HEED TO GOD’s WORD

I greet and bless you in the name of our Creator, Maker, and ever unforgettable Lord Jesus Christ. The blessed word that the Lord has given for you today is from the book of Psalms 119:9, “How Can a Man Cleanse His ways? By taking Heed to God’s Word.

How can a young man cleanse his way? How shall he become and remain practically holy? He is a young man, full of passion, and poor in knowledge and experience; how shall he get right, and keep right? Never was there a more important question for any man; It is not an easy task which the prudent young man sets before him. He wishes to choose a clean way, to cleanse himself from any foulness which may arise in the future, but, alas, his way is already unclean by actual sin. So he finds himself, the difficulty, first of beginning aright, next of being always able to know and choose the right, and of continuing in the right till perfection is ultimately reached: this is hard for any man, so how shall a youth accomplish it? Let him not think that he knows the road to easy victory, nor dream that he can keep himself by his own wisdom; he will do well if he follows the Psalmist, and become an earnest enquirer asking how he may cleanse his way. Let him become a disciple of the holy God, who alone can teach him how to overcome the world, the flesh, and the devil. He is young and unaccustomed to the road; let him not be ashamed often to enquire his way   from God who is so ready and so able to instruct him in the way he should go. For God says, “I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go. I will guide you with My eye.”

“Our way” is a subject which concerns us deeply, and it is far better to enquire about it than to speculate upon mysterious themes which rather puzzle than enlighten the mind.  There are many questions   a young man might ask, but among all the questions which a young man may ask, let this be the first and chief question, “Wherewithal shall I cleanse my way?” The Bible says, by taking heed thereto according to thy word.      Young   man, the   Bible must be your chart, and you must exercise great watchfulness that your way may be according to its directions.  You must study your Bible that you may take heed to your daily life. For however a man may be good, he will go astray if his map misleads him; but with the most accurate map he will still lose his road if he does not take heed to it. No one would like to take the narrow way, neither does, any man ever lead a holy life, heedless to the word of God.   We can sin without thought, we have only to neglect the great salvation and ruin our souls; but to obey the Lord and walk uprightly will need all our heart and soul and mind.

Yet the “word of God” is absolutely necessary; for, otherwise, the cares of this world will darken him into anxiety, and conscientiousness may become superstition. A captain may watch from his deck all night; but if he knows nothing of the coast, and has no pilot on board, he may be carefully hastening on to shipwreck. It is not enough to desire to be right; for ignorance may make us think that we are doing service to God,   but we are actually provoking Him.  Let each man, whether young or old, who desires to be holy have a holy watchfulness in his heart, and keep his Holy Bible before his open eye. There he will find every turn of the road marked down, every slough and miry place pointed out, he will find light for his darkness, comfort for his weariness, and company for his loneliness. The Bible says,  “ Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying,“ This is the way, walk in it. Whenever you turn to the right hand, Or whenever you turn to the left.

To those of you who are young and are reading this message I wish to tell you, that “You need to search the Scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal life; and these are they which testify of Me.”Knowing Jesus is knowing wisdom and knowledge and having good understanding.  May God help you to know Jesus.  Therefore   young    man,   Watch, stands fast in the faith, be brave, be strong.  Let all that you do , be done with love. Shun all evil, and   Resist the Devil and He will flee from you.  If not he will empower   and you shall become enslaved by his cunning tactics and bring about your downfall.  Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.  Therefore   young man does not lose heart.  Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, for one of the greatest gifts that God gave his children was the gift of hope.    For who knows what is good, for man in life.  So remember your creator, in the days of your youth, before the difficult days come, and the years draw near, when you say, I have no pleasure in them.

Prayer:   Our   loving    heavenly   Father,   we    thank   You    for this blessed day.  Father God, we thank you for teaching us through this message that we need to cleans our ways, through the reading of God’s word.  Help us to stay away from all the works of the evil one. Direct our steps.   Guide us with your eyes and lead us in the path of righteousness. Teach us to seek God early in our life when we are strong and eligible and not when we have lost all our strength.  Give us the strength to live for God.

 In Jesus Name we pray.

Amen.

Everlasting Love

My dear brothers and sisters, I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord.  The blessed word that God has given for you today is from the book of Jeremiah 31:3, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with loving   kindness have I drawn thee”. Again I will build you, and you shall be rebuilt, O virgin of Israel!  You shall again be adorned with your tambourines, And shall go forth in the dances of those who rejoice. You shall yet plant vines on the mountains of Samaria; The planters shall plant and  eat them as ordinary food.

My dear Brothers and  Sisters  we have been  experiencing  the love of Jesus  in one way or the other. God builds up the  ruined places of your life. The Lord says, I will build you up. And you shall be rebuilt. Many have lost their family lives because of divorce or because you have been forsaken by your wife or your husband. To such people the Lord says, I will rebuild your families. Your ruined   life will be re established.  Believe in the Lord. He will do marvelous things in your life.  The Bible says, “Eye has not seennor ear heardNor  have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him .

I wish to share the testimony of a sister Thilagavathi who had been married and later divorced  for various reason . She attended our Anbarin Padathil   Oru   Naal   Fasting Prayer Meeting and prayed earnestly. As her case was under way and hearing was about to happen soon. She was in great distress as to how the court verdict would turn out to be. And what would be the state of her life. But the Lord called her by name Thilagavathy  during the name calling  session and assured that she would join her husband very soon. She couldn’t believe her ears. She happened to attend that meeting by her friend who took pity on her and brought her there. Adjacent week the hearing  came  and Sister  Thilagavathy  had to been to the court. To her surprise her husband   who came over   there told her that he will withdraw the case and will take her home. Sister Thilagavathy couldn’t believe her eyes, her joy knew no bounds. She is now living a very happy married life. God rebuilt her ruined life.   It’s   amazing to know how God works in the life of His children. To those who have not settled in life as yet, God will settle you soon. You will have a happy married life. The Lord will open the door of marriage for you.

God loved David. He exhibited his love to David by blessing him with a wise son Solomon, to sit on his throne after him.  Hiram king of Tyre wrote to Solomon. saying” Because the Lord loves His people, He has made you king over them.” Hiram also said , “Blessed be the Lord,  God of Israel, who made heaven and earth, for He has given King David a wise son,  endowed with prudence and understanding.  In the same manner God will bless you with a generation that would be wise, prudent, and with good  understanding. Many of you are longing to have the gift of a child. God will soon bless those of you who are crying for a child. The Bible says, God grants the barren woman, a home, like a joyful mother of children. The Love of God has been poured upon you for you are very precious in His sight. Therefore God wants to honour and exalt you in life.

God bless you.

Prayer:

Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Father we thank you for your everlasting love and for rebuilding our ruined lives. We praise you for blessing our children with  wisdom,  prudence and good understanding.  Help us to be faithful and seek God diligently all the days of our life.  In  Jesus name we pray.

Amen.

God will comfort you

I greet and bless you in the name of our Creator, Maker, and ever unforgettable Lord Jesus Christ. The blessed word that the Lord has kept for you today is from the book of Jeremiah 30:8, “On that day,   I will break his yoke from your neck and tear off your chains so strangers will never again enslave him.”

Scripturally, the Bible says.  It shall come to pass that the Lord of hosts will save Jacob from all his troubles.

A yoke is a long piece of wood tied across the necks of two animals such as oxen, in order to make them walk close together when they are pulling a plow.   Yoke also means, oppression, slavery, bondage, servitude. Today we find many people bound by a yoke, of various kinds.    Some may be addicted to drugs. Some might be chain smoker. We often read in the news how young boys and girls are addicted to online games. Chatting and even end up their life, like the Blue Whale. They get caught up in such activities playfully   without knowing   the danger or seriousness   of the game.  This is a type of yoke, in which many youngsters get entangled.

There are some in larger scale known as slavery or bondage. Some are entangled in witchcraft and black magic and sorcery. This is a crude type of yoke. When one is caught in this type of yoke he is not able to release himself so easily.  It may take several years for him to come out of this yoke. Such yoke gets released usually by prayer and fasting. Some enemy must have done this to him that they may not do well in life. I know of a brother who had been caught up in such yoke. He was an agent and had to walk from door to door.  He was brought to our Prayer Tower. His leg was almost swollen and rotten in a way ready to be amputated. They had spent a lot of money on him for treatment.  The family had lost all hope.  He was their breadwinner.  His wife and daughter came along with him.  I prayed for him and he used to come regularly and I applied prayer oil over his leg and through fasting and prayer he was healed. It was amazing to see that family return home   in peace and   happiness after several weeks of prayer.

To those of you reading this message, may now realize that you too are caught up in some yoke,  in one way or the other. You may be going through struggles because of debts, or a   case pending in the court for several years, or you had a big loss in your business. You may be going through some kind of shame and humiliation among the people in your neighbourhood, because of your own spouse because he is a drunkard; You are unable to face others. But I tell you as prophesy, that God will break the yoke from your neck and will burst your bonds. Only God can deliver you from all your struggles. Believe in Jesus. The Bible says, All things are possible to them that believe on His Name. There is power in His name. He will strengthen You, by His power.  Therefore do not be afraid, God will break the yoke from your necks. He will deliver you from all your struggles. No weapon formed against you shall prosper.   Do not be dismayed or discouraged.  The Bible says, Jacob   who was in bondage under captivity, shall return and have rest and be quiet. Similarly God will quieten you comfort you and increase you from all sides. God bless you.

Prayer:   Our   loving    heavenly Father,   we    thank You for this blessed day.  Father God, we thank you for revealing to us that we are captivated by different kinds of yoke.  Only You can  bring about a change in our lives therefore deliver us from the yoke in which we have been caught up and let us live in peace and quietness. Thank You Lord for encouraging us through this message and assuring us with hope of a better future.

In Jesus Name We Pray

Amen.

God’s Power

I greet and bless you in the name of our Creator, Maker, and ever unforgettable Lord Jesus Christ. The blessed word that the Lord has kept for you today is from the book of Deuteronomy 8:18, which says, “And you shall remember the LORD your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth. ”

From the above context we learn that we need to remember the Lord who gives us the power to get wealth. Deuteronomy  8:18,  is really saying that we need to remember the God of Israel, because only through Him,  we  are able to be the kind of people – people of valour, virtue and might, both physically and spiritually, to serve Him and to do His will in establishing His covenant. Moses reminds the people of Israel, that they need to  remember the Lord their  God, That he was the author of their beings, the God of their lives and mercies; what great and good things he had done for them in Egypt, and in the wilderness; and particularly in putting them into the possession of such a fruitful country,   Canaan, abounding with all that heart could wish for:  Moses  tells  them that It is God   who gives  them  the power to get  wealth; for though men may have seeming opportunities for getting wealth, may have capacities for the management of business for the acquisition of it, and may not be wanting in diligence and industry, yet may not attain it;    but  it is the blessing of God that makes one  rich, and to that it should be imputed whenever it is enjoyed;

For the Bible says,   It is in vain that you rise up early and go late to rest, eating the bread of anxious toil; for he gives to his beloved sleep.  For the Lord provides for those He loves.   When we obey his commandments,   and realize that it is God who gives us the power to get wealth, then     God would establish his covenant which he swore unto their fathers, that he would give the land of Canaan to their seed, and make them a rich and flourishing people, as they would be when they possess the land.  Moses was rather  afraid and worried that  when  their   heart is lifted up, and they forget the Lord,  their  God who brought them  out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage; who led them  through that great and terrible wilderness, in which there were fiery serpents and scorpions and thirsty land where there was no water; who brought water for them  out of the flinty rock; who fed them  in the wilderness with manna, might say out of pride in their  heart, “My power and the might of my hand have gained me this wealth.”

God does not condemn wealth. He wants us to prosper, but He also wants us to be aware that wealth can powerfully distract us from Him. In one sense, it is dangerous for Him to give His people wealth because wealth can turn us away from God,   without our being aware of it happening. For all God’s gifts are in pursuance of His promise. As   Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation. There is no fickleness, neither shadow of turning. People usually have a craze for cars. And so   they desire to have a car. It is a good desire.  You think,    if your neighbour has a car then you need to buy a car.  So you get big loans and buy a car. That too, a big costly car. Month on month you need to pay   from your budget an EMI. For the first four months you will be able to pay, then from the fifth month you may not be able to pay the dues. You begin to struggle. You suffer without enough funds to repay the car loan. There are many things you need to know before you buy a car. You need to put petrol for the car. Once a year you need to pay insurance for it. Then you need to pay tax for the purchase of the car. Sometimes you may have to repair and give the car for service. Keeping all this in mind you need to buy a car. There is a saying, “Look before you leap.”

To those of you who are reading this message I wish to tell, that you need to be wise.  May be you are caught up in a loan,   Car loan, House loan, Education loan, and personal loan.  All these are necessary but you need to be wise in choosing your priority. Give importance to what is most necessary then the rest follows.  You need to move forward slow and steadily one at a time.   Many foolishly get entangled in the snares of material desire and end up either in financial crisis or ruin their life. Wait until God lifts you up to a good status.  Then God Himself will provide you a good car, a house and all that is essential for you. We see Abraham, Isaac and Jacob our fore fathers were all blessed.  They were rich and wealthy. They lacked nothing because they walked in the ways of God. If you walk according to the ways of God and keep His commandments then God will help you to be rich and wealthy. For both riches and honour come from You, God, And You reign over all. In Your hand is power and might; In Your hand it is to make great.  And to give strength to all. God Bless you.

Prayer:   Our   loving    heavenly Father,   we    thank   You for this blessed day.  Father God, we thank you for telling us that we ought to remember, that it is God who gives us the power to get wealth and not we by ourselves. Help us to be wise and careful while dealing with money. Not to be greedy of money or material. Always give importance to what is priority and not accumulate unnecessary goods in the house through loans. Teach us not to look at our neighbours and follow wrong ideas.  Rather be wise and careful in money matters.

In Jesus Name We Pray.

Amen.

God will rescue you

I greet and bless you in the name of our Creator, Maker, and ever unforgettable Lord Jesus Christ. The blessed word that the Lord has kept for you today is from the book of   Jeremiah 22:3, “This is what the LORD says: ‘Do what is just and right. Rescue from the hand of the oppressor the one who has been robbed. Do no wrong or violence to the foreigner, the fatherless or the widow, and do not shed innocent blood in this place”

From the above context we learn that the Lord does not wish the needy and the poor to be oppressed.  God wants us to do what is just and right in His sight.  We should not do any wrong or cause violence to the stranger, the fatherless or the widow. Thus the Lord, says, that we need to extend   righteous Judgment; without respect of persons, and without a bribe or corruption.  When the fatherless and widows go through hard circumstances, we need to help them to defend themselves;

In times of trouble, the Lord Himself will give refuge to the oppressed. Oppression is malicious, unjust treatment or exercise of power over the weaker section.  David faced much oppression through his wife, his son Absalom, and his children and from the neighbouring kings. His own uncle king Saul, kept chasing him even though David brought victory to Israel by fighting against the Philistine, giant Goliath. David was appointed as the next king of Israel. Yet David never harmed Saul, the anointed king. David spared his life. When Saul went after David with three thousand men to kill him on the rocks of the Wild Goats, David noticed him hiding in the cave. And he cut of the edge of Saul’s robe, while he was asleep. David did not kill the king as he was anointed by God. Therefore Saul said to David, “You are more righteous than I for you have rewarded me with good, whereas   I have rewarded you with evil.”  Even though he was oppressed he kept praising the Lord. He says, I will praise the Lord as long as I have my being.

We read in the Bible about another character, Joseph who was oppressed by his own brothers.  He was thrown into a deep pit,  later he was sold into slavery by his jealous brothers. But Joseph rose to become Vizier, the second most powerful man, in Egypt, next to Pharaoh. But before he could become  the  Governor of Egypt, he  was  badly  oppressed by Potiphar’s, wife,  who was  the captain of Pharaoh’s guard. Joseph was   falsely accused because he did not yield to her desires   and therefore Joseph was thrown into the prison for no fault of his. Yet Joseph endured patiently in the prison for two long years, until one day God delivered him from the prison and honoured him, as the governor of Egypt. The dreams which he shared to his father and brothers came to pass in his life. There was famine in the land of Canaan and so his brothers came to Egypt for grain and later for their survival. Thus we see the people of God being oppressed, severely and how God delivered them.  Joseph married Asenath and had two children. Manasseh and Ephraim. When the second son was born Joseph said, “God has caused me to be fruitful in the land of my affliction.”

Today the Lord is prophetically saying, to all of you who are reading this message, that God knows your affliction that you are going through. The Lord will soon cause you to be fruitful, Hallelujah!   God who exalted Joseph in that strange land, will exalt you also. He will grant to you all that you desire. He will magnify you and lift you up in life,   if you remain in the hands of God for a season of time until God Himself will deliver you from your affliction and cause peace into your life. Often we hear of death due to Corona, or people commit suicide because of huge debts. They are unable to clear the loan. Are you in such a difficult situation, be patient as Joseph was in the jail? God will open a way where there seems no way. Even in the jail Joseph never murmured against God he was just seventeen years,  yet he was confident that God will make his dreams come true. He knew that God had a purpose in his life and so he was sold as a slave to the Egyptians. He held on to God Yahweh and continued to be faithful. He had the gift of revealing the dreams of the baker and butler, while he was in the prison and this gift brought him out of the jail. For He revealed the dream of the Pharaoh about the seven years of famine that was to hit the land and God had prepared him to save the lives of the people from starvation. So when his brothers came to him for grains he said to them,  “But as for you, you  thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive.”God will turn your sorrow into joy. God bless you.

Prayer:   Our   loving    heavenly Father,   we    thank  You for this blessed day.  Father God, we thank you for showing us through the characters of  David, and Joseph how they endured oppression.  Help us also to   endure patiently   our troubles. Give us the grace to overcome our oppression that we go through by  our own people.  Teach us to be more faithful and devoted to God so that we can not only bear our sufferings but also receive deliverance from oppression.

In Jesus Name We Pray.

Amen.
