GOD’S POWER

I greet and bless you in the name of our Creator, Maker, and ever unforgettable Lord Jesus Christ. The blessed word that the Lord has given for you today is from the book of Deuteronomy 32:9 says, “For the Lord’s portion is His people; Jacob is the place of His inheritance.”

Many of you are reading this message with much burden, in your heart. The  Lord  spoke   to  me  saying   that  My children are My treasure. Therefore I will be their treasure too. This message is basically to promote good relationship between your family members, Your husband, your children and your in laws. It’s too painful to hear many incidents regarding sisters who after being married are prone to suffer in their husband’s house.  Those sisters are saying that their in laws are thinking very cheap about them. They don’t respect them for what they are. They are often treated as servants or slaves. Jesus says, it does not matter how others think about you, since you belong to God,  you are precious in His sight.

And you are His greatest treasure.  Through this message the Lord wants to bless you and keep you as the apple of His eyes   as you are the portion of the Lord Jesus Christ. The Bible says, “He found him in a desert land, and in the waste land a howling wilderness, He encircled him, He instructed him, He kept Him as the apple of His eyes. In this passage God assures to bless Jacob and prosper him. Likewise the Lord wants to bless you so that you remain cheerful and happy in your family. God is so mindful of you and the members of your family. It pleases God to bless Israel. Who is this Jacob the Lord is talking about in this message? Well he is the Lord’s favourite. He respected the anointing of the Lord that was upon him. Isaac the father of Jacob was blessed with two beautiful sons. The eldest was Esau and the youngest was Jacob. Having well grown, the eldest son turned out to be a wild hunter. And Jacob was a homely boy who was his mother’s favourite. Once Esau returned from hunting, He was very hungry so he asked Jacob  for a cup of porridge. Jacob agreed to give him his porridge provided he sold his birth right to him.  They were twin brothers. Esau was so hungry and tired that he happened to forget the worth of his anointing and gave it off for a cup of porridge. This is considered to be a grave mistake of Esau. So he lost the blessings of God.Thus we see that Jacob got the way or passage to inherit the blessings of God.

Prayer:    Our   loving    heavenly Father, we thank   You   for this blessed day. Father God we thank You for granting four blessings as prophesy to us through this message. We have been blessed by this message on family relationship. Thank You Lord for changing the attitude of our husbands towards us ( the wives) that we may lead a quiet and happy family life. Thank You for opening the wombs of those, whose wombs were closed until today. Help them conceive and beget children and make their husbands happy. Make us to be joyful mothers. Give us the wisdom to deal wisely in all our family matters and be a help mate to our husbands and good mother to our children.

In Jesus Name We Pray.

Amen.

GREAT REWARD

My Beloved in Christ, I greet and bless you in the name of our Creator, Maker, and ever unforgettable Lord Jesus Christ. The blessed word that the Lord has given for you today is from the book of Ruth 3:10,11, He said, “May ADONAI bless you, my daughter. Your latest kindness is even greater than your first, in that you didn’t go after the young men, neither the rich ones nor the poor.  And now, my daughter, don’t be afraid. I will do for you everything you say, for all the city leaders among my people know that you are a woman of good character.”

God who sees you in secret will bless you outwardly. From the above context, we learn that Boaz blesses  Ruth and shows kindness to her.  The conduct of Boaz calls for the highest praise. He attempted not to take advantage of Ruth; he did not disdain her as a poor, destitute stranger, nor suspect her of any ill intentions. He spoke honourably of her as a virtuous woman, made her a promise, and sent her away with a present to her mother-in-law. Boaz made his promise conditional, for there was a kinsman nearer than he, to whom the right of redemption belonged.

Naomi asked Ruth to behave wisely with her distant relative, Boaz who was the owner of the field in which Ruth went to glean barley and wheat till the end of the harvest season. Ruth behaved well as she was instructed by her mother in law. Therefore she found grace in the sight of Boaz.    And Boaz answered and said to her, “It has been fully reported to me, all that you have done for your mother-in-law since the death of your husband, and how you have left your father and your mother and the land of your birth, and have come to a people whom you did not know before.  The   Lord,  repay your work, and a full reward be given you by the Lord God of Israel, under whose wings you have come for refuge.” Ruth  had shown much love to her husband while living and dying, and to her mother-in-law, in leaving her country Moab, and kindred to come with her into a strange country, Bethlehem,   and in labour to support her, as she had done, all which was great kindness,  but the kindness she now showed exceeded all the former, in that she was desirous, according to the law of God, to build up her husband’s family, to marry the next near kinsman, eventhough an old man, to raise up seed to the name and memory of her husband.

Now Boaz mentions this as an instance of her virtue, and of her great respect to her husband’s family, that a woman of such amiable qualities, virtuous, young, and beautiful, who doubtless might have been married to a young man in her own country, or in Israel, but chose to marry the nearest of kin in her husband’s family, to perpetuate his name and memory. When Ruth left her home and followed her mother in law to Bethlehem she did not expect that God would give her  another opportunity to live her life. Though she had returned  as  a widow, to Bethlehem,  God rewarded her for her faithfulness  towards her mother in law. Moreover she accepted her God as her God and the people of Naomi as her people. This pleased the Lord. Though she was a young Moabites woman a forsaken widow, Boaz did not despise her, nor did he underestimate her in any way. Instead he called her blessed. God will bless you too and give you another opportunity to live your life provided you remain faithful to your parents or you’re in laws. God who sees you in secret will bless you outwardly. God Bless you.

Prayer:   Our loving heavenly Father,  we thank   You for this blessed day. Heavenly Father, thank You for showing to us the unique character of Naomi,  Ruth and Boaz. You helped them to be honest and faithful to each other. Enable us to learn from them the art of good behaviour. Kindness,  long-suffering and bearing with one another. Reward us too,  as You rewarded Ruth and Boaz and Naomi.

In Jesus Name We Pray.

Amen.

VOICE OF THE LORD

Dearly Beloved,  I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given for you today, is from the book of  2 Samuel 28:17,18 “ And the Lord hath done to him, as he spake by me: for the Lord hath rent the kingdom out of Your   hand, and given it to thy neighbour, even to David:  Because you did not   obey  the voice of the Lord, nor executed his fierce wrath upon  Amalekites, , therefore hath the Lord done this thing unto thee this day.”

From the above context we understand that our God takes vengeance   on those who disobey him and fail to please Him.  So the Lord took away the kingdom from the hand of Saul and gave to David who was a shepherd boy. Moreover king Saul spared the king of the Amalakites and took for  himself  the  best of sheep and cattle  after the battle.     He was supposed to destroy everything but he disobeyed Gods command.  So the wrath of God fell upon king Saul.

Saul was physically impressive. He was a big   and strong man. He had a great feature for leading   an   army into battle. It   was  at this time when the people of Israel rejected God and wanted a king for themselves. So  God’s word came to Samuel the prophet, to select Saul as the king of Israel. Therefore Samuel took a flask of oil and poured it upon Saul and anointed him as the king of Israel. He was the first king of Israel. God was pleased  with him. But gradually Saul’s disobedience and foolishness brought down his downfall.

God commanded King Saul to completely destroy all the people, men and women,   and all the cattle, while fighting the Amalakites.  But Saul spared the life of Agag the king of  Amalakite ,   and took some of the best sheep and cattle for himself. When he was warned   by prophet Samuel  that his kingdom was about to be taken he  sought  the  help of the  witch  or  Endor  the woman who spoke with the spirits as to what he should do to continue as king. He failed to inquire of God what he should do and did not even have the courtesy to ask pardon  from God for all his wrong doings. He forgot God who made him the king of Israel. God regretted for making Saul the king.

As long as Saul obeyed God, he prospered. But when he went away from God, Satan easily brought about his downfall. Satan waits to trap you and destroy you completely. So it is always necessary for us to remain with God and not get away from God. When Saul was accused of sin his first instinct was denial and blame shifting. He was unwilling to accept his mistake. Therefore while in battle field against the Philistines, along with his three sons against the Philistines,  he was badly hurt by an arrow. The Philistines were chasing after him, he did not want to die in the hands of his enemies so he took his sword and fell upon it and died. Even his three young sons died in the battle.

Let us examine ourselves and see where we stand. With God or with the Devil who walks   about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Saul was admired for his personality and bravery but he fell because of his pride and disobedience to God. You too might be trudging in series of failures one after the other, or may be going through a great loss in your business or caught up in a huge debt. May be you are stuck with serious health problem or going through a shameful situation because of your own children. Whatever may be the reason for your affliction, check if you have troubled anyone in your life or ill-treated someone for petty reasons. Reconcile with God. Renew your relationship with God for a better future. God bless you.

Prayer: Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Lord we  pray that,  we belong to You always and not the devil. Forsake us not Oh God. Keep us always at Your side.  Teach us to do the right thing in our life. Help us to be obedient and pleasing unto You.  Correct our mistakes and lead us in the right track that we may receive greater blessing from the Lord. In Jesus name we pray.
Amen.

The Lord Is Gracious

I greet and bless you in the name of our Creator, Maker, and ever unforgettable Lord Jesus Christ. The blessed word that the Lord has given for you today is from the book of Psalms 86:15, “You, O Lord are a God full Of Compassion, and gracious, Longsuffering and abundant in mercy and truth.”

From the above passage we come to understand that our God is a God,   Of Compassion, and is gracious, Longsuffering and abundant in mercy and truth. “When Jesus lived on the face of this earth He went about doing good. For God the Father had anointed Him with the Holy Spirit, and with power, so Jesus went about doing good to all and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him. On one such occasion, when Jesus came out of the boat and landed on the shore, He saw a great multitude, He was moved with compassion, because they were like sheep without a shepherd. So He began teaching them many things.  When the day was now far spent, His disciples came to Him and said, “This is a deserted place, and already the hour is late. Send them away, that they may go into the surrounding country and villages and buy themselves bread; for they have nothing to eat.” But Jesus said to them,  “You give them something to eat.”And they said to Him, “Shall we go and buy two hundred denarii worth of bread and give them something to eat?”But He said to them, “How many loaves do you have? Go and see.”And when they found out they said, “Five, loaves and two fish. Then Jesus commanded them to make them all sit down in groups on the green grass.  So they sat down in ranks, in hundreds and in fifties. And when He had taken the five loaves and the two fish, He looked up to heaven, blessed and broke the loaves, and gave them to His disciples to set before them; and the two fish He divided among them all. So they all ate and were filled.

Then the disciples took up twelve baskets full of fragments and of the fish. Now those who had eaten the loaves were about five thousand men.  From this miracle we see how the Lord was able to feed the five thousand. This shows that the Lord is gracious and compassionate; slow to anger, and rich in love. The Lord is good to all and shows no partiality. He has compassion on all,   whom He has made. To those of you who are reading this message with much interest and waiting   on  God to show you

compassion, as He had shown to the five   thousand people, I wish to share of what God had done for a brother working in Dubai. He had sent me a mail saying; He watches our programmes regularly and is being comforted by the messages. He said, “Brother I am struggling to move forward in my life. I have been trapped with a huge debt. I am working in Dubai for nearly fifteen years. But I have debts all over, bank loan and credit card balance, to be paid, and many other loans taken to help my family down south in Tamil Nadu. I  am not in a position to repay my loans. Everything has accumulated. Therefore the court has seized my passport   fearing that I would escape without paying the dues. The police have filed the cases and it is in progress. Therefore I am unable to visit my people for any reason be it good or bad. I am not able to attend a wedding function or a funeral of my dear ones. I am caught up in a tight corner situation. The foreign government has made a check over me, that I should not leave the country at any cost,   and has placed me under the police custody.

That Brother had stated in his mail, “Yet   I believe that God alone can help me in this situation.    If God delivers me from this trouble I will remain grateful to Him all the days of my life.” This last line touched my heart. I sincerely prayed for him and for his deliverance from all his debts, and that he should be a free man and be able to visit his hometown and his family.  This brother had suffered in this situation for three long years. He was out of Job, no passport to leave the country. Just imagine his state of life. He was filled with shame and horror.   I wrote to him comforting him from God’s word and reassuring him, asking him to commit all his ways unto the Lord. Trust also in God and God will surely bring it to pass.  For Our God is a God, of compassion, He will be gracious and merciful to you and help you come out of this problem successfully.’ Saying this I sent reply mail to him, with much prayer and supplication.

He also adhered to my counselling and submitted himself to God. After few weeks he had a call form Sharjah court. Asking him to come and collect his pass port. He was further asked to receive all his documents, after paying the fine charges. All his court cases were nullified.  And so he was released from all the cases filed against him. This was unbelievable so he was wonderstruck. He was reinstated in his job. Hallelujah! If Only God of compassion arises in your life, then He will come down in a marvellous manner and do justice to you. Believe in the God of compassion and He will sustain you. God bless you.

Prayer:    Our loving heavenly Father, we thank   You for this blessed day. Heavenly Father, thank You for teaching us to commit our ways unto the Lord. We are glad to realize that God is compassionate and shows no partiality. Also, we thank God that He arises and descends upon the poor and distressed to show them mercy and compassion because He is a God of justice. Lord be merciful to us for we totally depend upon you.

In Jesus Name We Pray.

Amen.

GOD WILL GUIDE YOU

Dearly Beloved, I greet and bless you in the name of our Creator, Maker, and ever unforgettable Lord Jesus Christ. The blessed word that the Lord has given for you today is from the book of Deuteronomy 32: 12, 13 “The Lord alone led him; no foreign god was with him.  He made him ride on the heights of the land and fed him with the fruit of the fields.   He nourished him with honey from the rock, and with oil from the flinty crag. ”

From the above context we learn that the Lord led Israel through the deserts all  alone by Himself.  He led them by the power of His arms.   Israel did not have any other gods besides God Yahweh, when they started their journey from the shores of the RED SEA   as they  witnessed the great power of God, that separated the RED SEA  into two,   letting the people of Israel pass through the dry ground.  God also displayed His power, by sending   the many plagues into the land of Egypt that caused them to drive the people of Israel out of the land, to worship the Lord in the wilderness.  As we look back on our lives, we hope that others will remember the good things about us.  And we genuinely thank God that our sins are forgiven, and we praise Him, that   He has clothed us in Christ’s righteousness and remembers our sins no more.

Further we see how God made Israel to ride on the high places of the earth.  This means that God helped them to   take   possession of their neighbouring   country. Israel, having now   occupied Canaan, could eat of its produce, the increase of the fields, as his own. Honey out of the rock, and oil out of the flinty rock. Canaan abounded in wild bees, which had their hives in crevices of the rock, and in olive trees, which grew on a rocky soil; as is still the case in Palestine.  God wanted His people to eat and  enjoy  the increase of the fields: the produce of them, particularly corn for bread, and which the Israelites ate of as soon as they came into the land of Canaan, God also made the people of Israel   to suck honey out of the rock; not water alone, but honey.  God even provided oil out of the olives, which grow on rocks, and these delight to grow on hills and mountains; hence we read of the Mount of Olives, and the blessings of grace which are cheering and refreshing, pacifying and healing, feeding and fattening, pure and unmixed, and useful for light, as oil is.  These speak of the greatness of the good and large land Canaan flowing with milk and honey.

Moses, recounts the wilderness wanderings of those who escaped Egyptian slavery, and was delivered to a new generation of Israelites. The Song of Moses gives a vivid contrast between the Lord’s cherished cares of Israel, who were ‘the apple of God’s eye’, with Israel’s ingratitude.  Although the  nation of Israel began well, by trusting God’s Word and following all that He commanded,  they quickly corrupted themselves and strayed far away from the Lord, and the song Moses sang, was a reminder of God’s great goodness, against sinful, rebellious Israel. Moses recalled how God had separated Israel from all the other nations, set national boundaries, and made Israel His inheritance. He reminded them how God had found them, cared for them, guarded, and protected them. God Who rescued Israel from Egypt, and provided for them and protected them for 40-long years, was the ONE GOD  YAHEWEH , ‘The LORD alone guided him’.  “The LORD alone guided Israel” – His firstborn, “and there was no foreign god with him. The Lord led His people with a pillar of fire by night and a pillar of cloud by day… and none of the Egypt gods were with the people, nor were any  other gods of the Gentile nations, that surrounded them. Moses wanted the people to remember that NO ONE but the God of Israel guided them through the wilderness. Some trust in chariots, and some trust in horses, but we are to trust in name of the Lord our God.

To those of you who are reading this message, with much expectation,  I wish to tell you that  today, men do not put their trust in chariots and horses, but too often our faith is in a healthy bank-balance, or our well-built houses, governmental handouts, a secure job, a quick-witted intellect, or a myriad of consumables. At a time when everything that can be shaken is being challenged, we need to place our faith in the one sure Foundation – the Lord Jesus Christ.   Just as the Lord guided, protected, loved, and cared for Israel, so He guides, protects, loves, and cares for us.  May we learn the lessons that God would teach us from Israel’s devastating failures as well as their wise choices to trust in the Lord alone – Who alone will guide us into all truth.  God Bless you.

Prayer:    Our loving heavenly Father,  we thank   You for this blessed day. Heavenly Father, we thank You for the way You are leading and guiding us,   during the difficult days that we face in our day-to-day lives,  just as you protected and cared for Your people Israel,  throughout their history. Thank You that when we lose heart, You remain faithful. Thank You that when we wander from Your perfect path of righteousness, You are there to lead, and to guide us into the way of truth. Keep us looking to Jesus and trusting in You in all things.

In Jesus Name We Pray.

Amen.
