My Dear Brother and Sister in Christ, I greet and bless you in the name of our Creator, Maker, and ever unforgettable Lord Jesus Christ. The blessed word that the Lord has given for you today is from the book of John 5:5,6 “ Now a certain man was there who had an infirmity thirty-eight years. When Jesus saw him lying there, and knew that he had already been in that condition a long time, He said to him, “Do you want to be made well?”
My Dear Brother And Sister, from the above context we see how Jesus met a man who was lying there for thirty eight years. Knowing his pitiable state Jesus went near him and asked him if he wanted to be made well. Jesus pities his case; he asks him if he was willing to be made whole. Jesus knew that the poor man lay there for that very purpose; but He wanted him to declare his miserable, helpless state and condition, and draw out his faith and hope in himself; and from his answer Jesus decided to take an occasion to heal him. Jesus knew that he had been “in his disease” for a long period of time. Bible commentators say that he was sick seven years before Jesus was born. Jesus realised that he had lived many years, and was now an old man; Jesus took pity on him because he realized that he had been in that state for a very, very long period and he needed immediate deliverance. So he said unto him, ““Do you want to be made well?”
My Dear Brother and Sister, He was lying by the pool of Bethesda, in Jerusalem. There were many lying around the pool for healing. There was something special in that pool. Every day an angel would descend, into pool and stir the water. While the water is stirred someone who gets into the pool will get healed. But there was no one to lift him up and dip him into the pool, while the angel stirred the water. When Jesus asked him if he wanted to get well then he said, that before he could get in, someone else gets into the pool and so he couldn’t get healed. The man was lying there helplessly waiting for deliverance for nearly thirty eight years. Usually one suffers from disease because of their sin and sinful nature. This man was one such person who because of his sin was unable to move, from his hip to his feet. And so he was unable to walk. If he had been able to walk he could have easily dipped into the pool, when the water was stirred. Yet he never lost his hope in life. He remained patiently, hoping that one day he will get healed.
My Dear BrotherAnd Sister, The man believed that one day God will forgive all his sins and heal him of all his disease. Then he will be able to run, walk and carry out his work. He hoped that God will give him another opportunity to live. As he believed, Jesus Himself came in search of him one day. When Jesus asked him if he wanted to get healed he replied that he was willing to be healed. But he also said, that before he could get into the pool, someone else would get into the pool, when the angel stirred the water. Jesus looked up to him and said, “Arise take up your bed and walk.”The Bible says, immediately the man got healed. So he took up his bed and walked away. Jesus did not talk to him about his sin or his sinful nature. Jesus forgave his sins and healed him. He had suffered enough and he needed deliverance instantly. So Jesus healed him. Are you sick and suffering then wait upon God He will heal you. But before being healed, you need to get rid of all your evil habits and sinful activities that stands as an obstruction to your healing and blessing. Reconcile with God immediately and you shall receive healing. God Bless you.
Prayer: Our loving heavenly Father, We thank You for this blessed day. Lord thank for being so merciful and gracious to the man with infirmity. Thank You Lord for taking pity on him and healing him immediately. Heal us also of our disease and forgive us of our sins. May we repent of our sinful nature and reconcile with God.
In Jesus Name We Pray.
Amen.
My Dear Brother and Sister in Christ, I greet and bless you in the name of our Creator, Maker, and ever unforgettable Lord Jesus Christ. The Blessed word that the Lord has given for you today is from the book of Titus 3:5 “ He saved us not because of the righteous things which we had done, But because of His mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth, and renewal by the Holy Spirit. ”
My Dear Brother And Sister, from the above context we learn that God is gracious and merciful, and so the Bible says, we have been saved by Grace. Scripture frequently mentions about the mercy God provides, for the sins which we commit, if we are willing to repent. Nobody is perfect, And God knows that all of us have fallen short of His glory. God who is rich in mercy has saved us because of His great love for us. How wonderful is the truth that we are saved and that all our sins were washed away the moment we trusted Christ Jesus as Saviour and were born from above. Salvation did not come to us because of any good deeds that we did or because we gained some merit – indeed one of the most difficult things for sinful man to accept is that Salvation is a free gift of grace from God to those who simply believe on Christ as Saviour, those who believe that He died on the cross to pay the price for our sins and through believing on Him we are given life everlasting.
My Dear Brother And Sister, We were not saved from our sins and brought into the family of God because of our good works, righteous deeds, important heritage or exemplary behaviour – nor are we excluded because of our wicked past, our unholy behaviour, due to an accident of birth or because we are out of favour with God! There is nothing we have done or could ever do that would qualify or disqualify us for salvation – the whole matter is exclusively based on the kindness and love of God. It all centres on His grace and mercy towards us who by right should be eternally separated from our holy God and eternal Creator. We are now heirs of God, possessors of the hope of the eternal life. So we are as Jesus said, the light shining in the darkness, of this evil age.
My Dear Brother And Sister, But because He is rich in mercy and not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance and turn from their sins. He washed away our sins and gave us new life in Christ, by the power of His Holy Spirit – and the one and only ‘condition’ is to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved. Our salvation is NOT because of the righteousness that we had done, but according to His mercy, and it happened when we were washed clean the moment we were born again and were made a new creation in Christ by means of the Holy Spirit, Whom He poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Saviour. We are as Jesus said, the light shining in the darkness, of this evil age. Praise Be To His holy name.
Prayer: Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Dear Lord, we thank for Your grace and mercy towards us. Thank You that You have washed our sins and made us a new creation in Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit. Help us to be as light shining for you and your glory.
In Jesus Name We Pray.
Amen.
I greet and bless you in the name of our Creator, Maker, and ever unforgettable Lord Jesus Christ. The Blessed word that the Lord has given for you today is from the book of Genesis 2:8, “The Lord God planted a garden eastward, in Eden and there He put the man whom He had formed into the garden. ”
From the above context we learn that God knew that Adam needed a house to stay in, even when he was alone. The first gift that God gave Adam was the Garden of Eden. The Bible says, God created a garden and placed the man whom He had formed. Many of you reading this message are crying over your situation, of not living in your own house. You are living in rented house and some owners keep demanding more rent and do not make any repair work or replace anything that has been damaged. You need to do all repair work and spend a lot of money from your purse. Therefore you wish to buy or build an own house for yourselves.
Today, God who built a house for Adam and placed him and his wife Eve, to live together happily has decided to provide a house for you. To all those of you who are living in rented house, God is going to give you a house of your own. Not only give you a house, but also break all bondages that obstruct you from building a house or from getting a loan from the bank. There will be deliverance in your spirit, in your soul and your body, deliverance in your mind that has been bound by Satan. You shall receive deliverance from your anxiety, and from your depression. God is liberating you from all kinds of bondages. May be you are caught up in some disease. Some kind of affliction, God is able to deliver you from all kinds of circumstances for He is a God of Deliverance. He is a God who gives us victory. God says, “If the Son sets you free then you shall be free indeed.”
God is delivering you from all the evil spirit through the power of His word. All evil spirit is leaving you forever from your body. God is liberating you from all the bondages of your life. He is setting you free. You shall not be disturbed by any evil spirit that had been tormenting you and preventing you from doing any good thing. In future you shall sleep well. Your sleep shall be sweet. The Bible says, God gives sweet sleep to those whom God loves. You shall not be disturbed by bad dreams. God is delivering you from witchcraft, black magic and all other evil practice. God of Heaven is granting you His peace that passes all understanding.
Prayer: Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Dear Lord, we thank you for providing a beautiful house for Adam and Eve. Help us also to secure a house of our own. May we enjoy sound sleep. Let no bad dreams disturb our sleep. Grant us opportunity to live a peaceful life with our family. Deliver us from all bondages and grant us divine healing from all disease. Let no evil befall us. Grant us long life that we may praise and glorify Your name.
In Jesus Name We Pray.
Amen.
Dearly Beloved in Christ, I greet and bless you in the name of our Creator, Maker, and ever unforgettable Lord Jesus Christ. The Blessed word that the Lord has given for you today is from the book of Isaiah 51:11, “With everlasting joy on their heads. They shall obtain joy and gladness; sorrow and sighing shall flee away.”
Today God is sealing the leakage of blessing in your families. No more will you build a house, and another inhabit. No more will you plant a garden, and another eat its fruit. God will bless the work of your hands and you will enjoy it for a long time!
Once a family comprising of a husband, wife and children came to the city of refuge for prayer. They were adamant that they will not leave without praying with Brother Stephen. So, I set aside a time to pray for them. The husband was a very courteous gentleman. He said it was many years since he had lost his job. His wife and children looked forlorn. The wife lamented, “I had a lot of jewellery which my husband had earlier bought from his earnings. We sold them one by one to survive all these years. But from next month we have nothing more to sell. From now on our life looks bleak. If my husband does not get a job next month, then our life is over.” I prayed, “Lord, you said you will not test us beyond our ability. They have come to this city of refuge in a lowest possible state.” I prayed breaking all the obstacles and sent them home. Within a span of 10 days God blessed the husband with a job having twice the remuneration than before. Hallelujah!
When God says His chosen ones will enjoy the fruit of their labor for a long time, it doesn’t mean their life will be good for a short duration only to deteriorate later. Their life will be great throughout your lifetime. The work of your hands should be blessed by the Lord. You will have success in your personal life, spiritual life, and career life. You will be successful in your face-to-face interviews. You will be victorious (2 Corinthians 2:14).
The Bible says: “With everlasting joy on their heads. They shall obtain joy and gladness; Sorrow and sighing shall flee away.” (Isaiah 51:11).
From now on there will be no more sorrow in your lives. And you shall be called sought out, a city not forsaken (Isaiah 62:12). You will not be abandoned anymore. You will be called Hephzibah, and your land Beulah (Isaiah 62:4). God will wipe away your tears from your eyes (Revelation 7:17). You will no longer weep. There will be order in your life since God is with you. All your sorrows, difficulties and worries will change. Hallelujah!
May God bless you all with such blessings this month of November and make you glad! May His mighty hand of miracles always be with you! Amen.
Prayer: Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Dear Lord, even as my children start this new month, bless them with your joy and gladness. Let their sorrow be turned to joy. Let them experience a miracle in their lives today.
In Jesus Name We Pray.
Amen.
I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given for you today is from the book of Psalms 121:8, “The Lord shall preserve your going out and your coming in from this time forth and even for evermore.”
From the above context we learn that the Lord shall preserve our going out and our coming in. These days, when life has become so uncertain, we see that often one goes out and does not return back due to various reasons. We must not rely upon men and other means, to survive in the land of living. As children of God our hope must be on God. For David says, “Our help comes from God who made the Heaven and Earth.” The Bible says, it is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man. It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in princes.
This psalm teaches us to comfort ourselves in the Lord, when difficulties and dangers are greatest. It is Almighty wisdom that contrives, and Almighty power that works the safety of those that put them under God’s protection. He is a watchful Keeper; He is never weary; He neither sleeps nor slumbers. We need to sit under His shade and delight in His assurance. He is always near to His people for their protection and refreshment. You shall not be hurt, by the open assaults, nor by the secret attempts of your enemies. The Lord shall prevent the evil which you fear and lighten your heart. He will preserve your soul, from being defiled by sin and disturbed by affliction; He will preserve it from perishing eternally. He will keep you both in life and death.
You will know that your tent is secure; you will take stock of your property and find nothing missing. This is the gracious assurance which is made to all who put their trust in God. At home and abroad; in the house, in the field, and by the way; on the land and on the ocean; in their native country and in areas remote; on earth, they are always safe. No evil shall befall you. The Bible says, My People will dwell in a peaceful habitation in secure dwellings, and in quiet resting places.
God expects you to rely on Him completely, because He is “Ebenezer”. Ebenezer means “Thus far the Lord has helped us.”Hasn’t God helped you thus far? When all around you have been falling sick and dying, the Lord has preserved your life from Corona, He has extended your life. Isn’t this amazing? You need to trust in the faithfulness of God. You must depend upon Him for your very existence. Humble dependence upon God gives way to prosperity in your labour, in your industry, and productivity that can change the world.
God bless you.
Prayer: Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Thank You Lord because You take pleasure in helping your children. You send your angels as spirits to attend on your children. Help us to realize how important it is to depend upon You. May we look up to you who made the heaven and earth for our help. Make all our failures a success.
In Jesus name we pray.
Amen.
