Dearly Beloved, I greet and bless you in the name of our Creator, Maker, and ever Unforgettable Lord Jesus Christ. The blessed word that the Lord has given for you today is from the book of Isaiah 11: 1, 2, “There shall come forth a Rod from the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots.The Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon Him, the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord.”
It is my pleasure and great joy to meet you through this special message on Christmas day. I wish everyone on behalf of God’s Love Ministries, “A Happy & Blessed Christmas.” Well 2000 years ago the angels brought in the good news about the birth of Jesus Christ to the shepherds. Then the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which will be to all people. For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Saviour, who is Christ the Lord.” The news of the birth of Jesus brought great joy not only to the shepherds, but to the entire world. Jesse refers to the father of David. Jesus was born in the lineage of David the Rod, and his father Jesse the stem. Yes, many years ago even before the birth of Jesus, Prophet Isaiah speaks about the birth of Jesus. Isaiah prophesies that a pure young woman will give birth to Jesus in a manger in Bethlehem, a very small village in Judah.
Jesus was born in Bethlehem. But my desire is that this Jesus should be born inside of you who are reading this message. Only then Christmas will be meaningful. When Jesus is born inside of you then according to, Apostle Paul you are a new creature in Christ. Paul says, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.” Jesus wants you to be refined as a new person in Christ, today. If Christ, who came from heaven, lives inside of you then there will be a great transformation in your life. You will then have all these qualities mentioned in the following verse, “The Spirit of wisdom and understanding, The Spirit of counsel and might, The Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord.”Don’t you like to have these qualities in you? Take Jesus in your heart, then you shall be filled with the Holy Spirit which will direct your steps. You will receive an extraordinary power, when you have Jesus inside of you.
Jesus went about doing good. You will also start doing good. You will stop all kinds of evil deeds and focus your attention in doing good to others. Often you have been thinking as to, “why am I living in this world? I am a burden to others.”Once Jesus comes into your heart you will not be thinking like this. Your attitude will change. You would become a useful vessel unto others. You would start to encourage others. Jesus longs to live inside you, your house, your business centre, your ministry everywhere you go. Just allow Him permanently inside your heart. Your heart should be clean, to hold Him inside your heart. Jesus Christ the True Light should shine within your hearts. When you give room for Christ, He will give you His wisdom, and good understanding. Many of you lack proper wisdom and understanding therefore there is separation in the family. Because of your unwise decision you might have lost many good things in life.
A young man had died, the only son of his mother, and she was a widow. Jesus took pity on her, so, Jesus said to the dead man, “Young man, I say to thee, arise!” And he who was dead, sat up and began to talk, and Jesus gave him back to his mother. Then they all were filled with awe and praised God. This sort of feeling, which Jesus had, should be developed in you.
Jesus is a good counsellor. He will guide you as to how you should maintain your family or carry on your business or how to handle difficult situation at your work spot or how to bring up your children. He will guide you with His eyes, and teach you in the way you should go. Learn from Him how to deal with others through His good counselling. Don’t lean on your own understanding. When Jesus comes inside of you then, He gives, power to the weak, and to those who have no might He increases their strength. Jesus will renew your strength. The spirit of weakness will disappear, from all those who are reading this message. He will give you mental stability. May be all these days you have been dealing foolishly but hereafter you will become a knowledgeable person. God will finally give you the fear of God. You will think before you do anything whether it will please the Lord or not. You shall receive the spirit of discernment. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. So if Jesus comes inside of you, then you will inherit all these good qualities and thus become a child of God a pleasing vessel unto Him. God bless you.
Prayer: Our Loving Heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Lord we thank you for longing to be born inside of us, and making us a new creation. On this happy occasion we welcome You into our heart. Help us to inherit all the above mentioned qualities in us and thus be a pleasing vessel unto God.
