GOD’s Command

Dearly Beloved in Christ, I greet and bless you in the name of our Creator, Maker, and ever unforgettable Lord Jesus Christ. The blessed word that the Lord has given for you today is from the book of Psalm 33:9, “For He spoke, and it was done, He commanded and it stood fast”.

For He spoke and it was done: The psalmist again considered the word of God and its effective power. God never speaks empty words; they are full of active power to insure their fulfilment. In the Bible we read the story of a Roman centurion who trusted Jesus   so much that he believed, God’s word which He spoke by His mouth. Jesus praised the faith of that centurion.  God expected that all men should fear the Lord.  Let all the earth fear the LORD; Let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of Him. People should set themselves in a state of humble awe before Him. “He who made all things, preserves all things, and can in a moment destroy all things, so we need to fear the Lord at all times.

The word of God is alive and active. We serve a God who thinks about our lives, our world, and His creation, on a completely different level, than even the smartest human can ever think. Not one of God’s promises has ever failed. The Bible says, “So shall My word be, which shall go forth from My mouth, it shall not return to me void. But it shall do whatsoever I please. And shall prosper in the things, for which I sent it.” We see how God performed a miracle for Joshua. He prayed, “O sun stand still over Gibeon, O moon stand over the valley of Aijalon.” Joshua, as leader of the Israelites, asks God to cause the moon and the sun to stand still so that he and his army might continue fighting by daylight. Following this battle, Joshua led the Israelites to several more victories, ultimately conquering much of Canaan. God worked a miracle for Gibeon, and saved Israel. God made the sun to stand still   for a day. Thus He exercised His power by speaking His words.

And it happened, as the Amorites, fled before Israel and were on the way of Beth Horon, that the Lord cast down large hailstones from heaven on them and they died. There were more who died from the hailstones than the number of people,   whom the children of Israel had killed with the sword. Then Joshua spoke to the Lord in the day when the Lord delivered up the Amorites before the children of Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel: “Sun, stand still over Gibeon; And Moon, in the Valley of Aijalon.”  So the sun stood still, and the moon stopped, till the people had revenge, Upon their enemies. Thus we see how the word of God has power.

God will enable you also to achieve victories in your life if you fear the Lord and walk in His ways as Joshua did.  God told Joshua,Only be strong and very courageous, that you may observe to do according to all the law which Moses My servant commanded you; do not turn from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may [prosper wherever you go.”Joshua obeyed God and so he prospered. You too will prosper if you obey the word of God, as there is power in His word. God Bless You.

Prayer:   Our   loving    heavenly Father, we thank   You   for this blessed day. Thank You, Father, for showing to us that your word is alive and active. And there is power in the word of God. Teach us to obey God’s word like Joshua, and be victorious in our lives. May we inherit that power which you granted to Joshua with which he was able to ask God to control the very sun and moon. Give us power through the reading of God’s word.

In Jesus Name We Pray.

Amen.

Impress The Word Of God

My dear brother and sister in Christ, I greet and bless you in the name of our Creator, Maker, and ever unforgettable Lord Jesus Christ. The blessed word that the Lord has given  for you today is from the book of Deuteronomy,11:18 “You shall therefore impress these words of mine on your heart and on your soul; and you shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontals on your forehead.”

My Dear Brothers And Sisters, From the above context   we  learn  that  God wants us to impress His word on our heart and on our soul. We need to bind them on our hands, also place them on our foreheads, so that we will always remember the word of God, and keep us away from doing any wrong deed.  In the Above   context we see that  Moses asked the Israelites to place these words on their heart and on their soul. He asked each individual Israelite to constantly reflect on the  principles   of  God  in order to remain faithful to their God Yahweh.  By  careful  observance of God’s  laws would demonstrate Israel’s genuine love for God  and would be a public demonstration of their commitment to Him. This of course would lead them to  be  a  nation full of prosperity and safety. God  asked  the Israelites  not  only  to reflect on God’s laws, but they needed to pass the knowledge  to   their descendants as well. In other words, the knowledge of God should  be imparted to their sons and daughters, too that  they may follow the commandments of God  to be blessed in the land that God was going to bless them with. A  good and large land,   flowing with milk and honey.

My Dear Brothers And Sisters,  God then told the people of Israel, to write them on the doorposts   of their houses  and gates of their cities.   Thus, by writing God’s laws on the doorposts of the houses and on gates  of the cities,   they could become acquainted to the laws of God. Doing so, would cause Israel to live the way God intended for them to live: as a kingdom of priests and a holy nation. If God’s people remained faithful to His commandments, they would not be removed from the land of Canaan. God granted the land of Canaan to Abraham and his descendants forever This was an unconditional and irrevocable promise and was a reward to Abraham for his faithful  service  to God.  God chose Abraham’s descendants (Israel) to be His own possession and they were the ones who would inherit the land   Canaan, in perpetuity.  However, in order to live and prosper in the new land, they required  to honour the  covenant of God and walk in obedience. God therefore said to them through Moses their leader,  saying, “You shall therefore impress these words of mine on your heart and on your soul; and you shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontals on your forehead. You shall teach them to your sons, talking of them when you sit in your house and when you walk along the road and when you lie down and when you rise up. You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates, so that your days and the days of your sons may be multiplied on the land which the Lord swore to your fathers to give them, as long as the heavens remain above the earth.

My Dear Brothers And Sisters, similarly,  if you need to be successful and prosperous in this world you need to inscribe the word of God in your heart and mind and soul. We see many people hang many Biblical scriptures on their walls and door posts of their houses as a sign of obedience to God’s word. Moreover they read verses from the calendar  as daily promise for them to be spiritually oriented and also to remember these promises of God to prevent them from doing wrong. We often tend to commit mistakes but if these verses are uploaded in our heart and mind they will immediately remind us of the error we might happen to make and protect us from some kind of evil deed. The Holy Spirit will immediately caution us from doing the mistake. Apostle Paul says,  The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart”—that is, the word of faith,  which we are preaching.  For the word of the Lord is right,  And all His work is done in truth.  He who is of God hears the word of God. Do you hear the word of God? Or do you neglect the word of God?  The Bible says,  This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you[  shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. God bless you.

Prayer:   Our   loving    heavenly Father,  we  thank   You   for  this blessed day. Thank You, Father, for  encouraging us through the message to impress the words of God in our heart and mind. Teach us to store it  in our mind.  Thank You Lord,  for telling us that we need to be   rich in the word of God to keep us away from doing wrong deeds and also to be prosperous and successful in our life.  We who are called the seed of Abraham, must receive the blessings of God. Accordingly we pray that You will bless us  with  special  wisdom  to understand the Word Of God.

In Jesus Name We Pray.

Amen.

The Living Word Of God

My dear brother and sister in Christ, I greet and bless you in the name of our Creator, Maker, and ever unforgettable Lord Jesus Christ. The blessed word that the Lord has given  for you today is from the book of  Hebrews 4:12. “For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart.”

My Dear Brother and Sister, From the above context   we  learn  that  Jesus Christ is the Living  Word  of God.   He  is  traced  in   every page of the written Word of God.    He  stands in contrast to all that we are. His   eyes search out all the dross and dirt  that is rooted in the soul of man. His Word of Truth exposes everything in me,(us)  that is not of Christ: my-self, my-hypocrisy, my-insincerity, and my-unbelief. The Word of God is living, because He is the living God , Who breathes life into us and in Whom are the Words  of eternal life. The Word of God is active. It is dynamic and miraculous. It is vigorous and lively because the Spirit of the living God is the eternal Source of power, that moved holy men of God to write  and later  pass on His supernatural message to us – through the living Word of God. The Word of God is sharper than any two-edged sword. It is like the razor-sharp blade of a double-edged sword, with the ability to cut into the deepest area of our heart and soul.  It can differentiate between words, actions, thoughts, and motives, that are in tune with   Jesus  and words, actions, thoughts, and motives, that speaks about ourselves.

My Dear Brother and Sister,  The Word of God, is  so   piercing that it has the ability to separate the soul of man from the spirit, just as the butcher’s razor-sharp blade slices the joint of meat from the marrow-bone. The Spirit of the living God is able to judge the deepest thoughts and intentions of the heart of every man.   Every spoken Word from the lips of Christ are Life and Truth. All the written Words of Scripture give wholeness and health to those who believe. How vital it is to take His Word deep into our hearts. God’s purpose, for all who believe, is to conform us into the image and likeness of Christ, and the stark reality of Scripture is the contrast of God’s amazing grace towards us… with our own rebellious   nature.  It contrasts His faithfulness with our unbelief. The Word of truth exposes our deceitfulness and our unworthiness.

My Dear Brother and Sister,   Throughout this life, the Word of God continues to lay bare the truth, in the inward parts of man.   It is  God’s gracious, loving-kindness that God brings each of us to face such truths, so that He can purge out the old Self   and form in us the pure and holy nature of the Lord Jesus. The sharp, active, living, powerful, wonderful Word of God, is used by the Holy Spirit in each of our lives, to convict, convert, comfort, and conform us into Christ’s likeness, and to prepare us… during our lifetime, for the spiritual rest, eternal life, and future glory, that is laid-up for us in heaven.  Therefore let us, in  all humility of heart, and patient endurance, permit the testing work of the Holy Spirit to penetrate deep into our heart.  Let us embrace the everlasting truth that God’s Word is living and active, powerful and sharp… and allow Him to complete the good work He has started within us.

My Dear Brother  and  Sister, Those of you who are reading this message, may now come to  know the work of the Holy Spirit through the Living Word of God. May God help you to read the Bible daily. As you read the word of God  you will realize how good or bad you are. It will be a privilege for you to correct yourself. And this will surely help you to walk in the ways of God. King David himself says, “Thy word have I hid in my heart, that I might not sin against thee.”He realized that he had done wrong. Moreover He says, “ Your word has given me life. And has given me comfort   in my affliction.  ”So we see how the word of God can react in a person’s life. The Living word of God is powerful and also has life. That is why  it is referred to as  two-edged sword, which pierces   the  soul and spirit, and  is able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart. May we rejoice   by the reading of God’s word,   rather than keep it in the show case or upon our bed, by the side of our pillow.  Never fail to read the Bible   daily. In case you   do not have the habit of reading the Bible,  here  after read  it regularly. Because the Bible or the Word  Of  God  is Jesus Christ. The Bible is a spiritual treasure to every believer. God Bless You.

Prayer:   Our   loving    heavenly Father,  we  thank   You   for  this blessed day. Thank You, Father, for the living, powerful Word of God. We  pray that the Holy Spirit would continue to convict, convert, comfort, and conform us  into the image of the lovely Lord Jesus, so that we  become the person You want us to be. Help us never to  hinder the work of the Holy Spirit within us. Root out all that is not of Christ. May we  develop  the habit of reading the Bible regularly.  Thank You for  loving  us so much,  that You decided  to change all those who believe  you,   into the image and likeness of Christ Jesus.  Help us to imitate Christ in our life.

In Jesus Name We Pray.

Amen.

The Lord Must Reign

My dear brother and sister in Christ, I greet and bless you in the name of our Creator, Maker, and ever unforgettable Lord Jesus Christ. The blessed word that the Lord has given  for you today is from the book of  Isaiah 40:10, “ Behold, The Lord shall come, with a strong hand. And His arm shall rule for Him. Behold His reward is with Him. And His work before Him.”

My Dear Brother And Sister, from the above context we understand, that the Lord will come with a strong hand, and His arm shall rule for Him. The Lord will come with power, and His reward is with Him, to all those who obey His command. He will come and rule over your family with a mighty arm. He will not come with an empty hand. The Lord says,  “I am the LORD thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt: open   your  mouth wide, and I will fill it”. God wants to fill your mouth with all good things.  When He comes He will bring many gifts or rewards to give His children. He wants to come into your home. The Lord who comes into your house will perform miracles, for you by His power. In the past, since  you gave yourselves, into the hands of the devil, to reign over your family, you faced much destruction. Not  only   your family but even the nation as such faced many problems. God does not want such events to repeat again in your family or in the nation.

My Dear Brother And Sister, The Bible says, “ And He will reign over the house of Jacob, forever, and of His kingdom, there will be no end”. This was the declaration made when Jesus was born in the city of David. That He will rule over the nations and there will be no end to His reign. He will reign over Israel, the house of Jacob forever. You who are reading this message are eagerly waiting to receive the blessings of God. The Bible says, He loads His children  daily with benefits.  Blessed be the Lord, Who daily loads us with benefits, The God of our salvation!  The God of Israel is He,   who gives strength and power to His people. What a privilege, it is to enjoy such benefits from the Lord God of Heaven. Ask this God to come into your house and reign your family forever. Hand over the responsibilities of your family into the hands of the Lord. Ask Him to take control of your family. Today  you submit your family , your children into the hands of the Lord. You may not be able to control your grown up children, or your  husband or  you’re   in laws, your daughter, or your son. When things go beyond your  control  submit them to the Lord. He will take care of you and your family.

My Dear Brother And Sister, The Bible says, The   descendants  of Jacob, of the tribe of Israel. We  also in a way belong to the  descendant  of Jacob, and therefore have the right to claim God’s promises for ourselves.  So tell the Lord to reign over your family. When God begins to reign your family then many good things will happen. For He is the Sovereign God of the universe. The Bible says, “ The Lord shall reign forever, Your God , O Zion, to all generations.”And when the Lord begins to reign your family, He will bring  out  those who are in darkness, to light,  He will arise all those who are bowed down in their social, material and financial status  in life. He   will keep a watch over the strangers. He will relieve all the fatherless and the widows.  He raises the poor out of the dust, And lifts the needy out of the ash heap. He grants the barren woman a home, Like a joyful mother of Children. He will fill the hungry soul with His goodness. What  a great God we have! Call Him to your house today before it is late.

My Dear Brother And Sister, I wish to remind each one of you,  that our homes and the nation as such have all been stained by dirt. By unpleasant behaviour before God Almighty. That is why we had to go through much turmoil and tussle in recent times. What more is awaiting is unknown. Firstly the people were affected by Corona, then we hear of yellow fungus, black fungus. Many died  during this period of time. The nation was in tears wailing over its loved ones. There was no place to bury the dead, We did not have enough oxygen cylinders, or ambulances, to take the patients to the hospital.  There was no place to cremate the bodies. There was no place to keep the body in the mortuary too. What a pitiable sight, it was to see people crying over their loved ones. May God through these agonious experiences that we have gone through, turn our hearts towards God and allow Him to reign our homes, our families. So that God will protect, guard and keep us safe from the oncoming danger in the near future.  May we hold on to God for all our needs. Never think with pride that you can do everything by yourselves. For the Bible says,”’ You can do nothing without Me.”Without God it is difficult to survive. We need His grace  and Mercy. Through the Lords mercies we are not consumed. Because His compassions fail not. Make the Lord the portion of your life. God Bless You.

Prayer:   Our   loving    heavenly Father,   we    thank   You  for  this  blessed  day.  Father God, we   thank   you for   telling us through this message ,  that we need to ask  God to reign our homes. And Reign our families.  Thank You Lord for reminding the horrors of destruction and the agony we had experienced in recent times. Help us to overcome our sorrows and return to God . Teach us to repent of our wrong doings. May we learn to walk faithfully before God.

In Jesus Name We Pray.

Amen.

You shall be inhabited

I greet and bless you in the name of our Creator, Maker, and ever unforgettable Lord Jesus Christ. The blessed word that the Lord has given for you today is from the book of Isaiah 44:26, Who confirms the word of His servant, And performs the counsel, of His Messengers. Who says, to Jerusalem, “You shall be inhabited.”  To the cities of Judah, “You shall be built.” And I will raise up her waste places.”

From the above context we read that God confirms His word to His servant, either a Pastor, or An Evangelist, or an Elder of a Church.  And God performs the counsel of His messengers.  Thus   we see that God speaks to His people, through His ministers who are ambassadors for Christ. Most of you are reading this message with a hope of receiving the blessing of God. The Bible says, “It pleased the Lord to Bless Israel.”But the enemy namely the king of Moab appointed Balaam the Messenger to come and curse the people of Israel.  God did not allow Balaam to curse but instead he blessed the people of Israel. God would put in the very words into his mouth, for him to speak, over the people of Israel that He wanted to convey to His Children. And when the messengers of God spoke those words,   God makes it to pass.   For He is a wonder working God. He does wonders beyond number.

God is seen in our midst, as a God, who fulfils all things that He has spoken. Whether the words were spoken by God, or whether it was His prophesy, so long it may not have been fulfilled in your life.   But in the future it will surely come to pass. God says, the words spoken by the ministers are not the words of the ministers, but they are words from God, directly spoken through the servant of God. God expresses His ownership of His servants, who minister unto Him. God says, “The words that I speak through My servant will be fulfilled in its time. God also gives counselling through His servant for the welfare of you and your family. God will fulfil their counselling and make you joyful. My sincere advice is that you must never think cheap or underestimate your pastors who come to your house to pray for you or give counselling to you. Whatever they do will be for your good. The Pastors, Preachers, Ambassadors, Evangelists, are chosen by God to shepherd His sheep. Or the sheep might get lost without correct direction or counselling.  God says, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.”

Therefore never think very low about them. Never think that these servants of God come into your house for their personal benefit. But always think that God is sending them to your houses to bless you and your family. They usually visit your house to solve your problems. Or to pray for you or to give you good counselling in order that peace reigns within your family between you and your wife or between you and your children. For God is always mindful of you. Consider those servants of God who come into your homes as if JESUS came into your home. You should have that sort of feeling and receive them with great reverence and fear. Then God who tests the hearts and mind, will bless you   abundantly. You do your part, God will do His part. It is a great blessing to you and your family when the feet of such Holy men step into your homes. Be free to share your problems with them they will be able to counsel you correctly in those areas which are difficult for you to handle. Many think Pastors come regularly on the 1st of every month for collection. No never.  No pastors depend upon your contribution for their survival.  They are God’s ambassadors, so they will never lack any   good thing. Moreover they learn to be content with what God has blessed them with. They are Rich in the Lord and His Word. God will provide them with Manna which He has in store for them.

I would like to tell you of how the Lord provided for His special people the Levites. Israel as such were twelve tribes. Of which Levi was chosen to serve God in His temple.. When God asked Joshua to distribute the portion of land property, both Joshua, and Caleb distributed   correctly as the Lord had commanded to the eleven tribes. But to the tribe of Levi God did not give them a separate portion. God Himself was their portion. He was their wealth for they were separated for God, to do His work in the temple of God.   Hence God had instructed all the eleven tribes to give the best and first portion of their produce for the tribe of the Levites. As they were ministers, and ambassadors of God.   Halleluiah!   God said to the tribe of the Levites, “I am your inheritance and your portion and wealth.” Therefore being the wealth of God,   how can they be underestimated?  May this message help you to honour and give due respect to your Pastors, Preachers and Ambassadors of God. Never reject or disapprove the servants of God. Never rebuke them or insult them. Treat them well with reverence and respect. Then God will fulfil all your needs in good measure. God Bless you.

Prayer:   Our   loving    heavenly Father,   we    thank   You for this blessed day.  Father God, we thank you for   telling us through this message the importance of Pastors and Ambassadors, who are your representatives. Teach us to honour them and pay due respect to them. May we consider them as Jesus, when they visit our homes and learn to treat them properly and not be reluctant to receive them or think low about them. Help us to have a better understanding about them and treat them well. May they be of great blessing to us and our family.

In Jesus Name We Pray.

Amen.
