Cry Unto the Lord

Jonah 2:2, “I cried unto the Lord, because of my affliction, And He answered me.”

My dearly beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, I greet and bless you all in the Name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Today’s life-giving word is taken from   the book of Jonah 2:2, “I cried unto the Lord, because of my affliction, And He answered me.”

My dear children of God, today many of you are caught up in a tight corner situation. Some of you are caught up in financial crises, some suffer in their work spot, some are caught up by members of their own families who cause mental harassment to them, some are suffering because of their own wife, siblings, or by their own children.   Due to pressure from members of their own family, terrible trouble shoots up and they suffer from stress, and some sink into depression. So, while they suffer from a period of affliction, and while you travel in the midst of affliction and tight corners, there is someone who could deliver, and helps you from such a situation. I would like to share a few words about such a person.  God says, “Call upon Me in the day of trouble and I will deliver you.” Jesus is the one who is all-powerful and He is happy to help you. He alone can help you when you call upon Him.

In the Bible, when David was in a similar situation and attacked fromall four corners, he said, ‘Lord, I praise and thank You for delivering me, from all these hard situations’. God delivered him. Jonah was inside the belly of a huge fish. He couldn’t even breathe freely. He was under the pressure of death. But Jonah, even from the belly of the fish realized his mistake and so he cried out to God for help. He told the Lord that only He could save him from this tight corner situation and deliver him from the mouth of the fish. God had commanded the fish to vomit Jonah on the shore. And the fish obeyed the word of God and left Jonah on the shore safely. Some of you might be caught, in a troubling situation, as Jonah was in the mouth of the fish.   Today, you also can call upon the name of the Lord just as God heard the cry of Jonah and delivered him from the mouth of the fish, God will deliver you from your problem however big it may be. God has said, “Call upon Me in the day of trouble”. If you call upon Him, He will come immediately and deliver you. God who delivered Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego from the furnace of fire, is able to deliver you from your problem. God who caused Daniel to escape from the mouth of the Lion, is our God. Today He will deliver.

PRAYER:  Dear Lord, thank you for speaking to us through the verse that “ I cried unto the Lord, because of my affliction, And he answered me.” Dear Lord, deliver my children from whatever tight corner they are caught up with.  Lord, change all their troubled situation and be in the midst of their trouble. “If the Son sets you free then you shall be free indeed”, says, the word of God. Give them real deliverance, open the walls of heaven and bless them. Change all these hard and troubled situations and grant them peace and joy.

In  Jesus name we pray ,

Amen.

Invite The Holy Spirit

John 16:13, “However when He, the Spirit of Truth has come, He will guide you into all the Truth”.

My dearly beloved in Christ, I greet and bless you all  in the Name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. The auspicious life-giving word of the Lord for today is taken from the book of John 16:13, “However when He, the Spirit of Truth has come, He will guide you into all the Truth”.

When the Spirit of God comes into your life then He will lead you into the Truth. The Truth here means “The Word of God.” So, when the spirit of truth comes, then He will lead you into the Truth.  Why should a man be led by the word of God? This is a question that may arise while you read this verse. Why should a man be led by the word of God is because there is life for a man only in the word of God. There is forgiveness in the word of God and only through the word of God, He will be able to come out of all the knots that he is entangled in.

The word of God is like medicine, that heals the wounds of people and it comforts them. In the Bible, David says, “I have hid thy word in my heart that I may not sin against thee”.  Word of  God  is important to protect us from committing sin  in our life.  The Holy Spirit will tell from within what to do   and what not to do. He will guide you in the right way. That is why, Joseph when he was troubled by Potipher’s   wife, to commit sin, he says, How shall I sin against God ?  Saying this he threw away his mantle or cloak   and ran away from her as he did not want to  spoil   the temple of God within him. Because he ran away from committing sin, what happened? He did suffer for sometime in the jail, it is true that he was punished unjustly but, in the end, a day came when God honoured his holiness. And since he obeyed the word of God and guarded his purity or chastity, God exalted him as the Governor of Egypt. So, we see that the Holy Spirit instructed him not to commit sin or do anything against his conscience. So, the word of God protects a man from committing sin.

My Dear children of God, let the Holy Spirit stay within you to guide you. Give room for the Holy Spirit   into your heart today. When the Spirit of God comes inside of you then you shall receive strength. You should invite the Holy Spirit by saying “Lord, I invite you into my heart, to come and remain inside of me.’’ He will direct you in all circumstances how to speak, how to work, He will teach you everything. So today you give room for the Holy Spirit and the word of God that He teaches, into your heart. Then He will perform great things for you.

PRAYER:  Dear Lord, thank you for speaking to us through the verse that ‘when the Holy Spirit comes into our hearts, He will lead us into all the Truth’.   Holy Spirit come inside the heart of my children and dwell within them.   Lord, help them to walk in the way of truth.  Let the spirit of God break all the barriers, and cut down all the knots in their life and let all those who say that they are suffering from certain disease, receive divine healing in their bodies. Let the word of God deliver them from the spirit of darkness. Give them all that they need and honour them.

 In Jesus Name we pray.

Amen.

Jesus Is the Door

John 10:9, “I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved.”

My dearly beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, I greet and bless you all in the Name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. The auspicious life-giving word of the Lord for today is taken from the book of John 10:9, “I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved.”

This verse means that without God there is no salvation or there is no redemption. No one besides Jesus can save us from our sinful life, or from our wickedness, or our evil ways. Only Jesus has saved us and for saving us He gave Himself freely on the cruel cross, of Calvary. He gave us His very life. He shed every drop of His blood as a price to save us. He purchased us by His sacrifice on the cross. He saved us to give us eternal life. He Himself says, “If anyone enters through Me, then he shall be saved’’ and also, He says “I am the door”. Today many of you are saying, that door has not been opened for you or the way has not been opened for you. It may be the door to salvation, a door for job opportunity, or for family life, or a door for conception to beget a child. You should understand that the one who opens the door, is God. Only He can open the door for you to obtain anything you need. That is why He says, “I am the door”. And when we enter through Him, we can receive what we need in our life.

My Dear children of God, The Bible says, “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above and comes down from the father of lights, with whom there is no variation”.  So, you need to come to Jesus. Because He alone is the door and only through Him you can get anything you need. Therefore, you must learn to depend upon Him for everything you need.

My dear children of God, some depend upon their children while others depend upon their parents for all their requirements. You should not depend upon others for anything. But when you learn to depend upon God, He will help you earn and make you a blessing for others and not be a burden to others. Always depend upon God, this is how you need to live, and then God will be pleased with and bless you with all the desires of your heart.

God expects holiness and He says, “sanctify yourself today, and you shall see the miracle tomorrow”. You pray and work hard but whether you are holy is the question. Many fail to be holy and perfect in their life. Then how can you expect God to show favour to you? Every day pray, work hard and lead a holy and blameless life, all these things are essential for God to Bless you. God is counselling you today through this message. The Lord is opening a way for your job, a door for your marriage settlement. A door for you to receive the gift of a child. And thus, He will establish you on the face of this earth.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, thank you for speaking to us through the verse “I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved.” Dear Lord, open all the doors, that had been kept closed all these days to my children. My children are grieved in their heart, as the doors from four corner has been closed for them. Today, open their eye to know you are the only way and help me move forward through you. Then they will be safe and they will be saved. Lord, you have clearly spoken through this message, allow all doors to be opened for my children.   Open the door that cannot be shut, and bless them upon the face of this earth. Grant them peace and fill them with joy and happiness.

In Jesus Name we pray

Amen

The Lord Is A Stronghold

Nahum 1:7 “The Lord is Good. A stronghold in the day of trouble.”

My dearly beloved in Christ, I greet and bless you all in the Name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. The auspicious life-giving word of the Lord for today is taken from the book of Nahum 1:7 “The Lord is Good.   A stronghold in the day of trouble.”

We all know that God is good. And no one can deny that He is good. Jesus is coming to your house today as a stronghold to save you from all difficult situations, during the period of affliction. We see that everyone has to go through affliction daily in their life, in some way or another. God said, “Call upon Me in the day of trouble, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things which you do not know.” Actually, when difficult times come people forget God. They take all kinds of effort and precautions to manage their difficult situations, But the first and foremost thing you need to do is to call upon the name of the Lord. When you call Him in times of trouble He will come and stand for you.

In the past, you came across several problems hardships and afflictions. You might have met some accidents or the creditors might have troubled you with regarding your debts. Or you might have been troubled due to unnecessary friendship. You might have been caught up in some unwanted cases. All these are like tight corner situations. Many would have pushed you into such terrible situations and they would have escaped or absconded. But the Lord will come over to you, as a stronghold, to support, you in your hard times. So, what you need to do is to look up to God and call upon His name for help. If any of the bitter situations you are in is caused by you then you should confess to God, that you got caught in trouble due to your own mistake. And ask Him to help you come out of that horrible situation. Tell Him “Lord only You can help us out of this situation”. When you ask God for help, then God will come and rescue you from your troubles. He is a good God. There is another verse that says, “Taste and see that the Lord is good”.  He will reveal Himself as a good God. He will change every difficult situation favorable to you.

Prayer: Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day.  Dear Lord, deliver my children from all the difficult situations they are caught into. Lord, you said that you will be our stronghold. In times of trouble. You said that you are a tower of protection that surrounds us. So, all these days my children were not protected by your tower hence they had to face many problems, pain, agony, and sufferings in their life. Since they were not protected by your strong tower, they had been attacked by satan, and pushed into several problems.  As a result, they are dejected and pained at heart. Today, Lord, you protect them from all the weapons that are targeted against them, and save them and rescue them so that they may live a safe and peaceful life.

In Jesus Name  we pray.

Amen.

The Significance of Prayer!

My Dearly beloved in Christ, I greet and bless you all in the name of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. In these present times, it is crucial that we pray for this decaying world. There is a revival in families and countries only due to prayer. Satan will bring many hindrances to your prayer life. He will try to obstruct you from praying, but our prayers can block him.

We must become strong prayer warriors. Then you will find favor with the Lord. We spend 24 hours a day – eating, sleeping, and working. But how much time do we spend praying? Are you saying – “there is no such specific time”? Our Lord looks at us today and asks, “Could you not stay awake and pray even for one hour? (Mathew 26:40). How can we forget – With what great burden He interceded for us? Only when we face difficulties, we pray and seek God. Then we lose our peace of mind and lament that there is no one to help us in this sinful world.  There is a beautiful Bible verse that says: “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:6,7).

Dear children of God, engrave this Bible verse in your mind, and when you face difficulty let your requests be known only to God in prayer so that you will receive the victory and miracle from Him.  In the bible, we read about Moses, who took His difficulties to God in prayer and won the victory.

“So, Moses cried out to the Lord, saying, “Please heal her, O God, I pray!” (Numbers 12:13).

There are many types of prayer – praying with tears, praying with praise, praying with intercession. Moses was the first person to introduce the prayer of pleading with God. We have observed many mothers pleading and imploring their toddlers to eat their food.  Even a stubborn child will concede to their mother’s pleading. We read in the bible how God punished Miriam with leprosy because she spoke against Moses her brother. Instead of getting furious with Miriam, Moses pleaded with God on her behalf. This pleading prayer of Moses softened God’s heart and He healed Miriam. What a compassionate God we have! When we plead in prayer with God for our problems, diseases, and agony, He will definitely have mercy on us! He will deliver and heal us!

Even when Jesus was hanging on the cross, He pleaded with God for His persecutors, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do.” (Luke 23:34). How deep is God’s love for mankind! Cling to this loving God and learn to pray and get the victory!

Prayer: Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Dear Lord, I pray for my children those who are reading this message. Lord help them to keep their burdens and worries upon you, devote more time to tarry in prayer and inherit their blessings! Give them the grace to hold on to you in every circumstance of their life!

In Jesus Name We Pray.

Amen.
