HONOUR GOD’S PEOPLE

Dearly beloved, I greet and bless you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. The blessed word that the Lord has given for you today is from the book of  2 Kings 4:16, “About this time next year,” Elisha said, “you will hold a son in your arms.”

From the above context we learn that God had blessed the Shunammite woman. Since she was wealthy she was known as an honourable woman in the city.  In this episode we see how the Lord blessed the woman with a son just because she honoured the servant of God, and later he also restored the life of the Shunammite’s Son.  One day Elisha went to  Shunem,  a small town. And a well-to-do woman was there. She often urged him to stay for a meal. So whenever he came there, he stayed in her house top, there to eat. She provided   a small room on the roof and put in it a bed and a table, a chair and a lamp for him. ”So she arranged a room for the servant of God who often visited the town.   One day when Elisha came, he went up to his room and lay down there. One day Elisha said to his servant Gehazi, “Call the Shunammite.” So he called her, and she stood before him.  Elisha said to her, ‘You have taken   much trouble to accommodate   us    in your house.  Now what can we do for you in   return for the kindness you have shown to us.   Can we speak on your behalf of you to the king or the commander of the army?’”She replied, “I have a home among my own people.”I don’t need anything more. She was content with all that God had provided her.

But  Elisha wanted to show some favour to her in return for what she has  done for them.   Gehazi said, to Elisha,  “She has no son, and her husband is quite old. Then Elisha called her, and she came and stood in the doorway.  Then Elisha said, to her, “About this time next year, you will hold a son in your arms.” The woman became pregnant, and the next year about that same time she gave birth to a son, just as Elisha had told her. The child grew, and one day he went out to his father, who was with the reapers. He said to his father, “My head! My head is paining. His father told a servant, “Carry him to his mother.”  After the servant had lifted him up and carried him to his mother, the boy sat on her lap until noon, and then he died.  She went up and laid him on the bed of the man of God, then shut the door and went out. She called her husband and said, “Please send me one of the servants and a donkey, so I can go to the man of God quickly and return.” Her husband asked her  “Why go to him today?” “It’s not the New Moon or the Sabbath.” “That’s all right,” she said.  She saddled the donkey and said to her servant, “Lead on; don’t slow down for me unless I tell you.”  So she set out and came to the man of God at Mount Carmel.  When he saw her in the distance, the man of God said to his servant Gehazi, “Look! There’s the Shunammite!   Run to meet her and ask her, ‘Are you all right? Is your husband all right? Is your child all right?’” “Everything is all right,” she said.

When she reached the man of God at the mountain, she took hold of his feet, and asked him, “Did I ask you for a son, my lord?” she said. “Didn’t I tell you, ‘Don’t raise my hopes’?”Elisha said to Gehazi, “ Take my staff in your hand and run.. Lay my staff on the boy’s face.” But the child’s mother said, “As surely as the Lord lives and as you live, I will not leave you.” So Elisha, got up and followed her.  Gehazi went on ahead and laid the staff on the boy’s face, but there was no sound or response. So Gehazi went back to meet Elisha and told him, “The boy has not awakened.”  When Elisha reached the house, there was the boy lying dead on his couch.  He went in, shut the door behind him,   the two of them and prayed to the Lord.  Then he got on the bed and lay on the boy, mouth to mouth, eyes to eyes, hands to hands. As he stretched himself out on him, the boy’s body grew warm.  Elisha turned away and walked back and forth in the room and then got on the bed and stretched out on him once more. The boy sneezed seven times and opened his eyes. Elisha summoned Gehazi and said, “Call the Shunammite.” And he did. When she came, he said, “Take your son.” She came in, fell at his feet and bowed to the ground. Then she took her son and went out. Thus the Shunammite’s Son was restored to life.   I wish to tell those of you reading this message that when you honour the servant of God then God in turn blesses you with a good reward.  He will  see  what you lack in life and fulfil the desires of your heart. Submit your ways unto the Lord, trust also in Him and He shall bring it to pass.  God bless you.

Prayer:  Our loving heavenly Father, we   thank   You   for   this   blessed day. Dear Lord, we thank you for considering the shunammite woman and blessing her with a son, Not only did you bless her with a son, but also restored the life of her son from death. Consider us also and awaken all the dead situations in our life. May we too like the Shunamite woman rejoice in the Lord for the favour he had bestowed upon her.

In Jesus Name We Pray.

Amen.

The Blessings of Abraham

Dearly Beloved in Christ, I greet and bless you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. The blessed word that the Lord has given for you today is from the book of Genesis 24:1, “Now Abraham was old, well advanced in age, and the Lord had blessed him in everything.”

From the above context we learn that God called Abraham alone and asked him to follow Him. As he obeyed the voice of God, and followed God, God blessed him in everything. Similarly the Lord is going to bless all those of you who are reading this message. Halleluiah!  The Lord blessed Abraham in all things in all dimensions. The Lord will give you all   the blessings and help you live a successful life. Abraham was called as the friend of God. God who blessed Abraham is going to bless you with the same blessing upon your head, upon the head of your children, in your business centre, and also in your ministry. God had blessed Abraham in everything and had borne him even in his old age. The Lord protected him, carried him and led him, and blessed him with a son Isaac in his old age as He had promised, and spoke to him face to face whenever he desired to speak on several issues. In certain cases God sent his angels to talk to the people. But in the case of Abraham, God often appeared unto him and spoke to him.

This year you are going to experience, such an intimate relationship with God. God will speak to you through the Holy Spirit. When I waited in prayer, the Lord revealed, several things to me. One important thing that he shared with me is that, God is directly going to descend upon each one of you and give you a helping hand. He will directly intervene, with the problems which you face in your family and He will solve all your problems. He will change your situation, and help you live peacefully without any problem in your family. He will change everything for your good. And when God revealed His desire to me, I rejoiced in the Lord. When we interacted with several people,   they all told how God had intervened in their lives, and how they all had seen such visions. A brother told, that his son was caught up in a problem and he was to go to jail, but God had intervened, and saved his son from going to jail, in the last moment.

In recent times we have heard, many such testimonies, as to how God had protected His children, personally. And had delivered many of His children from their deathbed, and had set many free from bondage, and preserved them from all their troubles.  Even today the Lord is saying, to each one of you, “I will be with you as I was with Abraham.’’ Hallelujah!  God blessed Abraham in every way. Do you lack any blessings? God will undo all short comings and bless you abundantly.   God Bless You.

Prayer:  Our loving heavenly Father, we   thank   you   for   this   blessed day. Dear Lord, thank you so much for Abraham, with whom you spoke personally.  And blessed him in everything and gave him a son in his old age. You carried him in his old age and also protected him in his journey. Likewise dear Lord please help us in our journey.  Protect us from our enemies and from all danger and harm that could befall us. Help us to overcome all our problems, through Your strength.

In Jesus Name We Pray.

Amen.

Bountiful blessings

Dearly Beloved, I greet and bless you in the name of our Creator, Maker, and Ever Unforgettable Lord Jesus Christ. The Blessed word that the Lord   has given for you today is from the book of 2 Corinthians 8:9, “And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.”
From the above verse we come to understand that   God is able to bless you abundantly. So that you will have all things that you need, and you will abound in   every good   work.   Paul draws a comparison with the great and generous grace that God had bountifully poured out upon all humanity through our Lord Jesus Christ – for though He was rich beyond all measure, yet for our sakes He became poor, so that by His poverty He could make us rich. We realize that the glorious, infinite, eternal attributes of God, which our minds cannot conceive, of the infinite riches of the eternal Son of God, are beyond imagination. What Love! What Grace! What a God!

All  things were made by Him – all the riches of the earth and the wealth of sky – the treasures of the oceans and the bountiful resources of the vast universe – all things were made by Him and all things were made for Him. All these unimaginable riches and the glories of His elevated heavenly status were laid aside simply because of His GRACE towards us. All the inconceivable and vast riches of His glory were set aside for your sake and for mine and He stripped Himself of everything – becoming so poor that He did not even have a place to rest His head.    Though He was the Creator of the universe, He came into a fallen world that was in bondage to the evil governance of Satan.  God sent His son Jesus because of the love He had for you and me, so that by His deep poverty we might become rich.

God will fill all your emptiness and cause you to prosper by the riches of God. Today, He is coming down into your houses, as a God of riches. Halleluiah!  May be you are entangled in huge debts, and not able to come out of it.  And so you are so worried. You say, “Look I’m working so hard to repay my loans but nothing seems to end. Only the interest is getting over,  but the principal amount is still the same. If I earn ten thousand, I have expenditure to spend  at least twenty thousand. My expenditure is increasing all the more. So I am in a fix.”  As a result you don’t know what to do.  You think at times to end up your life.  Don’t worry, God will help you to repay your debts, in an unimaginable manner. Because, His ways are different from   yours. In order to end all your fears and doubts, God is opening doors of employment that could fetch better scale of pay. God is sending people to help you financially to help you repay your debts. If God could become poor to make you rich, can’t He help you pay all your debts. But on one   condition.  Obey God’s word. Fear God at all times. Humble yourselves before God and men. Never go about telling your sorrows to others, they will laugh at you. Commit your ways unto the Lord, trust also in Him and He shall bring it to pass.  God Bless you.

Prayer:  Our loving heavenly Father, we   thank   You   for this blessed day. Dear Lord,  how great is Your grace and love towards us  that You would strip Yourself of all Your glory  and  live a life of humiliating poverty, so that we could  become rich, materially and spiritually.   We praise Your Holy name.   Thank   You Lord for helping us in our difficult  situation.

 In Jesus Name We Pray.

Amen.

Prayer Has Great Power.

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, I greet and bless you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. The blessed word that the Lord has given for you today is from the book of James 5:16 “Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working.”

My Dear Brothers And Sisters, from the above context we learn that we need to pray for one another that you may be healed, because the prayer of a righteous Person, has great power to move the very heart of God. Prayer isn’t just about asking God for things you need or desire. It’s about establishing a relationship with Him built on faith and trust in Him. God knows the desires of your heart long before you even think to ask, but he still loves to hear from you—whether you’re asking for guidance or giving thanks—because it draws you closer to him. The Bible is full of people who were led to pray for a multitude of things, we still pray about today: fear, anger, worry. That’s why the Good Book is full of Bible verses about worry, Bible verses about strength, and Bible verses about hope.
My Dear Brothers And Sisters, The more you pray, the more you will be blessed. The little you pray the little you will be blessed. So ask God to give you the spirit of prayer. You need to pray well. You need to pray with power. You should pray in tongues. Ask God to give you the grace. I see in my spirit that many of you who are reading this message are receiving the grace of God and the spirit of prayer in your life. Begin to speak in tongues. Not only small children but also elderly people are beginning to pray in tongues. Speaking in tongues helps to edify you in spiritual life. When one is edified in spiritual life, then You will be blessed in all aspects of your life. When you are spiritually oriented then God will increase you with animals and people to support you and your family.

My Dear Brothers And Sisters, May be until today you have not been blessed with the gift of a child. And so you are disheartened. God will be merciful to you and bless all those of you, who are longing to have a child, with offspring. May be the curse of your family ancestors, or may be your own sinful life, could be the reason for your childlessness. So confess to the Lord saying, “Lord you have carried all the curse and sins which we have committed, and the curse of our ancestors, upon yourself and crucified it on the cross of Calvary. Therefore forgive us of our sins and all our short comings, and bless us with offspring. Let us not be barren anymore. And don’t put us to shame, Lord Jesus Have mercy on us.” When you pray to the Lord then he will hear your prayer and bless you with offspring as He blessed Rachel, Hannah, Sarah and Elizabeth. God Bless You.

Prayer: Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Dear Lord, thank You for speaking to us through this message, about prayer. Help us to pray in the spirit. Fill us with power. Teach us to pray in tongues. May we confess our sins with one another and to God Himself and receive the Blessing of God.

In Jesus Name We Pray.
Amen.

BE STRONG

I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given for you today is from the book of Joshua 1:9, “Be strong and of good courage, do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you, wherever you go.”

From the above context we come to understand that after, the children of Israel had wandered for 40 years, Joshua, the newly called Prophet, was charged with the daunting task of leading them into the Promised Land. This challenge included claiming the land from the current inhabitants, fighting battles and providing spiritual leadership for millions. Joshua may have felt the overwhelming weight of the task before him. And so the Lord offered these comforting yet encouraging words. “Be strong and of good courage, do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you, wherever you go.” Joshua was one of the most successful of all ancient leaders. He was one of the twelve spies of Israel, sent by Moses, to explore the land of Canaan. He was not afraid of the situation but bold in the Lord.

After Joshua was encouraged by the Lord, he boldly led the people of Israel into the land of Canaan and also distributed the land as an inheritance, allocated to the tribes of Israel as promised by the Lord God. In the same way, today the Lord tells you also, that He will go before you and make the crooked places straight. He will go before you and level the mountains that stand before you as blockage to your progress in life. Some of you are scared to take up responsibility. You seem to be so timid in nature. But God expects you to be bold and strong when you face challenges in your life. God will be with you and direct your steps. He says, this is the way, you walk in it. God is willing to instruct you and teach you in the way you should go. He will guide you with his eyes. Amen.
Therefore take up the responsibility boldly. For the Lord says, be bold, do not be discouraged. God who promised Joshua, did not forsake him. So when the Amorites attacked the Israelites, he prayed to the Lord. And asked God to let the sun stand still over Gibeon and Moon in the valley of Aijalon. Both the sun and the Moon stopped till the people had revenge over their enemies. The sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and did not, hasten to go down for about a whole day. And there has been no day, like that day, before it or after it. God was with Him. So God answered his prayer. He would have been a timid person, until Moses was the leader of Israel. But after his death God called him and strengthened him to carry out his task boldly. God not only gave him the leadership but also made him bold and strong.
Similarly the Lord will strengthen you and make you bold if you will depend upon Him for all your needs. Make Him the master of your life. Joshua was a good follower of Moses. He learnt all the precepts from his leader Moses and walked in his footsteps. He was one of the most successful of all ancient leaders. God will make you a leader too. God will not only lead you but also perform miracles for you.
Prayer: Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Thank you Lord for showing us the good nature of Joshua. May we learn from him the quality of leadership. Strengthen us to be bold and courageous in the task that is set before us. Help us when we call you . Teach us to obey You like Joshua did.

In Jesus name we pray.
Amen.
