Mark 9:23, “Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”
My dearly beloved in Christ, I greet and bless you all in the Name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Today’s word of God for you, is taken from the book of Mark 9:23, “Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”
A man’s life is based on his faith. It is his trust that he is able to establish his life. If he loses his faith in any particular thing then he cannot do or achieve anything in his life, and even his physical health will be badly affected. His mind gets affected, and he becomes very weary and sick. Everything comes to an end for him. But faith encourages him to raise up again.
I have good counseling for children who are saying “Nothing good has happened in my life so far”. Today, Increase your faith in God. Because all things are possible to those who believe in God. So, all you got to do is to have faith in God and also have faith in yourself because you belong to God. Then you can achieve everything in life.
In the Bible we can see, a father brought his young son to Jesus, and the father told Jesus that his son was suffering from a very small age. And the evil spirit in him was pushing him into fire or water in order to kill him. The Devil was only looking for a chance to kill him. The father had suffered immensely because of the young boy. The father had heard of Jesus. So, he knew that if he approached the Lord Jesus Christ, then he would get a solution to his problem. So having faith in Jesus he brought his young son to Him. He did not know any other way but to come to Jesus. The Father believed that Jesus was the only way, and so he came to Him. At that time Jesus said to him, “If you believe then you shall see the glory of God.”
By saying this Jesus was trying to tell the father, that if he believed then his son would be delivered from the clutches of the evil spirit. So, the father replied to Jesus, “Lord I believe but in case I fail to believe, then I pray that You will help my unbelief.” So, he prayed to the Lord to help him have faith in God. And because he prayed, and admitted his weakness to the Lord, God delivered his son from the hold of the evil spirit. God delivered the young man from fits that caused him to fall into fire and water. The boy was delivered from his suicidal attempt. God immediately delivered the boy from the grip of the evil spirit and handed him over to his father. But when did Jesus do that? When the father prayed to the Lord to save him from his unbelief. He said, that he believed that Jesus, could deliver his son, but then in case he failed to believe or have faith, then he cried out to the Lord saying, “Lord help my unbelief.”
Today most of you are praying for various things, to get a car, to get a house, to secure a job, to get married, for the blessing of a child, but how many of you are praying to the Lord, to save you from your unbelief or to help you have more faith in God. When you pray to the Lord, that God should save you from all your unbelief then the Lord will perform miracles in your life, God will strengthen your faith, and you shall be delivered from all your unbelief. Because all things are possible to them that believe in His name. So have faith in the word of God, then the request you pray for shall be answered.
Prayer: Dear Lord, we thank You. Lord, help my children not to be unfaithful. I pray that they will be more faithful to God. Let all unbelief be removed from their heart and mind. Help my children see the glory of God. Let every plan of the evil spirit be uprooted from their life. Deliver them and bless them to live a life that pleases You.
In Jesus Name we pray.
Amen.
Dearly Beloved, I greet and bless you in the name of our Creator, Maker, and ever unforgettable Lord Jesus Christ. The blessed word that the Lord has given for you today is from the book of Exodus 34:6, “And The Lord passed before him and proclaimed, The Lord, the Lord God merciful, and gracious, longsuffering, and abounding in goodness and truth.”
From the above context we learn that David had tremendous faith in God. David had foes both within the family, and outside his family. They waited to take away his life. So he said to God, “Show me a sign for good, that those who hate me may see it and be ashamed because You Lord, have helped me and comforted me.”David was pained at heart because even his wife was taken away from him and given in marriage to someone else. He couldn’t bear the separation. King Saul treated him like a flea and kept chasing him throughout his reign as the king of Israel. David was compelled to live in hideouts, in the forests and deep woods.
Are you being chased by your enemies like David? There may be many proud people risen against you, within your family, at your work spot, in the ministry which you do, or in your college where you have been studying, be careful. See what David did, he did not curse or argue with his enemies; instead he silently proved that God was with him, and believed that he would fight for him. He said, “Lord you are a God of compassion, You know my heart, and there is none beside you.” Even my wife did not listen to me, she has gone away with her father. So he submitted his life to God asking him to take care of his life, and he complained about the people, who did not set God before them. And they have no conscious in seeking his life.
May be you too, are honest and faithful to all your people whom you come across, like David, but you have been targeted innocently. You have been accused falsely; someone in your family has taken away the property that actually belongs to you. Yet you have been harmless. Such people are loved by God and will also be comforted. No evil shall befall you, God himself will be a wall of fire about you and your family. He will guard you and protect you. David is, unable to bear the pain of his sufferings, so he cries out to God for help. He asks God to show him a sign, for good, that those who hate him might see it and be ashamed because the Lord helped him and comforted him too. David wanted God to reveal to him, that God was dealing with him for his good and not for evil. He wanted to ensure that God was with him and against all his enemies. His enemies could not allow the poor servant of God alone. Instead of applauding him and making him the chief of the army or giving him a high post in the kingdom, for winning the great giant Goliath King Saul his, uncle was taking every effort to kill him by throwing javlin at him. Unitedly they sought the good man’s life. They hunted in packs and keen scent and eager foot to destroy him.
God has promised that He will not suffer the innocent, to be oppressed, but will always, at length, succor them. Thus David confided in God, and encouraged himself in the Lord God of Israel. God will fight for you and exalt you as He exalted, David to be the king of Israel after the death of king Saul. God will be merciful to you and deliver you from the hands of evil people. God says, for a little while I had forgotten you but later I will show mercy to you. God bless you.
Prayer: Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Dear Lord we thank You for being merciful to us. For helping us get along in this world, by Your strength. Just as you fought for David please fight for us too, as we are often attacked by several enemies. Save us from their cruel hands. Make us stand erect before them at the appointed time. So that they will know that we belong to a holy God.
In Jesus Name We Pray.
Amen.
Psalms 86:7, “In The day of my trouble, I will call upon you. For you will answer me.”
My dearly beloved in Christ, I greet and bless you all in the Name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. The auspicious word of God that comes to you for today, is taken from the book of Psalms 86:7, “In The day of my trouble, I will call upon you. For you will answer me.”
Many of you are in agony thinking about your problems. Today call upon the name of the Lord and surely He will answer you.
In the Bible, we can see that Bartimaeus the blind man called upon the name of the Lord. He cried out loudly saying, “Jesus Son of David”. God immediately stood for a while and asked his disciples to bring him. Then looking at him he asked him “What must I do for you?” He said, “Lord I need my sight.” Jesus immediately performed a miracle for him and he received his sight. The moment the blind man asked God for help , Lord Jesus granted his request. The Bible says, “Ask that your joy may be full.” There is another verse that says, “Everyone who asks receives.” God says, call upon Me when you are in trouble. But many do not call upon the Lord instead they sink into depression. Some go to the point of suicide when their problem is beyond the limit. Others lose their faith in God when they crumble down due to problems. Some backslide from God when they go through trials and temptations.
My dear children of God, at times of struggle, you need to call upon the Lord who can deliver you from your problems. You should tell him about your difficult situations and ask Him to deliver you from your struggles. You must ask God to intervene in your problem and create a solution for you, not only that when you call upon the name of the Lord during your difficult situation the God of comfort will comfort you. We can read in the Bible, both Martha and Mary were filled with grief, over the death of their only brother Lazarus. In the midst of grief and sorrow, Jesus came and consoled the sisters who were weeping over the death of their brother. God wanted to wipe the tears of the sisters. The Bible says, “Jesus wept.” The sisters told the Lord that if only He had been with them, their brother Lazarus would not have died. They never thought that if Jesus performed a miracle then Lazarus could regain life. My dear children of God you should have such kind of faith always, that Jesus is able to raise the dead from the grave. That is why Jesus says, “If you believe you shall see the glory of God.” Though they had no faith yet God performed a miracle in the midst of their disbelief and brought Lazarus alive since, they claimed that ‘if only Jesus was with them Lazarus would not have died’. God will strengthen you to come out of this grief and will also give you solutions or make a way to overcome this situation. Please ask God to help you when you are in trouble, God will perform a miracle for you in the midst of your grief and sorrow and will comfort you on every side. The Bible says, “those who suffer sorrow are blessed. For they shall be comforted.” Just as Jesus handed over Lazarus into the hands of the sisters, God will entrust all your lost wealth, property, and relationship, back to you. He will give you back your anointing, job and bless you.
Prayer: Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Dear Lord, whatever problems my children have been caught up in, Lord please deliver them from all their troubles. And help them to live in all ways, hale and healthy as their soul prospers. The debts they have incurred, the shame and humiliation they had gone through, the disease and all the evil they had been through, they should never again suffer Lord. Perform miracles for them and keep them happy. Honour them and bless them.
In Jesus Name We Pray.
Amen.
Psalms 34: 10, “Those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing.’’
My dearly beloved in Christ, I greet and bless you all in the Name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. The auspicious word of the Lord is taken from the book of Psalms 34: 10, “Those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing.’’
My Dear children of God, today we can see people lack many things in their lives. There is lack in health, in the family, in the business, in the ministry, in finance, lack of job, lack of food, lack of good living, lack of joy, lack of many things in life. So, some of you are thinking when will I see the fullness in my life? In order to see the fullness in your life, the Lord is showing you a way. It is to ‘seek the Lord’. The Bible says, “ Those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing.” Therefore, this is the day, the Lord has kept for you, start seeking Him. Hereafter as soon as you wake up you need to seek the face of the Lord. Then you need to have family prayer at night. If you do these two things then you will not lack any good things. God will then change all your insufficiency to fullness.
In the Bible, we can see that during the days of Prophet Elisha, one day He went on to Shunem, where a wealthy woman lived, who urged him to eat some food. So, whenever he passed that way, he would turn in there to dine. She had plenty of riches and wealth. There was nothing that she did not have. Good husband, good income, had many servants, own house. She had everything in life. But she lacked one blessing which was the gift of a child. My Dear children of God, The good thing she did was to provide all necessary things for the Prophet Elisha who often visited her town on missionary work. She not only opened the door of her house but also gave the upper room for the prophet and his servant to stay each time they came to her town. She was able to do this because of her good nature and kind-heartedness. She respected the prophet as he was a representative of God. So what we need to understand is that she was interested in seeking the Lord, by serving the prophet. She felt that she would receive the blessing of God if she honoured God’s servant. When the prophet left her house he wanted to do something in return for her kindness. So when he came to know that she did not have a child, he called her and said to her, “About this time next year, you shall embrace a son.”
So, the Lord blessed the Shunem woman with a male child. Maybe you have been married for many long years but you haven’t been blessed with a child. You have not been educated well, but have not secured a good job for several years, You don’t have a house of your own for many long years. You have not received salvation until today. You have no prayer life. All these are something you lack in your life. Therefore, start seeking the Lord in order to obtain all these things in life. Learn to seek the Lord and learn to pray then God will perform many miracles for you. All your lack will change through the name of the Lord.
Prayer: Lord, you said, that all those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing. Many of them are living with many things that they lack, with famine, poverty, from lack of blessings. For such children, I pray that they may learn to pray in the morning and night and to seek the Lord in all that they do. Help them to live a life of fullness. May they receive the mercy of the Lord from His holy presence. Help them to live a life of peace and harmony.
In Jesus Name We Pray.
Amen.
My dearly beloved in Christ, I greet and bless you all in the Name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Today’s word of God for you is taken from the book of Psalm 34:18
The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart and saves such as have a contrite spirit.”
Have you begun this month with a lot of heartache and problems? Let us meditate from the below verse, how God is going to bless and gladden your hearts this month.
“And behold, a leper came and worshiped Him, saying, “Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean.” Then Jesus put out His hand and touched him, saying, “I am willing; be cleansed.” Immediately his leprosy was cleansed. And Jesus said to him, “See that you tell no one; but go your way, show yourself to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses commanded, as a testimony to them.” (Matthew 8:2-4).
We read in the Bible that those afflicted with leprosy will be ostracized by society. Their dwelling shall be outside the camp. Their clothes shall be torn and head bare; and they shall cover their mustache, and cry, ‘Unclean! Unclean!’ so that no one would come across them even by mistake. All the days they have the sore they shall be unclean. (Leviticus 13:44,45).
Let us meditate how Jesus healed one such leper:
1) The leper was ostracized by society:
This leper who was ostracized and isolated by the people had an unshakeable faith that if Jesus would touch him, he would be healed instantly. Imagine the obstacles he must have faced. The crowd must have placed strict boundaries around Jesus, so he was not able to come near Him. But he believed in the promise “Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for Me?” (Jeremiah 32:27). He firmly believed that if he met Jesus, he would be healed.
Young man/ woman have you been shunned and ignored by all? Do not be worried this month God will come in search of you and do a miracle for you. All you must do is submit your lives to God. He is ready to forgive you of all your sins, sanctify and accept you (Proverbs 28:13). If you are suffering from a sickness, He will heal and deliver you (Jeremiah 33:6). Do not be worried.
2) The leper believed in Jesus:
This leper though he was shunned by the society had an unshakeable faith on God. He looked beyond all the hurdles that came his way and put his trust on God. The Bible says if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move (Matthew 17:20). The leper believed his healing would come from God.
Beloved brother/sister what is your state today? Have you backslidden because you lived a wayward life in your youth? Are you deep in sin forgetting that your education, job, and future is in God’s hands? Today, God will do a miracle for you. He is going to bring an end to your backslidden life and prosper and bless your life. Hold tightly to Him!
3) The leper worshipped God:
The ostracised leper crossed many hurdles before he met Jesus. But when he met Jesus the first thing, he did was worship Jesus and not ask for healing. He confessed with faith, “Lord if it is your will heal me, because I know you can.” The leper was healed instantly. Jesus further instructed him to show himself to the priest and give the required offering as instructed by Moses. When you look at this incident in the spiritual context, many young people nowadays are trapped by Satan, blinded, and caught in secret sins. The same Jesus who said, “Be healed for it is my will” will heal and deliver them from secret sins and curses. The blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin (1 John 1:7).
Perhaps Satan has drawn a fence to stop you from approaching God. Remember, we can go to Jesus anytime, anywhere as there is no restriction. Whatever be the sin we have committed, we can approach Him and look at His face, He will cause His face to shine upon us. And will pity you as a father pities His children. So, submit yourselves wholeheartedly to Jesus and when you worship Him like the leper wholeheartedly, He will cleanse and strengthen you as He did to the leper. He will sanctify and strengthen you and do a miracle for you. Will you join me in prayer!
Prayer: Father, we thank you for this day. Lord when the leper came in search of you, you said, “Be healed for it is my will”, in the same way sanctify and deliver these young people trapped in sin and curse. Help them to live lives pleasing in your sight and thereby be a testimony. Break all their sinful chains and bring them out of darkness into light. May their lives be prosperous and blessed. In Jesus name. Amen.
