Dearly Beloved, I greet and bless you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. The blessed word that the Lord has given for you today is from the book of Isaiah 58: 8 , “Then Your light shall break forth like the morning, Your healing shall spring forth speedily. And Your righteousness shall go before you. The glory of the Lord shall be your rear guard.”
From the above context we learn that Prophet Isaiah promised the Israelites, who were poor in spirit, gentle in heart, hungered for righteousness, mourned for their sin and trusted God’s word would be comforted and blessed by the Lord. They would receive mercy and grace in time of need and be granted God’s gracious healing and spiritual wholeness. “Then your light will break out like the first rays of dawn, were Isaiah’s words of comfort to the people of Israel. He tells them, “Your recovery will speedily spring forth and your righteousness will go before you.”
You might think Yes, today I am suffering but a day will come when I will live a blessed life. Like the morning light, Your Day will break forth. You might think, why I should live, when you have lost your child or your husband, or a person, whom you liked so much. Therefore you think, it would be better for you to die. But God says, your healing shall spring forth speedily and your righteousness shall go before you.
There was a blind man called Bartimaeus, who was begging on the way, near to Jericho. But God did not want to see Batrtimaeus, begging on the street any more. He wanted to give him a new life. So he called Bartimaeus, and asked him, “What do you want me to do for you? “He said, “Lord open my eyes that I might see.” Jesus said, Let it be done to you, according to your faith. The Lord gave him his sight, because he wanted to give Bartimaeus a bright future. God gave him an opportunity to live not as a blind man, who was sitting and groping in the dark but brought him to light. Beloved children of God, Is there no light in your business, in your education? Just as God gave sight to Bartimaeus, God will give each one of you what you need. He has specially prepared this message to comfort you. By reading this message you are about to start a new life.”
A brother had attended the Anabarin Pathathil oru Naal Blessing Meeting. He had no food to eat. He was very poor and very helpless. One day he decided to come to the APO meeting, as he had heard about the meeting. He said he was mistreated by his mother in law because he had no job and he could not shift into another apartment. So he came here for prayer. God said, to him, “I have kept an open door for you.”’ He took the word for himself. God enabled him to get construction work over the whole of Ambattur. If you only believe, God will perform miracles. Initially he started to construct a compound, later he started constructing houses. He was in great demand. This happened after he had attended the APO meeting . He who was struggling for a single meal now had plenty to eat. He was blessed with a job, all wealth and property. He was blessed by the word of God that proceeded from the mouth of God’s servant.
Once Jesus comes into your heart, then a great change takes place in your life. You need to hear and obey Gods word. Then God will work in your life. He will perform unimaginable miracles in your life. May God help you to receive His word and be blessed like Bartimaeus, and other men who testified God miracles in their life.
Prayer: Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Help us to familiarise ourselves with every part of Your word, and to be guided into all truth. Teach us and train us, in the way we should go. We pray that Your righteousness will go before us and the glory of the Lord will also be our rear guard – Thank You Lord for all your blessings.
