingers, wait for it, since it will surely come and will not delay. It may take a long time, but keep on waiting–it will happen. God will hear your cry and answer you speedily.

We read about Mordecai in the Bible.  He was a Jew. His cousin Esther found favour in the eyes of king Ahasuerus and became the Queen of Persia. But Mordecai sat at the gate of the king’s palace. Being a Jew he did not bow to Haman who was the head of all the princes. Haman hated Mordecai, so he plotted to kill him and also destroy all the Jews who lived in the kingdom.  He cunningly planned to pass a decree against the Jews. While Mordecai was sitting at the king’s gate he overheard two men discussing about their plan to kill the king. This was reported to the king. The queen fasted and prayed for her nation, being a Jew. When the king came to know about Haman’s cunning plan to destroy the Jews, he put him in the gallows which Haman had prepared for Mordecai.

In a moment the position of Mordecai was changed. He who sat at the king’s gate was made to sit in the palace. The Decree was abolished and the Jews were delivered. Mordecai was dressed with a royal robe. He   was made to ride on the king’s horse. And a royal crest was placed on his head. The king took off his signet ring which he had given to Haman and gave it to Mordecai,  Esther appointed him over the house of Haman. Thus we see how God changed the position of Mordecai in a moment and made his name great among the people. You too will receive name and praise if you walk in the fear of God. Don’t worry about the future of your children.  Commit your ways unto the Lord trust also in Him and He will bring it to pass. So think positive and work hard with what you have in your hand and the Lord will make you successful and you shall receive name and praise among all the people.  God Bless you.

Prayer:  Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Lord we thank You for encouraging us through this message, that some day we too like Mordecai will receive name and fame among our people. Until then teach us to trust You with all our heart and work steadily with what You have entrusted us with. May we have a positive attitude towards  our  life.

In Jesus name we pray.

Amen

Lord Hide Me

Dearly Beloved, I greet and bless you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. The blessed word that the Lord has given for you today is from the book of Job 14:13, “Oh that You would hide me in the grave, That You would conceal Me, until Your wrath is past, That You would appoint me a set time, and remember me.”
From the above context we see, that Job was going through severe affliction, therefore he realized that he was under the wrath of God. And in the above context he cries out to God, saying, “Lord hide me until Your wrath is past”. Lord hide me in the grave that no one would see my condition and mock at me or laugh at me.” He pleads God to appoint a set time for him and to remember him at this point of affliction and offer him another opportunity for him to live and not die in his affliction.
“The grave” is almost a hideout for people like Job. For some the grave acts like the “chambers” where they lie and sleep until the indignation of God against a wicked world is over and past; or the state of the dead, where they are insensible of what is done in this world, what calamities and judgments are on the inhabitants of it, and so are not affected and grieved with these things; if possible; his wish is, to be buried alive, or to live in some subterraneous place, free from his present afflictions and misery, than to be upon earth with the people he is familiar with.
Job is unable to face his own friends who criticised him of his horrible state. They ridiculed him and said that he must have made some secret sins in his life, to go through such a fearful and dreadful affliction, so as to lose all his ten children, his wealth and even his cattle. His body was filled with boils and he sat on the ashes heap, scraping his sores with dry shell. So at this state he cries out to God, begging Him to keep him in secret, so that no eye should see him, no human eye should see or know all about his affliction.
He wanted God to keep him in the grave until the wrath of God, is past. He realised that God sometimes comes out of his place in great wrath and indignation; to prevent his dear children and people from being involved in certain calamities, he takes them away beforehand, and hides them in his chambers. Job was sure that the wrath of God was upon him, being severely afflicted. He knew that he would not be delivered until he was brought to the dust, from whence he came so he cries out to God, to appoint him a set time, and remember him. He pleads God to think of his affliction and requests God to give him another opportunity for him to live.
Dearly beloved, is someone angry with you? Doesn’t worry, God will protect you from those who are angry with you. Their anger will in no way spoil your peace. But you should never become the object of God’s anger, or the wrath of God. Only when you have a problem you go to God. But if your problem is with God then where will you go? Therefore today you need to renew your relationship with God. So that you will not experience another calamity in the future. You could avoid another tragedy or affliction in your life by renewing your relationship with God. Then the Lord will bless you with a double portion of blessing as He blessed Job and his family. God bless you.
Prayer: Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Lord prevent us from the wrath of God. Lord help us to renew our relationship with You to avoid another calamity in our life. May we learn not to trouble others knowingly or unknowingly but be of much help to others. Never to forsake God but to hold on to Him even during times of crisis. Always to respect others for what they are and enjoy good relationship with God.
In Jesus name we pray.
Amen.

GOD FEARING LIFE

I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given for you today, is from the book of Zachariah 2:7, 8 “  , for he that touches you touches the apple of his eye.”

From the above context we understand that our God delivered his children namely the Israelites from the captivity of Babylon and after he attained the glory of God he came into the world to redeem the children of God from the hands of this world that is corrupt and evil.  God looks at Zion (The Children of God) and admonishes them to come out of Babylon and not to engage themselves in the lust of the flesh and sinful activities like the people of Babylon.

Prophet Zachariah compares Babylon to that of this world, which has become more like Babylon so wicked and evil in the sight of God. God is worried that no one should pluck his children from his hands. So He says, “For he that touches you touches the apple of his eye.” He considers His children so precious in His sight. The Bible says, “The Fear of God is the beginning of wisdom.”God expects his children to walk in the fear of God.  God  is Almighty,  God says,   “I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, which was and which is and which is to come, the Almighty” to whom all power is given in heaven and in earth.”

When King David was in deep distress, he said, “Let us fall into the hands of the Lord for his mercy is great. Rather than fall into human hands. Apostle Paul refers in his Epistle to the Hebrews, saying “Let us approach Gods throne of grace, with confidence, so that we may receive the mercy of God and find grace to help us in our time of need.”

One day a young man came to see me. He said, “Sir, I have committed a sin, but my conscious pricks me. What should I do? Will God forgive me of my sin?’’ So I decided to come to the Prayer Tower, “A place of Refuge”   and ask God to forgive me of all my sins that I have committed until this day.  He asked me if God would forgive him of all his wicked deeds and give him an opportunity to live a fresh clean life. I told him, “When God could forgive the woman who was caught in the act of adultery and granted her another opportunity to live a fresh life, will he not forgive you, and give you one more opportunity to live. The tears you have shed are the sign of your repentance.”

This young man was very scared, he even went for blood test to ensure if he was attacked by any disease, due to his sinful habits. I told him, that if he confessed his sins, God is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”  He confessed to God with great fear, and since he admitted his faults, and confessed his sins, God changed his tears of sorrow and pain to tears of joy. God gave him a new life. He went home rejoicing.

God expects you to fear Him. He questions saying, A son honours his father, and a servant his master, If then I am the Father, where is My honour? And if I am a Master, Then where is My reverence? God commands us to fear the Lord our God, for our good always, and for our survival. The Psalmist says, “How great is Your goodness which You have stored up for those who fear you?” Therefore I urge you to fear God at all times to enjoy life of fullness. God bless you.

Prayer: Our loving heavenly Father, we thank   You for this blessed day. Lord we thank You for enlightening us, about Your power and Your supremacy that You are Almighty God. Help us to fear You with all humbleness of heart. May we learn to live a God fearing life and not involve in sinful ways. Teach us to come out of the captivity of Babylon, and live a life acceptable in the sight of God.

In Jesus name we pray.

Amen.
